Civil war is here: But is Trump ready to engage Obama’s street fighters?

President Trump needs a ‘war-time consigliere’ to step up, and soon

There is an iconic scene from the 1972 film The Godfather that someone high up in the Trump administration needs to revisit.

It goes something like this:

The aging godfather, Vito Corleone, passed the torch to his youngest son Michael, who takes power just as the Corleones see their business devolving into a nasty turf war with competing New York mob families. They must come to grips with the new reality on the ground and adopt a sense of urgency, or else pack their bags and get out of town.

Do they hunker down and try to wait out the storm, or do they fight?

Tom Hagen, played by Robert Duvall, was Vito’s adopted son and longtime trusted adviser, or consigliere.

Tom, a lawyer and a skilled negotiator, is loyal and competent in every way. He is gentle in nature and always served as the voice of reason in the family.

But when young Michael assumes power he recognizes the time for talking is over. He decides to fight. Thus, his first decision is a surprising one: He fires Tom as consigliere, and inserts Vito in his place. His reasoning?

“Tom,” he says, you may be a fine man, but “you are not a wartime consigliere.”

President Trump needs to face the facts and realize he is in a war, not just for his presidency but for the heart and soul of America.

We are a nation at the precipice of destruction.

Hard-core communists, not old-fashioned liberals, have infiltrated the government at all levels and have allied themselves with hardcore Islamists. These traitors, many working in governor’s mansions, state AG’s offices and big-city mayors’ offices, are facilitating the destroyers on the ground in cities like Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, Chicago and Atlanta. People, including children, have needlessly died as these traitors talk of defunding and dismantling police departments.

If Trump has a weakness it has been his failure to judge the character and true motivations of those around him.

Some of his original crew, folks like H.R. McMaster, Gen. James Mattis, Nikki Haley and Rex Tillerson, did not share Trump’s vision for putting America first. They pushed back against the anti-globalism agenda Trump ran upon. Some, like Tillerson and McMaster, mocked Trump in private and worked behind his back to thwart his agenda.

When Trump talked about using the military to quell the violence, Mattis publicly backed the protesters and denounced Trump as “a threat to the Constitution.

Some of the more recent team members, like Attorney General Bill Barr and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, are competent and decent men who would have been excellent choices in more normal times. But they seem uncomfortable and hesitant to pull the trigger on big decisions that need to be made against a relentless opponent, the Democrat Party, which has turned itself over to Marxists and globalists intent on fundamentally transforming America.

Trump has to know by now that this is not about politics anymore. This is war. You cannot negotiate with folks like AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and the Squad. The war started out covert, but in the wake of the COVID pandemic and ascendancy of Black Lives Matter and antifa it has come out into the open.

Trump has mostly Tom Hagens at his side when he needs Vito Corleone.

Unless his current team finds their wartime footing, and fast, he will find himself increasingly surrounded by more aggressive and radical opponents who simply overwhelm his administration and the country. Radical progressives, which is liberal code for Marxists, can smell weakness 100 miles away. This emboldens them and fuels their fury, like fire ants running out of a nest. It doesn’t matter if their views represent only a tiny minority of American voters, because voting essentially becomes irrelevant when a Marxist revolution reaches its final stage.

Look at Russia and China. The communists in those countries never made up more than a tiny sliver of the overall population, and yet, faced with weakness from their opposition, they smashed and grabbed their way to power.

Even if Trump wins in November, he is not guaranteed another term. The way things are going, there is a distinct possibility that the radicals will persuade at least a portion of the U.S. military to join them in trying to take Trump down.

Remember, Trump is playing with Obama’s military and Obama’s bureaucracy.

Obama purged the top military brass during his eight years in office, removing more than 200 commanding officers and replacing them with globalist shills.

“I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluation reports so they will never make Flag (officer), because of their failure to comply to certain views,” Retired Navy Capt. Joseph John was quoted as saying in a 2014 article by Retired Gen. Paul Vallaly.

Surely, Trump could have ordered the military into Seattle, Minneapolis and Portland, under strict orders to use rubber bullets, water cannons and other non-lethal means to convincingly quash the protests as soon as they turned violent. This would have made a statement that America has zero tolerance for organized violence. Can you imagine President Obama hesitating to act if far-right Tea Party Republicans had started smashing windows and lighting buildings on fire?

But this is Obama’s military, not Trump’s, and these are Marxist mobs, not Tea Partiers. Hence, the military brass pushed back against Trump’s desire to use military force against the violent mobs.

Obama also remade the federal bureaucracies in his image, stacking every agency with people who were aligned with his political views. His own domestic policy aide, Cecelia Munoz, admitted that she and her boss were in the process of rigging the federal agencies in such a way that Obama’s policies would live on long after Obama was gone from the White House. [See page 74, Stealth Invasion, by Leo Hohmann, 2017, WND Books]. They understood that political appointees heading up the agencies could only do so much, for a limited time, and the real power lies in the hands of the lifetime civil servants.

Obama realized he was in a war for the future of America and was determined to use every lever to his strategic, long-term advantage.  Every single man and woman in his circle of advisers were united in their effort to turn America into a second-tier power subservient to the interests of China and the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Obama’s brilliant plan to reach down into the non-political appointee level and get his people hired to those positions was confirmed by a source within the Department of Homeland Security interviewed last week by LeoHohmann.com.

“He didn’t fire anyone, he waited them out and was very selective and they hired their own people, they were very smart about it,” the source told me. “They put all their people in power and they’re all still in there today.

“Most of these people are for the most part very liberal people, who run the day-to-day operations of the federal agencies. So people ask why isn’t ICE doing more, why aren’t they deporting more? Because they aren’t going along with the agenda, what the president wants, they’re just moving things around, shifting numbers; it’s a shadow game, and it’s really unbelievable.”

That’s why the FBI refuses to investigate Rep. Ilhan Omar’s immigration fraud and refuses to infiltrate the rising Muslim and black-power militias. Instead, the Bureau is out hunting white supremacists.

“I have sat in on meetings where they are going on and on about a few guys with no capabilities, no brain power, no funding and this is what we’ve spent the last hour talking about and it just blows my mind,” the source said.

In these same meetings, often with local law enforcement present, the real threats get met with hushed silence and icy stares if anyone should bring them up.

“They won’t even mention Islam or radical anything at the Bureau anymore,” he said of the FBI.

As this author previously reported, the FBI routinely sends out Muslims to provide sensitivity training for law officers, and these civilizational jihadists always point the police away from the Islamic threat and in the direction of white supremacy, as they did at a 2018 BRIDGES meeting in Detroit. [See FBI takes on ‘Islamophobia’: White nationalism seen as bigger threat than jihadism, Jan. 26, 2018, LeoHohmann.com]

In her July 29 article for PJ Media, Pamela Geller reminded us that Obama also inserted multiple Muslim Brotherhood operatives and sympathizers into strategic positions within the Department of Justice.

Eric Treene is a prime example of the kind of pro-Muslim Brotherhood, pro-Marxist, anti-American asset who is on a first-name basis with the leaders of Hamas’s U.S. branch, the Council on American Islamic Relations, as well as the Islamic Society of North America. Treene still reports to work every day at the DOJ as Bill Barr’s special counsel for religious discrimination within the DOJ Civil Rights Division.

“I exposed Treene’s subservience to Muslim organizations linked to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood over eight years ago,” Geller writes. “What’s Eric Treene still doing there?”

Then you have Amir Ehsaei, a Muslim of Iranian descent who has been working in the FBI since 2004, and was just recently promoted to special agent in charge of the FBI’s counter-terrorism unit in Los Angeles.  He was promoted to that sensitive position by Trump’s FBI Director, Christopher Wray, the FBI announced in an April 28 press release.

Is it any wonder that the attitude within federal law enforcement with regard to the Islamic threat is almost as if it doesn’t exist?

This is why Omar can marry her brother in order to get him into the country and nothing happens to her. That’s also why upwards of $600,000 recently made its way from Omar’s campaign account into her new husband’s personal account. No worries from the FBI.

But when a nearly 70-year-old Jewish woman demonstrated at the West Virginia state Capitol with a sign protesting Omar, refugees and their connection to terrorism, as Brenda Arthur did in 2018, she was investigated by a federal Fusion Center in her state. [See Fusion Center controversy continues to swirl amid strange probe of anti-Islam activist, by Leo Hohmann, March 23, 2018]

“These people [like Omar and Tlaib] are getting top security briefings and are against what our country stands for. No polygraphs, no investigations into their financial dealings,” the DHS source said. “They are in touch with people in Palestine and have direct ties to them. It’s just absolutely mind blowing. You ask what’s the Bureau doing? They are going after these dumb white supremacists working out of a garage, while these others are actually doing crimes and getting a free pass, and now they’re also extorting millions from corporations or they’re going to drag their names through the mud.”

He described BLM leaders as “flat out communist and Marxist trained they don’t even hide it. The media doesn’t even cover that, and our corporations that have thrived on capitalism are now caving to them. Our police departments are taking a knee to them.”

Not only have the Marxists and the Muslim Brotherhood assets infiltrated U.S. law enforcement, but the LGBTQ community also has prioritized this segment of America’s institutions. Some of their accomplishments can be found at Police 1, a police academy and tracker of law-enforcement news.

So, after almost four years of President Trump in the White House, the federal law enforcement community in most major American cities is still run by non-political appointees devoted to the Democrat Party platform.

“These are the people who run the actual agencies on the ground, so it doesn’t matter what Chad Wolf the presidential appointee does, they just wait it out,” the DHS insider said. “So unless Trump gets another term and someone really learns how the day-to-day operations work, you’re not going to see a really drastic change.”

Any conservatives working in these agencies, especially if they are Christian, have been marginalized by the liberal majority.

“They’re hoping Trump doesn’t get re-elected and are afraid if he gets a second term their days are numbered,” the insider told me. “Because he is starting to get it and wants to clean this up.

“We actually did nothing under the Obama administration but he knew how to infiltrate the system and change it out.”

He said right now the federal agencies are stacked with incompetent agents who were hired more as a notch on a diversity program than for their qualifications. Many can’t even write a substantial investigative report, the source said.

“We need to hire the most qualified so we can get people who know how to write, and testify in court, so we can actually take down a Mexican drug cartel,” he said. “We have people in for years and will never do a federal case because they don’t have the brain capacity to do a federal case, and now we’re stuck with thousands of these people in the federal government. My typical report is 75 pages and these people can’t even write one page, and that was all done under Obama, you would not believe the people we hired. We call it federal welfare. People hired from a $30,000 a year job and now they are going to be paid $100,000 or more for doing nothing.”

On paper, the FBI still has very high standards but the required qualifications get abused in favor of diversity.

“You walk into some of these offices and look around the room and there’s not a white guy in the room and they’re all talking about white supremacy, and suddenly you feel very uncomfortable,” he said. “They throw the gay pride, LGBTQ in our face. Why does this have to be on my banner for a whole month, even under this administration? I don’t understand this big push with this small minority and how powerful they’ve become in this nation.”

The hard left, the Marxists, have already taken California, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota and New York. They’re working on Texas, Georgia and the Carolinas.

“People say ‘oh let them have California and Oregon,’ but it doesn’t stop there,” the agent said. “It’s a cancer; they don’ like that people in South Carolina are God-fearing so they need to move there and take that too. It’s not going to stop until they have it all.”

The majority of U.S. attorneys are also liberals, he said.

“Obama put so many U.S. attorneys in place. Trump has also appointed many, but are they pushing the Trump agenda? No, these guys don’t want to take on conservative immigration cases. They want high-powered jobs out of government and they know high profile immigration cases will quash that opportunity for them. They are not willing to risk their afterlife. They’re all looking for post-government careers.”

The last thing they want is to have the label “arch conservative” or “far right” attached to their names after they leave office and are looking for a job in the private sector.

Eyes are starting to open now as the Democrats’ failed impeachment was immediately followed up by an overreaction to a coronavirus that came out of China, and then one bad cop in Minneapolis touched off rioting and militant leftist assaults like this nation has not seen in more than 50 years. It is becoming apparent to more and more sleepwalking Americans that what is going on has nothing to do with the death of George Floyd or public health in the face of a flu-like virus, and everything to do with raw power.

In short, Obama’s street fighters remain in all the important positions in the intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

Trump thought he could come in and act as any other Republican president and change things back. He ran into a buzz saw in the form of Obama’s bureaucracy.

He knew that Washington was ruled by a “swamp” of corrupt politicians and dirty bureaucrats, but he had no idea just how deep and wide that swamp stretched. It is not just in Washington, it is global and it is local, reaching from the United Nations down to every city in the United States.

Trump is paying the price now for underestimating his enemy and using conventional political tactics when he is up against an enemy that will stop at nothing to defeat him and his agenda of turning back the clock on globalism.

That’s why the riots continue to rage on and the Trump Justice Department has made only a few dozen arrests of low-level rioters. Not a single arrest of anyone funding the riots has been announced.

In March of this year, when the coronavirus was imported from China followed by George Floyd’s death in May, the Democrats launched an all-out war that moved from the political realm of impeachment to the combat realm in the streets. It’s only going to get worse unless President Trump finds his war-time consigliere.

[If readers have any suggestions of who Trump should pick for his war-time consigliere, feel free to add them in the comments section of this article.]

  1. @ stevenl:
Steven, I agree with you more than I do with Hohman.

I was in the military, as were many Trump supporters. One thing I knew instinctively there, is that it wasn’t my job to tell the officers how to run things. I was interested in trying to change the COUNTRY, with what vestige of a civilian life I still had; but the military has a chain of command for a damned good reason: It gets the job done.

I am thankful that the US has NOT become a great mob, run by godfathers. This is the picture of my country that our enemies are busy trying to paint. President Trump is not a mobster; he is, by God’s power and wisdom, the most powerful person in the world; and he knows it.

  2. Do it the legal way!
Antifa and BLM are being investigated!
The real problem is the GOP leadership that has colluded with the other side (Paul Ryan. Mc Cain are 2 examples)! Today the rhinos and nevertrumpers!
It all started in the early 90ties!
