The black smoke rising above southern Beirut came from a big explosion caused by a car bomb, which killed people Tuesday in the Hizballah stronghold district of Dahya. DEBKAfile: The car bomb blew up at a Hizballah office building in the Sir al-Abd quarter next door to a Shiite mosque and a technical school which were also hit. There are no further details about the number of casualties but they are believed to be considerable.
I can’t say I feel sorry for what’s happened to Nasrallah’s boys. You play with dynamite, expect to get burned.
