Peloni: A very important conversation between Caroline and Wurmser where they discuss, among other things, how the US is pushing its hostile position upon Israel and that the Israeli elites have utterly failed to challenge the US support for the existential threats being leveraged against Israel.

Has there been a paradigm shift in US policy towards Israel since the beginning of the war with Hamas? What is US policy towards Hezbollah in the North? Is the Biden administration out of touch with the reality in the Middle East?
Caroline Glick talks with the Center for Security Policy’s David Wurmser to discuss all of this and more!

A side note: I believe the German of whom Wurmser could not recall the name was Ernst “Putzi” Hanfstaengl, an intimate associate of Hitler’s who fled from Nazi Germany in 1937 and spent the war in and out of detention camps for Germans while also providing intelligence to the US on Hitler’s inner circle. Putzi claimed that he tried to moderate Hitler’s positions but that his efforts were defeated by Hitler’s more radical associates such as Goebbels and Rosenberg. The truth is that Putzi was a consummate opportunist who fell out of favor with Hitler and made use of his knowledge of that inner circle to the best he could during the war. His claims of Hitler being pulled by the “more radical” Goebbels and Rosenberg were dubious at best, and better described as the self serving attempts by Putzi to manufacture a basis of rehabilitating the stain of being one of Hitler’s very early and very close associates.
