Rumble — When it comes to actions taken to address the Covid-19 threat, hindsight is still very much underway. For your consideration: a story and outcome you probably aren’t hearing much about anywhere else. It takes place in the heart of Amish country.
@Adam
If this were smallpox, or something equally horrific with no treatment options, >30% death rate, targeting everyone, and disfiguring effects to the survivors, things would be much more concerning. Fortunately, with regards to Covid, the death rate is ~0.3% without treatment, it largely targets the ill and the old, the after effects are manageable, we think, and there are no disfiguring consequences. And we have a treatment. We actually have a variety of treatments, by drugs which have are known to be safe and have been well described as medical treatments going back decades. Without knowing how the Amish treated their sick, as I am quite ignorant of their medical practices, I can’t specifically comment on their specific approach, especially as they are not likely to share the level of death their community suffered. But to treat the ill as they become ill or use medical prophylaxis as India pursued, seems more than a little wise, especially as the vaccines are exacerbating many problems, from new escape variant to immune system derangement, to possibly increasing all cause deaths, perhaps.
No one should be fooled into believing that it would be a poor outcome to have the disease make its way through the population, while they are protected by available treatments to establish population wide immunity – see India. This becomes increasingly important as the unvaccinated public becomes increasingly limited in number. Indeed, some have suggested a return of the Chickenpox parties where the public can be exposed and treated to achieve a level of sterilizing(completely killing) immunity. It has been stated that India has 2/3 of its public with immunity to the virus, so perhaps that is all that is needed to produce the long fabled heard immunity that the vaccines were intended to produce. Seems like a win win, right? The problem here, presuming the 2/3 figure is accurate(anyone’s guess), is where will we find 2/3 of the public to produce the sterilizing antibodies to fight the virus as it mutates away from the effects of the vaccine-antibodies. The vaccinated public are both susceptible to the virus, acting as super-spreaders to some increasing degree, and have a reduced immunity to the virus, should we accept the findings on the limited response to the virus by the vaccinated public as described by the recent British surveillance reports.
Vanden Bosshe warned last winter when he warned of the creation of vaccine-escape-variants being produced due to vaccinating during the height of the outbreak. If what is written in the British Surveillance Report is to be accepted as accurately described and understood, which is a real question, we may be looking at a very serious problem. It suggests that something called Original Antigenic Sin may have developed. Original Antigenic Sin results in each new version or variant of the SARS-Cov2 virus eliciting the original virus-antibody being produced. As we saw these vaccine-antibodies were very effective against the original wild virus and less so with the emerging variants, particularly Delta. The further these variants evolves away from the wild virus used to produce the vaccines, which themselves produce the vaccine-antibodies, the less protective both the vaccines and vaccine-antibodies will become at providing protection. So at some point a variant will be produced that will completely escape the protection of these vaccine-antibodies. Should that occur, and the Original Antigenic Sin persists in producing the same old one-trick pony response, anaergy could result, where the immune system feels it is responding by producing antibodies, but the antibodies are not protective.
So, I believe something similar to what the Amish suggested, adding medication if they did not have/use them, is indicated based on moral, legal and ethical bases, as well as a practical means by which to end this medical crisis which is maturing into something that may not be possible to endlessly manage using only these leaky vaccines.
I’m A bit upset that you gentlemen have not commented on the Amish story. After all that is what this video is about, not the other matter that you are discussing.
Although it is only “anecdotal evidence” from Amish spokesmen, they claim that although very few of them have been vaccinated there have been very few cases of Amish getting sick with Covid-like symptoms (most of them also decline to be tested so it is hard to know for certain if they had Covid) since around May 2020. They believe that they have acquired “herd immunity.”
What do you think of their leader’s claims in this regard, Peloni?
Thank you very much peloni1986 for your post and accompanying link. It confirms some of my fears and suspicions.
This is concerning from a number of aspects. A friend forwarded this to me and I found it too important to not share here. There is a group of Israeli professionals who have called out the Israeli data as being not just poor but also distorted. Here is a video with Dr. Raz covering the content of the complaints:

The letter can be found at the link at the bottom. Here is an extract:
The letter is too long to include the details, but please read it at the following link:

I think a number of points from this letter are quite damaging.
