About 10 years ago, I wrote The Historical Jesus in which I reviewed what we know and don’t know about Jesus..
Sorry, the site is “www.bcfmission.com”
Oh, I see what you mean! Maybe it looks odd, I like Glenn Beck and love that he is a friend to Israel…I just picked the current page thinking that it would be seen right away as opposed to writing a comment on an older post…and in case anyone reading the site is aware of this “bcfmission” being hosted by their church, they can be armed with information.
Sorry, I wasn’t sending any subtle or unsubtle messages. It was just that I had seen the postings on the site from a couple years ago so I knew that you are aware of “charities” purporting to help Christians in the Holy Land (and a reminder of the Holy Land Foundation terror trial). It would be horrible if naive Christians in the US, thinking they are being charitable, were to end up being tools in funneling money to Hamas.
God bless Glenn Beck.
God Bless the Israel and IDF.
Thank you, Anne
“I found Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center and Naim Ateek etc…I’m very suspicious and would like to notify churches to be very wary of any group like this, as it may be a front for anti-Israel propaganda…”
Your suspicions are well-founded, Anne.
Very well-founded indeed.
Sabeel is a notorious, pro-Pali, self-styled “Christian” outfit that conducts tours to the “West Bank,” and tries to use Replacement Theology to buttress & justify its anti-Israel narrative.
— Nothing at all like Glen Beck, BTW.
Which quite naturally prompts the question, Anne: why did you choose to post your warning on this particular thread?
I mean, I can certainly see why you might want to post it somewhere on this WEBSITE, but why apposite this article/video?
hello…this is my first comment here and it’s a little off topic. I’ve just seen some information on your site (I think from 2008 or 2009) while I was looking up some information on groups that claim to be raising money for the Christians in Bethlehem. A man was recently at my sister’s church selling (cheesy looking) supposed articles made from olive wood. Anyway, long story short, we looking up and finding lots of info that all seems to be connected to a “liberation theology” Jeremiah Wright/Desmond Tutu anti-Israel alliance.
I’m very suspicious and would like to notify churches to be very wary of any group like this, as it may be a front for anti-Israel propaganda…This guy was from BCFmission.org (Bethlehem Christian Families mission) out of Pennsylvania. There is a video on their site that focuses on Palestine, calling jerusalem the capital of Palestine!
I found Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center and Naim Ateek etc.
Could you possibly post info that I could print out to give pastors the information in case they are approached by these people? Or at least let your readers (Many of whom are pro-israel Christians no doubt) know to be wary?
