Joe Biden has a 14-point lead over US President Donald Trump ahead of the November election as some Republican-leaning voters reproach Trump for his response to the coronavirus crisis, a poll showed Wednesday.
In one of Trump’s worst poll showings for the 2020 race, the Democrat Biden garnered 50 percent of the vote compared with 36% for the president, according to a survey by the New York Times and Siena College.
Recent polls have found Biden 10 points ahead of the president on average.
Biden has built up a big lead among women, African Americans and Latinos, the new poll said.
He has also drawn even with Trump among male voters, whites and people middle aged or older, who tend to vote Republican, the newspaper added.
The report said Trump is losing support among a striking cross section of voters after his administration fumbled in its response to the pandemic, which has crippled the economy and killed over 120,000 Americans.
Trump’s tough law-and-order stance during a national reckoning over racial injustice and police brutality against minorities has also apparently cost him.
The poll found Trump’s support sharply down among voters that Republicans tend to rely on — whites with college degrees.
The Times said the poll of 1,337 registered voters was carried out from June 17 to 22. It did not specify the margin of error.
Trump might nonetheless take heart in the fact that the election is more than four months away. In the 2016 vote, Hillary Clinton led in the polls throughout the campaign and ended up losing the election.

@ andyoistins:
Hi, Andy
It certainly was a BS poll, grossly undercounting Republicans. Even so, I’m noit counting out the Dems. They are using outright ballot-stuffing, false registrations, classical brown-shirt tactics and misuse of judges and governments to try to steal the election; and their lying propaganda is incessant.
If Trump loses, it will be unusual, and if he loses by a small margin, it will be almost unheard of. Correction: There were 5 presidents who served one term; JFK, Nixon, Ford, Carter, and Bush, Sr. However, only 2 out of the 12 presidents since FDR was elected for the first time out of 4 elections in 1933, ran twice and lost the second time, Carter and Bush, Sr. Carter lost by a landslide. Almost every state voted against him. Reagan won 489 electoral votes to Carter’s 49. In 1992, Clinton won against Bush, Sr. 370 to 168, again by a landslide.
The cv-19 crises was handled by the Adm state, totally controlled by the dems!!! This led to many deaths in blue states because the media, governors and mayors were INEPT.
Yet they all blame their incompetence on the President.
Media are pushing and pushing propaganda/disinformation the Goebbels way!
For the dems to win, they will have to CHEAT!
Liberal Jews will make antisemitism more fashionable!
@ Michael S:
yet another bullshit poll just like 2016 having the wicked witch of the west beating Trump
Ted your new system of robot not is too much! 5 tests for one comment??
Trump can win but he has to win all toss up States according to UV Center for Politics.

They also predicted Hillary by a landslide. I’m not worried.
@ Sebastien Zorn:As in 2016, the Democrats are clearly trying to skew polls in their favor but does it really help them? Has anybody done a study examining the relationship between optimism and voter turnout? Are voters more or less likely to turn out if they perceive their candidate to be losing? Seems there is a giant assumption that people always vote for the likely victor but is it so? They could ask if people are more or less likely to turn out if their candidate or the candidate they hate is ahead.
Off the top of my head, unless I am mistaken, there have been 12 presidents since FDR was elected in 1933.
In practice, (Truman and Johnson served out the 4 years of their predecessors who died right after being elected President , before they themselves were elected to one term in their own right and Ford wasn’t elected President, at all but served out Nixon’s second term as President.) there have been only 3 one term presidents since 1933, Ford, Carter, and Bush, Sr. Out of 12.

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll sponsored by by Coffee With Scott Adams for Thursday shows that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove.”
4 percent is within the margin of error, which puts them even, not too surprising as the country is divided down the middle between red and blue with a small margin that wavers this way and that in elections. This is when other polls are putting Biden 14 points ahead.

On second thought, is there anything in the picture that isn’t strange?
