  1. Abedalelah Amaala spoke at my 2017 conference and last year on the Update.

He just tweeted on Sept 13

“The sunrise of the birth of the new Jordan is very close. Welcome and peace to the one Jordanian and Palestinian family to build the new Jordan. The new Jordan and the Kingdom of Israel together for the great heights.”

  2. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has determined that the two biggest counties in the state do not have to count mail-in ballots that have either the wrong date or no date where indicated on the outer envelope.

That’s an odd way to put it. It should have said “Can’t” rather than “do not have to”

    Here’s the link

The headline is “PA Supreme Court rules that misdated ballots must not be counted”

  3. Russia has motheunted a counter offensive in Kursk which is said to have taken as much as 10Km just on Tuesday. The counter offensive has been ongoing for the past 3 days

  4. Channel 13 reports tonight that the US administration “opposes the dismissal of Defense Minister Yoav Galant”, and that “the American aircraft carriers will not be able to stay in the area forever.” Additionally, the US is considering a possible deal with Hamas to release American hostages to try to put more pressure on Bibi.

  5. Peloni,

You asked, so here’s your answer:

You’ve been trumpeting an imaginary Russian victory for two years now, which somethow never manages to trickle down to reality. Why don’t you just admit you’ve been very wrong for a long time, and give it up.

  6. What is going on in Ukraine? Zel is conducting his own Saturday night Massacre with multiple dismissals amid on of the most challenging moments in the Ukraine war, and among the ministers in the massacre was none other than the Defense Minister who is said to be being replaced with a former member of the original peace negotiating team from Istanbul some six weeks into the war. It is said that the cause of the mass terminations/resignations is due to “new approaches being necessary”….So tell me how well things are going in Kursk one more time, please…anyone?

On the eve of the school year opening in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, a disturbing scene was discovered at the ‘Simcha Chabad’ Jewish school.

Security personnel discovered fragments that had fallen in the school complex and the community center nearby, following a night of heavy bombardment in the city.

Rabbi Mordechai Levenhertz, Chabad emissary in Kyiv, described the situation as a “great miracle.” He emphasized the critical timing of the event, which occurred moments before hundreds of students arrived at the school. “One cannot imagine what could have happened if this had occurred two hours later,” said Rabbi Levenhertz.

Despite the troubling event, around 200 students started the school year in the school and kindergartens. This is the 33rd cycle of the veteran educational institution, taking place under the shadow of two and a half years of ongoing fighting in Ukraine.

It is surprising to note that most parents chose to bring their children for the first day of school despite the previous night’s events. Officials from the JRNU Jewish educational network explained that “after two and a half years of unbearable explosions, the start of the school year conveys calmness and stability.”

The event in Kyiv is part of a broader picture. Across Ukraine, the school year opened in dozens of schools of the ‘Or Avner – Chabad’ network, where thousands of students study. During the war period, shelters and protected spaces were installed in all institutions, and students were trained to respond quickly to alarms.

During the past summer, many students participated in camps and summer camps that provided them with a brief respite from the complex reality in the country.

“This event highlights the challenging reality in which the Jewish education system in Ukraine operates, while trying to maintain a routine of studies under ongoing security threats,” said the local Chabad.

  9. Netanyahu, hostages, ceasefires, and Leftists
Yes, the demonstrators are killing their loved ones. If those demonstrators were guided by wisdom, they instead would be marching with signs reading “Flatten Gaza,” “Nuke Hamas,” “Victory,” “No Ceasefire,” and “Make Sinwar into a Real Woman.” Opinion.

In today’s Arutz Sheva. Doesn’t give you a link to the article if it’s the same day. Well balanced and spot on article. One section is hilarious, as well. First rate satire.

“They project their own craziness onto him. They assume illogical motives and convince each other. Their most popular projection: Bibi is wantonly extending the timeline of the Gaza war, causing hostage deaths, solely to avoid being put on trial, and he is adding Hezbollah in Lebanon and Fatah and Hamas in Jenin and Tul Karm, all to delay going on trial.

‘In a way, their concern has a strong basis in American history. They can point to how George Washington could have won the American Revolution against England in one month but dragged it out for years to avoid being tried for receiving cigars and champagne. Abraham Lincoln could have won the Civil War in a month but instead dragged it out for nearly five years from 1861-1865 because he wanted to avoid being indicted for receiving cigars and champagne, and he would not let it wind down until he was safely within a month of getting assassinated, thereby avoiding prosecution. Franklin Roosevelt could have won World War II in three weeks but dragged it on almost four years from December 7, 1941 until, upon dying in April 1945, he finally was safe from being indicted for accepting cigars and champagne. With FDR safe from cigar-champagne prosecution, Truman dropped the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs four months later — all finished. So there is ample history behind the Left’s conspiracy theory.”

    😀

  10. For every hostage who dies, 100 terrorists should be executed in their cells promptly. But, the left wing court an Attorney General won’t allow this, which is why they should be stripped of their powers.

  11. One of six hostage bodies recovered was an American cititizen. It is being reported that they were all murdered just shortly before the IDF recovered their remains.

  12. On the other hand, I’m also reminded of the lines, “You guys got cheated. This is a pretty crummy cigar.” (Cuba)
“That’s ok, we sell pretty them crummy rockets.” from “One Two Three”. Billy Wilder, I.A.L. Diamond adapted from the one act play by Ferenc Molnar. 1961, one year before the Cuban missile crisis.

  13. This marks a shift from the IDF Ground Forces’ recent preference for Chinese drones. The IDF ordered thousands of drones from SZ DJI Technology and Autel Robotics, two Chinese companies blacklisted by the U.S. Department of Defense, due to urgent needs in the current Gaza conflict. However, this dependence on Chinese drones poses security risks and could be problematic if China, an ally of Iran, Russia, Qatar and Hamas, decides to restrict component sales.

Chinese drones also face operational challenges on Israel’s northern front, where Hezbollah uses the DJI AeroScope detection platform to identify and locate them. Recognizing these issues, the IDF aims to support the Israeli drone industry for long-term strategic advantage.

    https://www.jewishpress.com/news/business-economy/israel-shifts-gears-20000-homegrown-drones-on-the-horizon/2024/08/31/

This just floored me. So, China is buying Iran’s oil and selling drones to Israel while Iran is selling drones to Russia which sells weapons to Syria. Politically, of course, China supports all of Israel’s enemies, as do the other two.

“All’s fair in war and trade?” 😀

  14. @Michael You said open primaries led to Democrat dominance even though the voting population was evenly split.
