Here is my take on Trump’s sudden love of Russia and Putin and his total disdain for Ukraine and Zelensky – It is a huge CON meant to:
1) deceive Russia into thinking that the dawn of the new age of peace and coexistence has arrived, that the US has finally saw the reality of the multi polar world and has become a true ally;
2) sign a few agreements with Russia about disarmament, economic cooperation, etc., etc. – every one of these agreements will be unilaterally broken by the US when it suits the US;
3) sign the agreements to take over as much of Ukraine and its resources as possible;
4) get Ukraine and Russia to sign a peace treaty which will stop the Russian SMO and prevent it from achieving the SMO’s aims;
5) at the same time – have the EU arm itself to the teeth because of the “Russian threat to Ukraine and Europe” (probably with the US selling arms to the EU);
6) have the EU place tens of thousands of soldiers/peacekeepers in Ukraine as a bulwark against “the Russian threat to Ukraine and Europe” which is even better than Ukraine joining NATO;
7) once the arming of the proxies is complete after several years, attack the “colossus on clay feet” with the European proxies in order to finally take over Eurasia and, therefore, the world.
Well, someone who betrayed once, will betray a thousand times.

The bottom line for the left outside of Israel is hatred of the U.S. and support for anybody who opposes it. (In Israel it’s hatred of Netanyahu and anybody who is religious or challenges the fantasy of the TSS.) That’s what makes Felix and Reader’s support for Israel such an anomaly. Oh, well, no point in looking a gift horse in the mouth.

During WWII, Stalin’s government was the only game in town in Russia. And, even before, under Mikhoels’ direction, the Moscow State Theater managed to insert subtle criticisms of the government.

As for “Hogans Heroes” I called it a spoof, and that’s just what it was. If it was based on a true story, I’d bet money on it that it certainly was VERY loosely adapted, with many invented events.

It has only one line mentioning Jews but that’s a lot for 1946. It’s where he’s about to give up on his suspect and suddenly he wakes up in the middle of the night realizing that only a Nazi would say, as Welles’ character had at the dinner party the night before, that Marx wasn’t a German; He was a Jew.

I read the book and saw the movie based on it mentioned in the above article. Both end before he is sent to Auschwitz from which he enabled the escape of 400 Jews and sent reports to the British. He carried out these espionage and sabotage activities in every prisoner of war camp in which the Germans imprisoned him right under their noses and from which he repeatedly escaped. That’s why it’s all so light-hearted. Hogan’s Heros is really close to the movie, including some of the characters like the buffoonish Sergeant Schulz. Both movie and book have the same title, “The Password Is Courage.” The movie came out in 1963 and Hogan’s Heros ran from 1965-1971 and then in daily re-runs throughout the ’70s. I watched it when I was growing up. The producers of the 1950’s movie, “Stalag 17” sued the producers of Hogan’s Heros for plagiarism and lost. It was clearly based on “The Password is Courage” (1963). Not an American film, as the article states. It was a British film starring Dirk Bogarde. Amazon has the book in print or as ebook and Amazon Prime Video has the movie for rent or purchase as instant streaming. Both book and movie are inexpensive. I first read about him being honored in a Times of Israel article some years ago.
What bothers me about Kingsley Wilson is that she may be the face of the whole generation of young people, and neither the Pentagon nor the White House show any reaction to her ongoing antisemitic blurbs, and we know that silence is consent.

In the Russian Empire your religion (not the one of your parents) was stated in your passport, not your ethnicity, passports had no photos, and you certainly didn’t have to carry your passport with you at all times.
It was a very complicated system the purpose of which was to know who lives where and to make sure that they live where they were allowed or supposed to.
In the $U, after 1932 they started including ethnicity in passports and you didn’t have to carry your passport with you at all times.
The ethnicity of parents was stated in the $U only on birth certificates.
The last lynching in the US occurred in 1956, and discrimination in higher education against Jews persisted into the early 1970s.

They put so many Jewish doctors in prison, they had to release Stalin’s doctor from prison to treat him when he collapsed, that’s how many Jews were doctors.
