  1. I wonder if she could pull people from the left. She’s too young to serve as MK but not to be a minister which is her plan. She’s 20 and has a degree in computer science like Shaked which she completed in 2 1/2 years.

  2. Interesting. I can see why she sees Shaked as her competition.

What is your opinion on religion and state, public transportation on Shabbat, annexation of territories or legalization?

“We are in favor of legalization, but a referendum should be held on it. And as for everything else, I am in favor of holding a referendum on everything. Either at the municipal level or at the national level. Why should the corrupt politicians in the Knesset decide for us?”

  3. Have to say I’ve been wondering if the elephant in the room nobody is talking about that makes these polls make no apparent sense precisely the issues she is raising: cost of living and housing.

  4. Found something. Sounds like a drop in the bucket, though and reducing the defense budget seems foolish. If the land sold would come out of the JNF, that seems unwise.

Is she just another ditzy GenZ “Community Organizer” with Charisma, looks and organizing skills?

Somebody should do a comedy skit putting her in a room with AOC and Greta Thunberg. 😀

Belying many wild rumors about his whereabouts after returning home after the SCO summit in Samarkand, Chinese President Xi Jinping was seen at the Great Hall of People on Friday evening.

The next morning Xi Jinping was leading the Martyrs’ Day grand and impressive ceremony in Beijing. Top officials and the military brass accompanied him. The Martyrs’ Day celebration was a splendid spectacle of serenity, discipline, and dedication befitting a respectful event.

The Communist Party of China is preparing for this month’s National Congress, which will decide on the unprecedented third term of President Xi.

The gala’s twin functions coming days ahead of the National Congress could also be a show of solidarity as the entire top Chinese leadership was seen on the occasions.

Many former members of the Politburo, the Communist Party’s 25-strong decision-making body, also attended the Great Hall of the People function. However, the retired members were not to be seen among the gathering

The AMA is a wholly corrupt and completely evil institution which should be stripped of its authority as well as its assets, while its leadership should be imprisoned for reckless and deliberate malfeasance. They are responsible for the deaths of countless lives around the world and untold numbers of people survive their misguidance only to suffer with significant health dilemmas as a consequence to their hazardous duplicity, willful endangerment and their ‘enlightened’ policy of doing harm.

  17. Published 90 min ago by Jenifer ZengIs Xi Jinping Under Arrest After Military Coup? Three Senior Anti-Xi Officials Sentenced to Death
It sounds like there was an attempted coup (maybe) in China and that it failed (maybe) but Xi has not been seen since returning to China and was not present at a “Seminar on National Defense and Military Reform” where he should have been seen, and that none of the significant speakers referenced Xi in their speeches. Addtionally, a general who had been believed to have been removed from his position a couple of weeks ago was seen as being present in this meeting. There is more, but the tea leaves seem to have mixed signals. What seems not to be contradicted, however is that Xi has not been seen since returning to China.

  18. Is this real??
Report: Chinese President Xi Jinping Under Arrest, As 80 KM Long Line of Military Vehicles Heads to Beijingstrong>

Update: 9.24.22: Jennifer Zheng now says her family knows a PLA admiral, who confirms that Xi has been removed as head of the Central Military Commission. However, the admiral apparently denies that Xi has been removed as President or Chairman of the CCP, so far.

9.23.22 Multiple reports say that the CCP Congress did not go well for Xi Jinping. Rumor has it that he is under arrest, as an 80 kilometer long column of armored vehicles moves into position in Hebei province, just West of Beijing. That’s a 50 mile line of armored vehicles.

“Something is up in #China. The rumors remind us, once again, that the country is volatile and very few outsiders know what happens in senior #CCP circles. Stay tuned for announcements, news, info, rumors, tidbits, and gossip.” @gordonchang, 12:45 pm PST on Friday.

Chang retweeted Theresa Fallon, a US professor of Central Asian studies: “Rumors are swirling across the internet of a military coup in China and that Xi Jinping is under arrest after CCP seniors removed him as head of the PLA. Is the massive cancellation of flights in China just a military exercise, or is there something more to it?” @theresaafallon.

Here is a tweet from an ordinarily reliable reporter, Jennifer Zeng ??@jenniferatntd: “#PLA military vehicles heading to #Beijing on Sep 22. Starting from Huanlai County near Beijing & ending in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, entire procession as long as 80 KM. Meanwhile, rumor has it that #XiJinping was under arrest after #CCP seniors removed him as head of PLA.”

    https://twitter.com/jenniferatntd/status/1573322602784980993?s=20&t=_599qCkwjFqs3KGVj-lW8Q

The rumors have been circulating for about 24 hours. It’s interesting that Xi Jinping has not appeared publicly to deny them, as one might expect.

The National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party is taking place in Beijing. President Xi was seeking a third 5 year term as President and head of the PLA. He has not been popular recently, due to Covid lockdowns in cities such as Shanghai.

CCP is the Chinese Communist Party, which has ruled mainland China with an iron fist since 1949. The CCP Party Congress meets every five years to elect new leadership. They are gathered in Beijing this week, and definitely have the authority to remove Xi under the Country’s one party system.

PLA stands for “People’s Liberation Army,” the Chinese army. China has 1,500,000,000 people, easily the world’s largest population and more than the population of Europe and the US combined. The world’s largest army by number of soldiers, the PLA steps in to “restore order” when stability in the autocracy that is China, seems to be failing.

Patel Patriot is reporting that the author of this report, Jennifer Zheng, was the first to report that Dong Jing-Wei had defected to the US last year. He states that it is still unconfirmed, though.

I just noticed that I had not seen an article by Rabbi Prof. Dov Fischer in some time, and after a quick inquiry, I found a recent article by him explaining his absence has been due to recent health issues. Apparently, he had been hospitalized for five months, but is now returning to “resume publishing thoughts that differ from those of Bernie Sanders/George Soros/Jonathan Greenblatt and his Anti-Defamation League Obama acolytes” as he describes it.

A Bit About Me and My Recent Absence and Stuff

  20. @HONEYBEE-

Thank you very much for the youtube items. I enjoyed them. I see Marion Harris was holding a banjo Uke. I have a couple of them. I used to play and sing to my children when they were very young. ….memories…Ah..!!

Fanny Brice and “My Man”… heart rending. A very favourite of mince since I saw “Rose of Washington Square” with Alice Faye, Tyrone Power and Al Jolson. I’ve seen it several times.

Your political news is a real cheering-upper. Texas is indeed different from the rest of the country, likely stemming from It’s Independence as a State, The Alamo, it’s defeat of Santa Ana (including capturing his “leg) and the story of The Texas Rangers, all of which I am intimately acquainted with.

    Thank you again, indeed. ..!!

  21. Edgar . Carido, Abbot is a shue in, especially after bussing immigrants to Northern cities. Beto wants to take gun from Texans, not a winning policy. The Hispanic community of South Texas is returning to it’s conservative roots. The immigrant influx has become a horror. Mass graves, drownings, are never mentioned by Washington. I would describe political mood as a slow-burning anger.

  22. @PELONI-

Yes I believ she was as most top stars were at some time or other. I was just looking at her Wiki blurb, What a tragic life, it sees that most of the top stars, especially the female singers had similar lifestyles and results.

By coincidence seeing that her “theme song” was “Shine on Harvest Moon’. I have a recording of this actually sung by the composer Nora Bayes (Goldberg). And Jack Norworth. It is one sided and likely produced the same year as the composition. A collector’s item no doubt.
My beloved mother used to sing that song, which is when I first heard it.

I also have Layton and Johnstone singing “I’m Alone because I love you”.
Their harmony was superb, and a real sentiment making rendition.
They include the verse, which often is omitted by others.

  23. @Edgar
After Youve Gone was a great piece, but it’s better by Ruth Etting than anyone else, IMO . Haven’t heard it in decades, but I still remember it. Great song. She was a Ziegfield star wasn’t she?

  24. @HONEYBEE-

Astonished that you could dig this up. I don’t think it’s funny, Harris is a Jew, and you know that in those days, the way a Yid progressed to make a living he used the pervading Jew disdain which pervaded the whole world to poke fun at himself, in a broken accent.. They all did it, starting in Vaudeville, except Gershwin, and top calibre like him. Jack Benny started in Vaudeville messing around with the violin, which he actually was very good at. And were very popular too. Swedes did it, Blacks too, and any ethnicity which perceived that they were figures of fun to the redneck Americans, who mainly liked to laugh-at others..

Many of the early song writers and lyricists were Jews or negros. A VERY fine example of the latter was Turner Layton, a wonderful composer and performer. I met him many years ago backstage in Dublin. A most dignified and utterly friendly person. “After you’ve Gone”, which you should listen to, sung for a 1930s female vocalist, is a prime example of some of his work, and a personal favourite of mine; I like the tune and set-up. I don’t care about words except when they impact the performance. .

Listen to Ruth Etting, or Marion Harris doing it. It pulls at your heartstrings.

I see that boasting of expertise in “Free Cell” (A Microsoft Solitaire Collection game) is going around. Far be it for me to boast like that, but I am a Diamond Grand Master in Free Cell, with a 98% record in “Medium” and a Diamond Grand Master in “Spider” “Random”. Bronze, Silver and Gold Grand Master (Random) in 3 other Solitaire games.. I’m pretty fed up with it by now.

To be serious now…what’s going on in politics down yonder>>, How are the election fraud cases coming on. You are in th best position of all, being on the spot to know exactly what’s going on. You should ne regularly reporting on it, as youget all the LOCAL stuff on the screen.

This is when I first began to distrust Bennett who bayed with the chorus of wolves from the outset, and doubt Shaked who said she trusted the police after coming under fire for meeting with the parents of the defendants who had been denied any outside contact even with lawyer or parents!

  26. Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) would solve Israel’s deadlock. Republicans are starting to use it.

    https://spectator.org/gop-ranked-choice-voting/

Adams, the most conservative of the Democrat candidates, and a former Republican, endorsed by The Jewish Press, whose program was indistinguishable from that of the Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa except Sliwa was more liberal on animal rights, won this way in the last NY elections.

In a nutshell, instead of voting for one candidate or party, the voter chooses five in order of preference. In the absence of a clearcut majority, the voter can designate the order in which the lost otherwise lost votes we wil be redistributed.
