This week the CDC published data that only 6% of all the 153,504 COVID-19 deaths recorded listed COVID-19 as the sole cause of death.
That’s 9,210 deaths
The other 94% had on average 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.
Some of these people would probably be COVID-19 case deaths, but 94%? I don’t think so.
Comorbidities
Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death. The number of deaths with each condition or cause is shown for all deaths and by age groups. For data on comorbidities,
@ Adam Dalgliesh:
Someone noticed a while ago that when MDs go on strike, the number of death drops dramatically.
Is it possible that the stoppage of many medical procedures and “non-essential” office visits because of the coronavirus “overwhelm” actually contributed to the amazingly low overall mortality rate this year?
This should reassure the entire US population.
Only people at risk need to be protected!!!

The author, Dr. Colleen Huber, pulled the article you referenced on August 13.

Her followup article from August 28 is interesting:

Accordin to Gateway pundit’s summary of the full CDC report, an amazing 90 per cent of the deaths attributed to COVID-19 occurred in nursing homes. Of course the overwhelming all people living in nursing homes are suffering from serious illnesses that long predate the first reported cases of COVID-19.
A web site called primarydoctor.com. published by the association of state-licenced naturepathic physicians, has published an article on August 10 that compared the total deaths reported by the CDC through July with the number of deaths over the past twenty years for the same time period. The author, a Dr Huber. discovered that 2020 has had the second lowest number deaths for the first seven months of the year tfor the last twenty years. Dr. Huber points out that these results are not compatible with the occurrance of a pandemic.
