GAZA CEASEFIRE OVER!!
Prime Minister’s Office Statement:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have instructed the IDF to act forcefully against the terrorist organization Hamxs in the Gaza Strip.
This decision comes after Hamxs repeatedly refused to release our hostages and rejected all proposals presented by U.S. President’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, and other mediators.
At this moment, the IDF is striking Hamxs targets across the Gaza Strip to achieve the war’s objectives as set by the political leadership, including the release of all our hostages—both the living and the fallen.
From this point forward, Israel will escalate its military operations against Hamxs with increasing intensity.
The operational plan was presented by the IDF last weekend and has been approved by the political leadership.
So far Israel has fought in Gaza in some degree in kid gloves – NO napalm and NO tear gas. If the fighting is to resume in Gaza the IDF should take plenty of tear gas grenades as used against rioters elsewhere and drop them into the tunnel manholes and other entries. There is no breeze in the tunnels to disperse the tear “gas” which is actually a powder of irritants and it will lie about making Hamas re -use of the tunnels even more unpleasant than usual.
As for the misuse of civil buildings by Hamas consider the use of flame throwers whether vehicle mounted or backpack. It does not so much damage the structures but it does deal with any people and their belongings lurking in buildings out of view . This was regular Allied practice in Europe and the Pacific in WW II especially in the last two years of that war.
Israel should have stormed Rafah Oct 7 night. Hamas should not be given such a display facility. Never forget that none of the Regimes tried to save the hostages.
