AG Barr Says Feds Cut Chicago Murders IN HALF

PoliticalLookout.com

– Attorney General William Barr announced on Wednesday that federal officers sent in by the Trump administration have cut the murder rate in Chicago almost in half. As part of Operation Legend, led by the Department of Justice, federal officers have managed to quell much of the violence and criminality taking place in the Democrat-run city.

Barr updated journalists during a press conference in Chicago, explaining how Operation Legend has so far successfully overseen the arrest of 500 people committing violent crime, and charged 124 people who are now facing federal crimes. Those arrested face charges ranging from firearm offenses and narcotics distribution to bank fraud.

It’s a huge set back for the Democrats who refused to cooperate with the feds on dealing with the surging violence.

During the press conference, Barr gave an update on how federal officers are tackling violent crime nationally, too. He explained how more than 2,500 people have been arrested across the country and more than 600 in total are facing federal charges.

Operation Legend was initiated in Chicago back in July not just because of the riots taking places on a regular basis in the city – initiated by far-left Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists – but also because of gang violence and criminality that was increasing by the week. A huge spike in homicides and shootings prompted the city’s Democratic mayor Lori Lightfoot to blame neighboring states with more relaxed gun laws. Lightfoot failed to act on the violence, however, and it sadly resulted in the death of many children under the age of five, and dozens of adults and young people.

The federal project was also launched in various other American cities seeing similar spikes in violence – Democrat cities, of course – and uses resources from the DEA, ATF, FBI, and U.S. Marshals. By cooperating with local police departments, federal officers have been able to significantly quell violence and help restore order on the streets.

More than 400 federal officers were deployed in Chicago alone. Some $9 million in federal cash was used in Chicago, too, helping support anti-crime operations that were already in place but which weren’t adequately funded.

Democrats can’t say federal support doesn’t help…it does!

I missed this story, because of all the fire activity near me:

“Christian ministry holds ‘worship protest’ in street after Seattle barricades park”

The smoke will begin to clear soon from the fires, and the COVID casedemic should peter out shortly thereafter. And when the smoke and fog of this unusual year have lifted, it won’t be BLM and Antifa making the news here. I think what you’ll see are Christian and patriotic outpourings like the West Coast has never seen before.

Hi, Adam. Here is one of the recent posts from a county heavily affected by the fires:

    Lane County Government
    17 hrs ·

The outpouring of generosity and care that Lane County residents have shown for everyone displaced or affected by wildfire is incredible.

The donations of goods received could literally fill buildings. Because so much has been given in a short period of time, we are asking that everyone pause in donating goods and materials until what has already been received can be organized.

Right now, the volume of donations is hindering the ability of community organizations to distribute needed goods to people.

Once community organizations have gotten a handle on the donations so far, they can help put out the call for specific items that are still needed.

Again, thank you for your generosity and your giving spirits. You will be asked to continue finding ways to support our neighbors and we have no doubt that you will all step up to the plate.

This reminds me of the donations to build the Tabernacle. So much was given, Moses had to tell them to stop!

    Hi, Adam

Governor Brown, at her best, is a useless witch. After stripping law enforcement of its teeth in Oregon and supporting over 105 straight nights of riots, she has responded to these historic, catastrophic fires by:

    1. forcing firefighting crews of as few as 80 firefighters to fact 30,000 to 160,000 acre blazes that normally require 1000 men,

    2. telling Oregonians to “brace themselves” for mass casualties, then

    3. announcing a pending change in the weather as though it were her own accomplishment.

As I said, the woman is useless. GOD saved me and mine from a roaring blaze that advanced in a few hours from nothing into an inferno coming to 25 miles away from us. It raced with ZERO % CONTAINMENT, as did nearly every other fire in Oregon. God breathed on Oregon, the wind shifted, and the fire turned back on itself.

With God’s help, we will get over this, and Kate and her fellow Dems will be consigned to history in our state.

Oregon braces for “mass fatality incident” as fires near Portland
This week’s death toll from fires in Oregon, Washington and California now stands at 17, as at least 100 major fires burn in 11 western states. As flames push closer to the city of Portland, the mayor has declared a state of emergency — and state officials say they’re now preparing for a “mass fatality incident.”

More than half a million people — 12% of the state’s population — have fled from their homes in Oregon and mass evacuations are underway across the region. Oregon’s governor said Thursday that dozens may be missing in her state.

The monstrous fires are moving so quickly that they’re overwhelming fire crews. The fires are also creating choking smoke from Los Angeles to Seattle. Portland and San Francisco now have the worst air quality in the world — and officials are urging people to stay indoors.

In Berry Creek, California, what used to be a lakeside community full of homes is now incinerated. One fire has claimed at least 10 lives, including that of 16-year-old Josiah Williams, who was found last night near his home. ”

In Washington, Jamie and Jake Hyland lost their 1-year-old son Uriel and their unborn child after they couldn’t escape the flames. The couple suffered severe burns. ”

From today’s MSNBC. It almost seems like divine vengeance for the constant rioting and arson in Portland, and the assaults on both local police and the Federals officers working with them. Now it is looking like more than police headquarters and Federal buildings will burn. Now the Portlanders are finding out that may fires are not so “progressive” after all.
