Arlene Kushner
“If the al-Marayati choice is any indication, that ‘diversity’ apparently extends to anti-Israel ideologues who attack U.S. terrorism prosecutions, whitewash Hamas war crimes, and portray Iran as a victim of U.S. perfidy. And he runs an organization which opposes key elements of American counter-terror policies, including the drone strike which killed American-born al-Qaida cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, the closing of terror-supporting charities and sting operations against would-be homegrown terrorists.
“A year ago, al-Marayati even threatened to sever ties with the U.S. government in a strongly-worded Los Angeles Timesop-ed column. Expressing anger over the use of ‘anti-Muslim’ training materials by the FBI and a U.S. Attorney’s office, al-Marayati wrote: ‘If this matter is not immediately addressed, it will undermine the relationship between law enforcement and the Muslim American community—another example of the ineptitude and/or apathy undermining bridges built with care over decades.’
“In spite of MPAC’s hostile view of government policies, administration officials routinely turn to MPAC for policy advice, including the training materials al-Marayati ranted about in the Times. In February, MPAC officials met with FBI Director Robert Mueller to discuss training materials about Islam. That same month, MPAC officials met with top Pentagon leaders to receive an apology over a recent incident involving Quran burnings in Afghanistan.”
See below for more on al-Marayati positions. They include his saying that the Holocaust is no excuse for Israel’s “dehumanization” of Arab peoples; his declaration that Israel is controlling US foreign policy; and his criticism of the prosecution of individuals who had planned to bomb synagogues and fire missiles at US military planes.
THIS is who was sent out to represent the US.

@ catarin:
Unless of course the govt had been captured by somebody who was?
What good, indeed!?
Note, Catarin, that the DATE of the ZOA News Release is nearly 3 yrs ago.
Click on Kushner’s link [above, at the end of the article]. It’s interesting.
Once again, Catarin, you’re begging the question.
You don’t believe what you wrote because you know it for fact.
You believe it only because Bush made a concerted & consistent decision (rightly or wrongly) to not defend himself & his administration in the court of public opinion
— so the Bush-haters had no opposition.
And they went hog-wild.
You are THEIR victim.
My suspicion is that history will be FAR kinder to them than it will be to their detractors.
There are lots fewer of the “hellish extremist Muslims” than there are of the “other” ones.
So if the other ones allow it, Catarin
— then they are either cowards, OR
they’re not altogether opposed to the “hellish extremist” types.
Pr. O cannot be pro WOMEN and at the very same time pro Muslims!!!! These are mutually exclusive choices. This requires very little thinking! Many women will fall in the trap because most pay no attention to what is going on in Washington DC and in foreign policy! But it should be obvious.
@ J.S.:
Pr. O and the far left laughing in the face of the country. Hopefully this will not last.
Steve Emerson has an entire dossier on al-Marayati. Google the “investigative project on terrorism”.
@ catarin:
Good question: what is in the best interest of the USA?
Europe is not pro-Palestinian!Not pro Arabs! Not pro Muslims!
It cost ZERO to the EU to be antisemitic and they love the oil and gas and would do without the Arabs and the Jews if they could.
The EU takes advantage of the neurons of the Jews (that is one of the reasons why the hate the Jews). But they fear the Arabs and in exchange they “”support”” the Pal against the Jews and IL.
@ catarin:
Hello Catarin.
The guy is surely an anti-Semite, since he uses the (obviously false) anti-Semitic motto about Israel’s secret control of the USA.
Concerning Obama, the real problem is that he allows Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. No matter how bad you think the Republicans are, for Israel’s survival they are a million times preferable to Obama.
@ Donald freyman:
Donald freyman Said:
Hello Donald.
All of Europe is pro-Palestinian. Still, with an international body that excludes Muslim countries we are better off.
I know nothing about this man, but I believe the U.S. government would never send out a representative who was anti-semitic. What good would that do in the interest of world peace? When a U.S. president, George Bush, appoints seasoned Republicans to his administration, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, who create the biggest military fiasco in U.S. history, what guarantee do we have that anyone will perform as expected and in the best interest of our country? These Republican politicians should be glad they will be dead when History pronounces its verdict on them.
No doubt Obama makes mistakes in placing his trust in some, as does everyone at one time or another, but he knows the importance of Israel to the U.S. and the West. Israel represents freedom and democracy to the downtrodden of the Middle East, which must be fought for every single day. He knows that Muslims are also victims of the hellish extremist Muslims who prey on all of us. I wish we could feed them all to the alligators.
@ rongrand:
Muslim Arab countries more interested in spending billions of $ to defame, demonize slander Jews and keep their masses poor and ignorants, so it is easier to use them as chair canon (meat for war)!
As far as the FWA (Free World Alliance) U can count the US out as long as Pr. O is reigning. He will join the MBs who do not want him.
Another reason to be very worried about the re-election of BB and the Likud!
Half of downed Hezbollah drone lay strewn in the open for days
Bedouins find significant parts of Iranian-made UAV left near the Yatir Forest
Everybody in positions of responsibility in the IDF should be fired from Gantz down. What a bunch of fuck-ups

Spin and lot’s of BS
@ dionissis mitropoulos:
I mentioned it many times here, Ted and Yamit will varify.
We need to create the “Free World Alliance” US, GB, France, Italy, Germany, Israel, India and the likes “all other nations who do not respect human rights do not apply.”
@ rongrand:
rongrand Said:
Abandoning the UN is the right thing to do for the USA.
I would suggest the creation of a new international body which would exclude all the serious human rights violators.
China, Russia and all the Muslim countries should be banned from membership (please correct me if there is a Muslim country that respects universal human rights).
Anyone, feel free to add to my most-unwanted list.
@ Jan Steinberg:
Hello Jan and thank you for the info on Ismaili Muslims.
I was in blame-Obama mode when I made my comment and missed the ramifications that you very insightfully spotted with regards to what message Obama could have sent.
Real pity that he didn’t, both for the truly moderate Muslims and the rest of us who are worried about the non-moderate ones.
For what it’s worth from a non-native English speaker, if I had to choose one word to describe Obama, it would be one of those you used, “indecent”.
@ Jan Steinberg:
Jan, your right, he could have but he didn’t.
Why, (I am always beating a dead horse so to speak, or repeating myself).
Obama is a acorn community organizer, an anti-Semite pretending to be a Christian for political reasons who embraces Islam, orchestrated by George Soros & Co to downgrade the US on the level of other nations to be governed by the UN and who is supported by the idiotic liberal left media and the clowns on MSNBC).
By the way, time to get the hell out of the UN, the worthless body controlled by gangster nations.
@ dionissis mitropoulos:
Obama could have chosen a Muslem who doesn’t hate Jews, but he wanted to make the Jew-hating Muslims happy. There is a sect of Muslims known as the Ismaili Muslims. They originated in Pakistan. They don’t hate Jews. As a docent at the Holocaust Museum in Houston, TX, I’ve had the pleasure of taking two groups of them on tour. They were a wonderful group – friendly,. polite, and very interested in the Holocaust. Think of what a statement Obama could have made if he chose one of them instead of that Jew-hating piece of crap he chose. He could have shown the world that he considers Muslims good Americans. He could have shown the American People that there are such Muslim who are decent folks. He could have shown the Muslim world that one doesn’t have to hate Jews, Christians, and all religions to be a pious Muslim. He had the chance to stand up for decency. Instead he stood up for hate.

In order to ingratiate themselves with muslims, our government is openly embracing antisemites. It could be said that our government has an official policy which is hostile to Jews and certainly the Jewish state.
Ironic statement given that muslim brotherhood front groups are the ones actually controlling American foreign policy.
The SWC has issued a protest about Obama’s cozy coddling of the Muslim Brotherhood. (Clearly, it will have zero impact.)
So why didn’t they choose a Muslim that is NOT an anti-Semite?
It would be both a reflection of the wide diversity of backgrounds of the American people AND an indication that the administration takes anti-Semitism seriously.
