Christianity and the Holocaust

This site is very impressive.  Each one of the links takes you to a world in itself.  I refer you to Historical killings for Christianity.  Ted Belman

By Mark Humphries

The Holocaust did not come out of nowhere. It was not a random choice that the Jews were selected as the targets. The Holocaust was the climax of a thousand years of killing and persecution by the Christians.

The belief of the German people in national socialism is surely a warning against belief systems in general, and a reminder of the value of scepticism. I fear, unfortunately, that this is not a very widely drawn lesson.

  1. Nobody can tell me that Fascism is not a key issue for Jews yet nobody above offers any light. Antisemitism is NOT Fascism. So what destroyed 6 millions of your people is not discussed. Where do YOU stand on this Yamit82?

  2. Define Fascism

This is very difficult! But I am certain that this article by Mark Humphries is very wrong on this issue. For Humphries a Fascist is somebody evil, and that leads to who he or public opinion or the BBC thinks or says is evil.

    That becomes totally subjective.

The key to an understanding of Fascism is to read the analyses of Trotsky. Not Marx. Why not because fascism was not a term in the time of Marx

This affirms the approach of Trotsky that Fascism was located inside the decline of capitalism.

yamit is closer to Humphries than he is to me. This is because both stay clear of an understanding of capitalism as an historical human phenomenon, it had a beginning,a high point and a decline

  3. @ Samuel Fistel:

“Christianity was invented by greek pagans, and was originally written in Greek for other greek pagans.

Although it is obvious that christianity is a pagan Hellenistic savior mystery religion derived from Greco-Roman mythology, the christians keep on telling their big lie and insisting that christianity directly evolved from Judaism. For example:

that the man-god is himself divided into part man and part god, that his human mother was conceived without original sin, was an “eternal virgin” despite giving birth to the man-god, and was resurrected when she died to become a type of pagan goddess.”

Herakles: (Hercules) was conceived by Alcmene, the wife of Amphitryon, king of Thebes, while Amphitryon was away. Alcmene was not deliberately being unfaithful. Rather, the king of the gods, Zeus, had disguised himself as Amphitryon and had sexual relations with her. Zeus extended the night so that it was much longer than normal. In the course of the night Amphitryon returned. As a result of Amphitryon’s also having sexual relations with Alcmene in that extended night, Alcmene gave birth to twin boys Hercules and Iphicles.

Hercules’ Greek name Herakles (or Heracles) means “glory of Hera.” In addition, Hera suckled Hercules, and she spurred him to greatness, but the general picture of Hera is that she was Hercules’ enemy while he remained a mortal.

Mithraism, like Christianity, offers salvation to its adherents. Mithras was born into the world to save humanity from evil. Both figures ascended in human form, Mithras to wield the sun chariot, Christ to Heaven. The following summarizes the aspects of Mithraism that are also found in Christianity.

“Mithras, the sun-god, was born of a virgin in a cave on December 25, and worshipped on Sunday, the day of the conquering sun. He was a savior-god who rivaled Jesus in popularity. He died and was resurrected in order to become a messenger god, an intermediary between man and the good god of light, and the leader of the forces of righteousness against the dark forces of the god evil.”

< When Osiris is said to bring his believers eternal life in Egyptian Heaven, contemplating the unutterable, indescribable glory of God, we understand that as a myth.

When the sacred rites of Demeter at Eleusis are described as bringing believers happiness in their eternal life, we understand that as a myth. >>

<< In fact, when ancient writers tell us that in general ancient people believed in eternal life, with the good going to the Elysian Fields and the not so good going to Hades, we understand that as a myth.

When Scipio Africanus (Scipio Africanus, for Christ's sake) is described as the Son of God, born of a mortal woman, we understand that as a myth.

Jesus in the 3d century, healing the sick by touching them with a magic wand!

So how come when Jesus is described as
    the Son of God,
    born of a mortal woman,
    according to prophecy,
    turning water into wine,
raising girls from the dead, and
healing blind men with his spittle,
and setting it up so His believers got eternal life in Heaven contemplating the unutterable, indescribable glory of God, and off to Hades—er, I mean Hell—for the bad folks…
how come that's not a myth?

And how come, in a culture with all those Sons of God, where miracles were science, where Heaven and Hell and God and eternal life and salvation were in the temples, in the philosophies, in the books, were dancing and howling in street festivals, how come we imagine Jesus and the stories about him developed all on their own, all by themselves, without picking up any of their stuff from the culture they sprang from, the culture full of the same sort of stuff?

answers to these questions by looking at what ancient people wrote about ancient religion. What the ancient evidence will show you is that ancient western culture had conventional ideas about Gods and their powers and place in the universe. Christianity adopted those ideas.

Ancient Pagans believed in various levels of divinity, with miraculous powers, coming down and going up to its home in the sky. Divine beings cared about people, listened to and answered their prayers. Gave them the power to prophesy. Even gave them a better deal in the eternal life that comes after death.

Christianity is a product of it's time and place. Christianity is an ancient Pagan religion.

The Holocaust of the Jews can only be understood from the standpoint of understanding Fascism, and this is what the writer cannot actually do. So the method of Humphries is heaps of information but all leading to the defence of capitalism, WHICH IS THE CAUSE OF FASCISM IN THE FIRST PLACE

    Define Fascism???

    This should be good. 😛

  5. Christianity as the “real” Judaism: deceitfully using the trees to distract from the Jewish forest

Christianity claims to be the “real” Judaism; that christianity has replaced Judaism, that the Torah is invalid and has been replaced by the “new testament”, and that the Jews are devils who will burn in hell for eternity for rejecting and killing the christian man-god.

Christianity was invented by greek pagans, and was originally written in Greek for other greek pagans.

Although it is obvious that christianity is a pagan Hellenistic savior mystery religion derived from Greco-Roman mythology, the christians keep on telling their big lie and insisting that christianity directly evolved from Judaism. For example:

Judaism says that HaShem is One, indivisible, and beyond time, space, and matter. Christianity says that god is three separate gods, or a “three-in-one god” (called father, son and something referred to as the “holy ghost”); that the man-god is himself divided into part man and part god, that his human mother was conceived without original sin, was an “eternal virgin” despite giving birth to the man-god, and was resurrected when she died to become a type of pagan goddess. That’s all pagan, as well as their turning their human “saints” into minor gods represented by idols which you pray to.

Judaism says that Hashem created men, and that He Himself is something far beyond humanity. The Torah directly tells us “G-d is not a man, and is not a “son of man (adam)”. Taking a man and deifying him after death, as the christians do, is pagan.

The “virgin birth” is pagan. It is based on a mistranslation of the original Hebrew into Greek. The gods coming down to earth and having sex with human women who then give birth to man-gods, is a common pagan theme. In Judaism, if you do not know who the biological father is, then the child is illegitimate with no tribal standing. Adopting someone else’s son as your legal heir, is pagan and unknown to Judaism.

Human sacrifice (“he died for your sins”) is pagan. It is forbidden in Judaism (Do not give your children to Molech). Another person being killed for your own sins is pagan. In Judaism “Each man will be put to death for his own sins”.

Drinking blood is absolutely forbidden in Judaism. It is a pagan practice (“This is my blood. Drink it”.)

So how did this idol-worshipping, polytheistic, pagan religion, featuring man-gods, human sacrifice, and ritual human cannibalism, get to claim to be “the real Judaism”. Simple enough: for two thousand years, they killed any Jew who said so, after raping his wife and daughters, and stealing all his possessions. And now, Jews are so used to being beaten, that they are still afraid to state simple, obvious Jewish truths out loud.

The article by Mark Humphrys is fine but he may have missed the worst statement of the Church (in my opinion). It is from the Handbuch der religiosen Gegenwartsfragen (The German Catholic “Handbook of Contemporary Religious Questions”) page 536, published in 1937. It had to have the imprimatur of the Vatican. I do not have a URL but my email is given if there is any interest in the quotation.
