Barak’s Parting Shot – Evacuation and Uprooting Orders for Netzer

I planted one of those trees. This is horrible.

Women in Green

Evacuation and uprooting orders have been issued at Netzer in Gush Etzion for hundreds of trees that were planted in order to prevent an Arab takeover of the lands of Gush Etzion

A surprise awaited Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, the heads of the Women in Green movement, today (Monday, December 17), in the form of evacuation and uprooting orders for the hundreds of trees that were planted on the lands of Netzer in Gush Etzion.

Katsover and Matar tell of their difficult feelings, especially in light of one of the orders, that was placed on the section of trees that had been planted in memory of terror victims Talia and Yitzhak Ames, may they be avenged, who were among the participants in the activities at Netzer.

This is not the first time that evacuation orders have been issued for the lands of Netzer. Last summer, the first evacuation orders were to take effect, but this madness of destruction and uprooting at Netzer was prevented following the intervention by Gush Etzion Local Council head Davidi Perl and members of Knesset Erets Israel Lobby MK Zeev Elkin and Prof Arieh Eldad and Orit Struck , candidate for the Bayit Yehudi party who all who joined the struggle.

Katsover and Matar tell of the orders that were left at Netzer, and mention that the plantings at Netzer were meant to prevent the Arabs from encroaching on the lands of Gush Etzion. They further state that these orders were issued, despite the fact that both they, as the heads of the movement, and the Gush Etzion Regional Council committed themselves in writing that the plantings at the site do not constitute a claim to ownership, neither to the lands nor to the trees.

“The Defense Minister, who is ‘retiring’ from political life, undoubtedly means to leave his mark in his final days,” the two say. They view Ehud Barak as solely responsible for the issuance of the orders. “Clearly, the Prime Minister does not need scenes of uprooting now,” they add.

“If only they would be as efficient in issuing orders against the Arab intruders, against the Beduin illegal construction in the south, and the thefts in Galilee. We call upon the public to contact members of Knesset, and incoming MKs, to take steps to prevent this madness,” Katsover and Matar conclude.

  1. Barak is DM for a reason; BB wants him there, Barak can make decisions that are not blamed on BB but that BB is authorizing If BB disagreed with Barak he would have every opportunity to have done so many times. Barak can make decisions in YS that dont harm BB politically; Barak can attract votes who would vote likud but want cautious defense policies;BArak can negotiate with US and get arms and appear to be dovish: Barak is good cop to the US and Bad cop to YS.

  2. save the trees — transplant them in municpal parks all over Israel — with placard “” HAMAKOM yenanacem et akare YAMIT / GUSH KATIF / NESHER GUSH ETZION

  3. @ yamit82:

Don’t forget who appointed Ehud Eichmann Bardak to the Ministry of Defense, It was the duplicitous Pipi Netanyahu who wanted him to do the dirty work of ethnically cleansing Jews from Yehuda and Shomron. Netanyahu or (Peresrahu) is to blame for this persecution of Jews and efforts to harm them economically. They both responsible for the anti Jewish atrocities. Furthermore, the Torah prohibits destruction of trees in the Land of Israel even to the enemy.

  4. Jews continue to talk about what to do with the land, with grassroots leaders having spent FORTY-FIVE years exhorting Jews to “Build-Build” instead “Let’s Annex Our Land Now”. But time is running out. The Arabs are better established and cockier than ever, keeping the neutered IDF away from their ‘state’ with US-trained US-armed militia. Always alert and taking the initiative, now Arabs want to prevent Jews from getting any crazy ideas about annexation by bolstering their numbers with Syrian refugees. The Israeli govt – being in full support of Arab-Nazi statehood – continues to be their best ally, having made official statements months ago expressing readiness to accept Syrian refugees.

IDF Chief: Israel ready to absorb some Syria refugees once Assad falls – http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/idf-chief-israel-ready-to-absorb-some-syria-refugees-once-assad-falls-1.406487

Now Abbas is taking Israeli officials at their word and asking the UN to take the first step towards bringing Syrian refugees into the PA. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/163329 – The Israeli govt will be happy to comply, after making a required noises of fake resistance, and eventually agreeing to a ‘limited’ number of a few thousand.

The Israeli govt and the PA do understand each other, and work in tandem to weaken Israeli hold on Jewish land.

  5. @ C.R.:

This sort of evil is what happens when the Jewish nation rejects their God and refuses to live in accordance with the Tanakh–but rather give themselves over to Godless secular humanism.

C.R. you may be quite right about this.

Yamit (Uncle Nahum) has spoken about this many times.

Listen, I am not the brightest person by far however, I am a firm believer the Jews return to their land was not by chance.

The successful defense of their nation during the wars with their crazy and hateful neighbors who outnumbered them reflects some Divine intervention.

If I were Jewish I would, trust me not be G-dless.

In fact I would do all in my power to convince my fellow Jews to force my government to allow me to pray at the Temple of my G-d with no restrictions.

And I would remove those rock throwing nimrods from the Temple area.

Time for Israelis to consider the right people to lead them.

  6. @ C.R.:

Well thats a bit simplistic. He risked his life to knock off PLO terrorists in Beirut. I haven’t done that. And I doubt you have too.

edit: and fffs stop writing in bold.

  7. @ Andrew:
What enigma? Ehud Barak is one traitorous Godless Jew–in a long history of traitorous Godless Jews!

This sort of evil is what happens when the Jewish nation rejects their God and refuses to live in accordance with the Tanakh–but rather give themselves over to Godless secular humanism.

Barak and Netanyahu, et al. enabling the murdering Arabs!

  8. What else is the be expected from an evil, self hating, backstabbing, Godless Jew–one Ehud Barak; Ehud Barak is guilty of treason and deserves the punishment of a traitor–Ehud Barak is doing what Netanyahu wants–if this were not so then Netanyahu would have come out against it and rescinded the order at the beginning!

  9. I wrote to the women in green and this is their reply:

“We are doing everything to appeal the decree

please write to the following Likud members to urge them to interfere:
    ylevin@KNESSET.GOV.IL
    ; zhotovely@KNESSET.GOV.IL
    ; yedelstein@knesset.gov.il
    ; ddanon@KNESSET.GOV.IL
    ; zelkin@knesset.gov.il
    ; gsaar@knesset.gov.il
    ; bbegin@knesset.gov.il
    ; myaalon@knesset.gov.il
    ; gerdan@knesset.gov.il
    ; moshe@mflikud.co.il

    I did..for what it’s worth:
“If Etzion means “Place of the tree” and Nezter a “tree shoot” – is this the only place in Israel to have trees pulled up and removed by order?”

  10. Correction to D mising from Comment#1….D- If every party to the right of the Likud threatened to not endorse the Likud and BB to form the next coalition unless the order is rescinded, the order would be rescinded today.

  11. If memory serves me their is a PM in Jerusalem and he can counter and rescind any order issued by any minister especially during the time of run-up elections where the DM and his rump party will not be represented in the government or in the Knesset.

Failure by BB to do so means”
A- He approves of the order.

B- wishes to retain Barak as DM in the next government

C- Approves of the order and wants Barak at all osts.

D- Does not view the order as a hindrance to his political aims.

E Is unaware of the order(quite unlikely)

D- If every party to the right

Blaming Barak and giving the Likud and BB a pass is exactly the reason why Barak has been able to get away with his brutality towards the Jews in Y&S.
