Hmmm… my post has disappeared from here. It was about Finland, the latest NATO member along the border of Russia. Sweden hopes to join in July, but is being held up by Turkey.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the armed forces continue to advance slowly against Russian positions, searching out the best place to breach the trench lines. Those trenches are described by many as formidable to attackers; but they have an inherent weakness, once breached:
