Sorry to disagree with you especially after such a nice Birthday Greeting…..but…..The US and the UK were NEVER one country.
In the interests of accuracy, and historical fact, The British only had a certain number of individual Colonies scattered IN Nth. America long before the US became a reality. Only along the East coast.
Nothing was known about the inland areas….except by Louis Lamour-of course….!!

Canada, as far as I know, belongs to the British Commonwealth.
It sure beats some lousy Sudetenland, though!
I find it really strange that the British Royal Family pays no attention to this rather unusual discussion (I don’t mean Israpundit).
Maybe they find it beneath themselves to do so.

Of course, some details will need to be worked out like taxation with representation only and such, and what to do with the Royal Family… do NOT consult the French on this issue!
