  1. @ Sebastien Zorn:

“To Serve Man” is episode 89 of the anthology series The Twilight Zone. It originally aired on March 2, 1962 on CBS. The story is based on the 1950 short story “To Serve Man”, written by Damon Knight. … The episode, along with the line “It’s a cookbook!” have become elements in pop culture.

It was my accidental discovery of all this garbage on the eve of the “Oslo War” in 2000 that played the biggest role in my transformation from Anti-Zionist Leftist to Right-Wing Zionist. I had been raised pro-Zionist, but as a Leftist, I became anti-Zionist in the late ’70s, believing all the lies. About a year before the Oslo, this is 1999, I was no longer anti-Israel but I supported TSS. Then, sometime that year… Wow! Talk about a paradigm shift to wrap one’s brain around. Eliminationist Anti-Semitism permeates every aspect, every cranny, every pore of that culture. Their Soviet-trained operatives hid that from us so well. You should have heard what Hana Ashrawi and Edward Said sounded like in the ’80s. You’d think they were just human rights activists with empathy for ordinary people, families, little kids, who just want peace and safety and maybe a crust of bread and a little national dignity. The tears just running down the sides of their faces. The information was there if you knew where to look but there was no internet. Just some out-of-print books in libraries with card catalogues. But Noam Chomsky’s books, and similar crap but he was and is the most influential, was in every bookstore prominently displayed. Well, they sure fooled us. What’s this generation’s useful morons’* excuse.

“Hamas to kids”. It’s a Micky Mouse interview show with kids who are talking about their ambitions to kill all the Jews when they grow up in an unscripted way. Little kids. Talking eagerly about murdering their Jewish neighbors.

This kind of thing makes even autonomy questionable. They belong in cages.

If future generations have any chance of being salvaged, the children must be removed from their parents at birth and adopted out to other cultures and needless to say, religions or philosophies in other countries. I would also have no problem with compulsory sterilization.

  4. @ honeybee:
Poverty doesn’t create terrorism. The poorest and most oppressed peoples on earth don’t have terrorists or even much crime. Look at Tibet. The Yazidis. That myth has been debunked over and over. And their lives have only improved economically and are better than any where else in the Middle East. It’s about ideology. Many of the terrorists are from middle or upper class backgrounds. It’s about anti-semitism. It’s about Muslim imperialism and racism. It’s us or them. There’s no middle ground. They are not criminals and terrorists because they are oppressed but because they are evil.

  9. Sebastien Zorn Said:

You evaded the question. Why do you care

    bout what??

Next time you send Gilbert & Sullivan please send Doyle-Carte only !!!!!!!!!!!! Care enough to send the best>

  10. @ honeybee:
You evaded the question, “Why do you care?” Which was your question to me. Or perhaps you meant something else when you asked me that. I care about whether they recognize our rights to our land because they have to make up reasons to attack. First comes the the lies, then the de-legitimization and only then the attacks. Even Hitler felt the need to invent pretexts. You know the story of his excuse for invading Poland, right? He took some Polish prisoners out of a concentration camp, killed them. Staged a mock assault and takeover of a German radio station with German troops dressed in Polish uniforms. Then staged it being taken back. Put the corpses dressed in Polish Uniforms — preserved on ice for the purpose — there and invited the international press.

I thought you meant why do I care about Israel, about our historical rights to the land, about what happens to our people. But, since I answered, you should too, since it is far from the norm. Most Jews do not have concern for Israel high on their list of voting priorities according to every poll. I really don’t see why Israelis need to bother to humor them. When they squeal about being alienated by this or that Israeli policy. Are they going there in solidarity with Amona or Sderot? Honestly, why should Israelis care what they want?

“It’s good to want things.” – “Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael” (1990) film.

As I have said before, I have opinions about all kinds of things but in national elections, solidarity with Israel is my sole criterion for voting.

  11. I never cared what other people say abut myself or Jews. My Mother was a hard headed Swede, a descendent of Vikings, never had truck with mystics Hindu or otherwise.

  12. @ honeybee:
Already answered that in triplicate. But once again, because I am a
Second-Generation-Jewish-Holocaust-Survivor/Resistance-Fighter/Rescuer. A Hindu mystic once told my mother that I was a Jew who did not survive the Holocaust in my last life-time but I wouldn’t know about that as I have no memory of it (I do have a few memories of other lifetimes I recovered through Past life therapy under hypnosis). I don’t believe in anything outside of my own experience, intuition or reason. Apart from local bread and butter issues, my only politics is “Never Again.” There was a time when I thought being a Leftist would accomplish that. Then I gradually realized it was just the opposite.

So, now your turn. Why do you care?

You can run with it in any direction you like but it’s relevant to me. Individuals and collectivities whether self-defined as religions, nations, peoples, movements, races, whatever, that spew that stuff don’t have rights in my book, all other things aside. No rights at all. Except to be expropriated and liquidated at the first opportunity.

  18. Sebastien Zorn Said:

I didn’t know about UN res. 80. He could have just said this and similar deliberations actually contradicts International Law and just quickly rattled off the numbers or not.

debaters cite all the latter resolutions so you get to argue resolutions… but IMO all the other ones are moot or satisfied or irrelevant or unenforceable… the prime directive is the charter affirming the contiuity of the rights. Everying come back to the simple phrase:
JEWISH SETTLEMENT IN JUDEA SAMARIA IS LEGAL AND LEGITIMATE”
everything else springs from that… the enemies cite the GC regarding Israelis, not Jews. The Jews fight it on the basis of Israel assuming those Jewish rights… which is then shot down by Israel applying occupation law to YS instead of Israel law. In the end it is the JEWS, world Jewry who have the rights of immigration and settlement… the state of Israel is as criminal as the UK and Jordan in the obstruction of Jewish rights. In this case then the state is in a conflict with the interests of world jewry in that land. the state appears to not want YS and will negotiate away the rights of world Jewry as if those rights now belong to them. what Israel should do if it does not want that land in its own state is to continue thee legal obligations of the mandate to settle non israeli world jewry in YS in the same way that britain and jordan were obligated likewise betrayed the mandate. I suggest an affirmative action program to mitigate past damage to world jewry of the settlement obstruction by britain jordan and israel modeled on the US homestead act of 1800’s… free land grants of state and vacant lands to diaspora jews who settle in YS outside the boundaries of Israel…in that way the GC is irrelevant and cannot be used as a red herring. After settlement, just like the mandate envisioned, the jews can decide on what they want… perhaps a state of judea or annexation or confederation. There is nothing in the mandate which states a single state succession… only land for jews.
In my model there is nothing the state of Israel need do other than observe mandate directives to immigrate and settle world jewry.

I am aware but they always dredge up any libels on Jews
the point was not to discuss the matzoh blood libel.. I was pointing out the the refusal of the leadership of Israel to state the legality and legitimacy of Jews living in Judea is as absurd as not disagreeing with the matzoh blood libel… I was not interested in veering off to the matzoh blood libel… I believe that the refusal to disagree with the settlement libels with a simple statement should be seriously looked at by israelis and Jews…. it indicates treason and betrayal to foreign interests at worst and absurd theatre at best.

I was referring to Bennett’s speech. I had your post consciously in mind, thank you. I didn’t know about UN res. 80. He could have just said this and similar deliberations actually contradicts International Law and just quickly rattled off the numbers or not. It’s not just his position is the point. And it’s not just our historical claim. The international community already evaluated and validated our historical claim. Why reinvent the wheel?

  23. @ Sebastien Zorn:
I wonder if BB would have said anything if instead of the world saying the Jews were illegal and illegitimate to settle in Judea the world was instead saying the Jews bake christian blood into matzoh….. for me it is the same blood libel and anyone saying it is a dishonest enemy trying to swindle and libel the jews, again.

  24. @ Sebastien Zorn:
I posted the same here right above you
    https://www.israpundit.org/archives/63620466#comment-63356000181935
    Sebastien Zorn Said:

why didn’t Bennett mention San Remo, League of Nations, UN Res 80, Treaty of Sevre, U.S. Congressional Resolution of 1922., 242 being satisfied by Sinai, etc. Balfour, the Agreement with Faizal?

because its too long and the gist would be lost in a legal maze of detailed explanation. But you are right:
Balfour recognized the Jewish historical homeland and right of return, the other treaties up through LON mandate codified those rights and put them in law, the UN charter art 80 reaffirm the continuation of those rights for the signatories of the UN. but Benett did, however small, what BB has never done, affirm the rights of Jews to Live in all of Israel
Bennett is more articlulate in carrying the message and BB is crude and confusing… always whining about peace and security and never the rights of Jews…. not Israelis.
    Sebastien Zorn Said:

Look at how shaky, disoriented and upset the interviewer looks when Bennett says, yes, he disputes the contention of the “international community” that there is an occupation.

I noticed the same thing…. but thats because the Israeli gov, the Israeli PM, the Israeli pres and the Israeli High Court have agreed with the lies of the international community because they have never protected those rights nor have they ever said
“JEWISH SETTLEMENT IN JUDEA SAMARIA IS LEGAL AND LEGITIMATE”
I wonder if Israeli Jews know that, outside of this forum… because I never hear Israeli Jews in outrage over their leaders never saying this. Of course, those Israeli Jews must neccessarily feel like immoral land thieves according to their leaders and courts who are supposed to represent their rights and interests. This is why I am not surprised that the political parties to the left of bennet dont mention it either.
If you own something you can give it away, if they own something you can take it and slap them down and say frack off, but if you feel guilty that you are a slimy land thief as reinforced daily by your leadership, then of course you would try to slink away with unilateral disegagement. If I was the arabs watching the Jews where half feel they are land thieves I would be chasing the jews back to europe in any combination of ways possible.

The Jews of israel believe the same narrative because all they seek is an end to war… not any rights, land or patrimony. Hence, the Jews have rendered irrelevant the whole legal basis which gave them tel aviv… the balfour declaration which recognized their heritage, patirimony and land. The Jews have rendered the whole story to be about security…. soon the world will tell them that they have arranged their security better now for them in Poland.

  25. “How dare anyone call the land of Israel occupied?

Good CNN interview but why didn’t Bennett mention San Remo, League of Nations, UN Res 80, Treaty of Sevre, U.S. Congressional Resolution of 1922., 242 being satisfied by Sinai, etc. Balfour, the Agreement with Faizal? The “international community” is represented by more than just some random vote which flies in the face of established international law. In addition to historical rights which it’s good he emphasized. Look at how shaky, disoriented and upset the interviewer looks when Bennett says, yes, he disputes the contention of the “international community” that there is an occupation. Liberals go bonkers and fall apart when anybody unabashedly refuses to validate their nutty version of reality.

    http://www.timesofisrael.com/zionist-union-calls-for-referendum-on-annexing-west-bank/

lets see if you come to their same conclusion from the actual “curiously worded” poll

A curiously worded survey published Friday claimed that 31 percent of Israelis support the annexation of the large settlement blocs in the West Bank, with a Palestinian state being established in the remaining areas, including East Jerusalem

30 percent of Israelis support a second option — “two states for two peoples,” establishing a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders,…

39 percent chose a third option — saying they were in favor of a “one-state for two peoples” solution, with Israel annexing the entire West Bank.

    http://www.timesofisrael.com/survey-indicates-31-of-israelis-support-annexing-settlement-blocs/

Gosh, my read is the opposite…
    only 30% support tss
over 69% support a minimum of annexing the large settlement blocks
39% choose annexing the whole west bank
but some where between 39-69% likely favor annexing area C which is not mentioned here because leftists like to leave out the most popular choice

Under Bennett’s plan, Israel would annex Area C, the 60% of the West Bank where Israel retains full security and civilian control and where most of the settlements are located. The Palestinians in the remaining territory would not be absorbed into Israel, but given expanded autonomy.

Judging from the spread of 39%-69% for area C my wager is that it would be over 50%… or that a majority of Israelis would annex C… a greater % of Jews would be for it.
LOL, whenever the left cites “facts” you can be sure they will twist it to their narrative
Furthermore, the poll is obviously skewed to 3 question to break annexation into two parts… more leftist dishonesty.

  28. Herzog crowd calls for referendum on Annexation:

Israel’s neo-Quisling “Zionist Union” claims that 60 percent of Israelis support two state solution, and only one third, annexation. The are therefore calling for a referendum. If that is true, which I doubt, giving away any part of the country in such a referendum would only be valid if it included all the Jews who have ever lived and will ever be born, and God, for those who believe he exists. Moreover, liberal Jews in Tel Aviv, if they are more numerous, demanding the right to decide for the whole country at the ballot box, is like liberals here demanding that the electoral college be abolished so California and New York can rule the entire country. These same hypocrites want to protect abortion from public accountability at the ballot box and are happy with Obama ruling by executive order. In Israel they are happy with the berserker liberal courts ruling.
