I am responding to Response #7-Denis MacEoin about Pat Condell-women in Islam).
The Jews and the Christians have moved forward in their beliefs because the Old and the New Testaments don’t deal with killing the non-believers. In addition, they both believe,with the exception of the Ten Commandments,that the Holy Books were written with the ADVISE of God. On the other hand, the Muslims believe that their Holy Book, the Koran, was written by Allah (their God). Therefore,it cannot be changed and they must follow it to the letter, in order for them to be devout Muslims.
Few things depress me more than seeing and hearing someone of obvious intelligence and advanced education standing up to defend the intellectually indefensible. Myers and his companion are talking as Western rationalists with a strong knowledge of science and are met by something that sounds equally intelligent but isn’t. Such people can be found in any religion, but whereas many modern Jews and Christians have moved forward, many Muslim intellectuals are stranded in the mindset of the 7th century, quite unable to tear themselves free from the prescriptions of a shallow book and the later modes of interpretation that came to surround it.
God bless Pat Condell. If only we had more like him who have the guts to speak the truth about Islam. I wish he would run for president, even though he is Irish. Why not have another non American president? We already have a Kenyan.

Pat Condell nailed it. The US government, nee Obama’s, knows what is happening, instead of creating and using the American law to suppress the behavior. This government and all of the West oriented countries need a disposall mentality to get rid of these rag heads, once and for all.
