The vatican it’s reported in return is willing to pay some of it’s unpaid taxes amounting to hundreds of millions of $$$$ mostly the the hard-pressed municipality of Jerusalem. We are required to pay them or bribe them to get what is due us under our laws.

I often said Israel needs a super PR program to overcome the lies, innuendos and false accusations levied against Israelis.
World opinion is orchestrated by the liberal left anti-Semite media not by truth.
I considered this to be a muddled speech which was unfocused and not up to her standard; not prepared in detail as many of her writings are. She spent too much time offering questionable reasons for US jews anti Israel stance which deflects focus by making the listener think about the reasons. I rather think she needed to more convincingly obligate the US jewish audience to action against BDS and exhorting them to specific action to pressure jewish institutions.
I think that, generally, more should be made about the betrayal of jews supporting and believing narratives which libel and smear the jewish people. To do this it must be clear that their assertions are libelous lies and darkly evil. More should be made of the lies, and media complicity with those lies, to educate the jewish diaspora and the israeli citizens. The question should be “why should jews believe those lies”; Jews would not naturally gravitate to the notion of Jews committing evil so why do they believe that Israel commits the evil which is attributed to them. The lies need to be debunked and the reality of media conspiracy elevated. Jews, and especially jewish institutions, must abandon trust and confidence in institutions which smear and libel Israel. Perhaps Israel should begin a campaign, traveling jewish institutions and on campuses, which give examples of the way in which these libels are intentionally supported and maintained. Right now those jews believe more confidently in the evil israeli than in the evil media.
However, I thought her rendition of her trip to Shiloh was extremely inspiring and suggests another route to solidarity between diaspora jews and Israelis. Her referring to the Jewish people as the indigenous people reconstituting their homeland and the importance of that heritage to the entire jewish community should be explored regarding the importance of YS to all Jews. Interestingly, the “pals” did not come into the picture. this is as it should be as the aspirations of the jewish people in Israel and yS cannot be diluted by the aspirations of those who befitted from the 2000 year pogrom and exile.
