  1. I would imagine that she is in big demand throughout the evangelical circuit due to he ability to sing these two songs.

I couldn’t help but appreciate her choice of a white dress and blue waist band.

What a lovely young star. I will enjoy following her career with great interest as she continues to blossom into a successful opera star(I hope). She was born in Chicago to Romanian parents. She won the Romanian Got Talent contest and also America Got Talent sixth place in 2016. The group she is singing with is The Marantha Choir (aka Marantha Singers) who I see she has a few recordings with.

She has been performing since she was 6years old(2008) though her mother worked with her since she was much younger than that. She began by performing with the choir at her Pentecostal Church at 4 years of age. Her great inspiration seems to have been her grandfather who past away in Jan 2016 a few months before her ground breaking success in the Got Talent shows.

He was suppose to have a significant role in the world of music in Romania, but I am not able to find what. In anycase, some say it was he who got her the spot on Romania Got Talent. She had earlier successes with winning both Super Top Dog and Stars of Tomorrow which are competitions for younger children/teens.

She has also sung the National Anthem in 2014 for the White Sox at US Cellular Field, though I can not find video of this, unfortunately. Laura promised her grandfather on his deathbed that she would fulfill her dream to be an Opera Star and she seems well set on this path. I did find some criticism that she sings as an adult and for a child to do so this could have some significant consequences later in life.

I also found that she is quite gifted with being able to perform her high notes without force. She is fond of Puccini, but on AGT she performed Pie Jesu in tribute to her grandfather as it was his favorite.

Search her name on Google or You Tube. I have been following her ever since I saw her win the golden buzzer on AGT when she was 13. Watch her audition.

I think she must be an evangelical Christian.

  4. She has completely ravished my heart away. What a gorgeous woman with a gorgeous voice.

I would like a little connect. Who are the chorus standing behind her in these two numbers? And where were they performed? My guess is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. But I would like confirmation.
