What did Dr. Anthony Fauci know, and when did he know it?
By Lloyd Billingsley, FPM
On Tuesday, Chinese virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan, told Tucker Carlson of Fox News that the coronavirus was “created in the lab” and “intentionally” released by the Chinese Communist Party to “make damage” around the world. That revelation bears stark contrast to Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and a member of the White House coronavirus task force.
Back in May, Fauci went on record that the coronavirus “could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated — the way the mutations have naturally evolved.” Dr. Fauci was quite sure of himself, even though his bio shows no advanced degrees in molecular biology.
Dr. Fauci gained fame for predicting that AIDS would ravage the heterosexual community, which never happened, as Michael Fumento showed in The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS. See also Inventing the AIDS Virus, by Peter Duesberg, formerly professor of molecular and cell biology at UC Berkeley.
Fauci has headed NIAID since 1984, five years before Green New Deal pasionaria Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was born. NIAID is a division of the National Institutes of Health, which in 2014 called a halt to dangerous “gain of function” research, which involves “manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans.” The moratorium ended in 2017, and to the dismay of some scientists, the gain of function research continued in secret. Dr. Fauci played a role in shifting this research to an even more secret place.
“Dr. Fauci Backed Controversial Wuhan Lab with U.S. Dollars for Risky Coronavirus Research,” headlined an April 28 Newsweek report by Fred Guterl. In 2019, “the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.” When Fauci was asked about China’s role in release of the coronavirus he was evasive.
To all but the willfully blind, contends Angelo Codevilla, Fauci is a deep-state fraud. The NIAID boss based his call for a lockdown on various “models,” not hard data about the true mortality rate. In the early going, Fauci said the pandemic was no threat, masks were no help, and so forth. With new coronavirus cases now declining, Fauci tells anybody who will listen “Don’t ever, ever underestimate the potential of the pandemic. And don’t try and look at the rosy side of things.”
Actress Jennifer Garner recently asked Fauci, “When are we going to be able to sit in a theater and watch our favorite performers up on stage again?” Fauci said “I think it’s going to be a combination of a vaccine that has been around for almost a year and good public-health measures,” adding that a vaccine was unlikely by November. The NIAID boss did not get into the science behind his prediction, and it was hardly his only venture into prophecy.
“Dr. Fauci said we’re entering a ‘pandemic age.’ What does that mean?” runs the headline on a September 2 Mic.com report by Joseph Lamour. Fauci’s prediction is based on a paper he authored with his NIAID colleague David Morens. He believes that coronavirus might be only the first of a series of worldwide diseases and “the phenomenon is similar to the exponential growth of climate change.” Fauci and Morens, “point to deforestation, urban crowding, and wet markets for wild game, which have been wreaking havoc for a century and contribute to environmental degradation around the world.”
In similar style, WHO boss Tedros is on record that “the Covid-19 pandemic has given new impetus to the need to accelerate efforts to respond to climate change,” adding “building back better means building back greener,” a variation on Joe Biden’s campaign slogan. As Tucker Carlson of Fox News has noticed, the pandemic and climate change share a curious connection.
“Both are useful pretexts for mass social control,” Carlson explains. “Both are essentially unsolvable crises they can harness to bypass democracy and force powerless populations to obey their commands.” White coat supremacy thus forms an alliance with watermelon environmentalism, green outside and red inside. That’s the vision China sycophant Tedros is promoting, and Fauci calls Tedros a “really outstanding person” and great leader for the WHO.
Dr. Li-Meng Yan says China created the coronavirus in the lab and deliberately released it into the world. True to form, her Twitter account was promptly suspended. Anthony Fauci claims the coronavirus could not have been manipulated, yet he backed U.S. funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology and echoes the pro-China WHO.
Anthony Fauci tells people not to look on the rosy side and touts pandemic convergence with climate change dogma. This white coat supremacist, who turns 80 in December, is long overdue for a colonoscopy.
That means an in-depth investigation of all correspondence between Fauci, NIAID, NIH, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and a full accounting of the funds. Dr. Anthony Fauci needs to appear before a committee, under oath, and explain what he knew and when he knew it. The people have a right to know.
