Updates on the Anglo-American Strikes on Yemen
January 11, 2024
1. American and British warplanes carried out twelve strikes on several military sites and installations belonging to the Iran-backed Houthi militant group in Yemen. Strikes targeted military sites in the vicinity of Sanaa and Hodeidah Saada, Hajah, Dhamar, Abs and Taiz.
2. The list of military installations targeted includes radar sites, drone and missile platforms, and coastal observation sites. JaFaJ Western military sources in Qatar confirm reports of heavy casualties among the Houthi forces. They also confirmed an internet and cell phone communications outage in Houthi-controlled areas because of the air strikes.
3. The sources also confirmed the attacks were carried out from US aircraft carriers in the Red Sea as well as Al Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar [COMMENT: Al Udeid Air Base is one of the largest military bases in the Middle East. Based in the small Arab state of Qatar, Al Udied houses the United States Air Forces Central Command and No. 83 Expeditionary Air Group of Britain’s Royal Air Force and is positioned at a very strategic location in the heart of the Persian Gulf. END COMMENT]
4. Meanwhile, JaFaJ has learned that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has placed its air force and air defense system on alert as it is expecting the Houthis to carry retaliatory attacks on its oil fields, an act Houthis have carried out in the past.
This is genocide against the Hooties. Quick, let’s get El Salvador to bring a complaint to the ICJ.
To Adam , read the article by Jennifer Dyer from the optimisticconservative blog; she has signaled that the use of Al Udeid base by the US forcs is restricted ; US forces are not allowed to attack Iran from Al Udeid …
Really disturbing that all these U.S. and British military bases located in a state controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood and militantly anti-Israel, A sincerely pro-Israel government could move these bases to a country on better terms with Israel. Perhaps Bahrain of the UAE, or Saudi Arabia. Other options a pro-Israel government could consider would be an invasion of Qatar by the other Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia. The other gulf states have threatened such an invasion before unless Qatar end its relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood is illegal in the other Gulf states, because it has vowed to overthrow their pro-Western governments.
A third option would be a direct US military operation to overthrow its present ruling emir and replace him with a more pliant member of the royal family who is not affiliated with Iran, Hamas, or the Brotherhood. I read somewhere there are several members of the royal that fit this description.
The fact that the U.S. and Britain maintains its major military bases in a country closely aligned with Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah is proof, to my mind, that these two countries are not pro-Israel.
Blinken is 100% sure there were no civilians anywhere near the sites they bombed…. I guess.
