By Jonathan Ben Moshe,
The government has a policy of leniency toward sections of Israeli society that are hostile to the State of Israel. That leniency extends to Arab murderers and their supporters as well as to the so-called peace movement that serves as a cheering section to Arab hostile declarations and activities.
The reality is that the Israeli government is a fig leaf to an Un-Elected High Court Dictatorship that constantly imposes its leftist ideology and anti-Jewish bias on the Elected Government. That translates to a Non-functioning democracy where the public has to suffer the consequences of Government decisions being short-circuited by the High Court!
Thus the public has become a sacrificial lamb to the High Court priests and their pro-Arab supporters. If that is not bad enough, people have also become victims of manipulation by the leftist media where truth can seriously be lacking.
So when will Israel stop being bullied and exploited by Un-elected Individuals and groups that do not have its best interests in mind?
When will government policies be instituted that will look after the welfare of the Jewish people in all of the land of Israel, fight corruption and reject biased double standards?
When and how can a democratic representative government system be instituted that can reflect the Jewish values of the electorate?
What will it take to finally end hostile foreign interference to Israel’s sovereignty?
In these trying times, it is outrageous to have a Defense Minister such as Moshe Ya’alon conducting a policy of appeasement in the face of terror. His policies have provided freedom to Arab murderers to target and engage Jewish motorists with a reign of terror and murder!
Moshe Ya’alon also allows and supports actions that are hostile towards the Jewish population of Judea and Samaria and compromises their livelihood and security!
Considering his bias and incompetence, his retirement, as Defense Minister is long overdue, yet he continues to orchestrate activities that are detrimental to the safety and integrity of all Israel! How much violence and damage must Israel endure before a volcanic change is brought about?
To stop the dispersal of $150B, we must act by December 15th.
All proposals and musings about proposals are useless when Palestinians are intransigent.
deportation is the best solution but one will need to frame it lawfully to avoid uneccessary problems. Anti semitic incitement and libels are reasonable behaviors to criminalize severely in the Jewish state. Terrorist charges are not enough… it does not deal with the muslim clerics, the 5th column muslim MK’s, and the magpie women on the Mount. First, you deport the inciting imam, and then you announce that anyone belong to an anti semitic org, attending an anti semitic school or mosque will be deemed under the law as a criminal subject to deportation. In this way it is ones activities and behaviors which render them a criminal as opposed to their race or ethnicity. the problem will remain of the leftist oriented illegitimate, unelected supreme court…. which is why BB should be supporting shaked’s attempts to reform the court rather than obstructing her attempts…. just one more example demonstrating his anti zionist, anti right wing behavior.
My wager is that the Jews of Israel have less stringent law enforcement on anti semitism than the french.
woolymammoth Said:
they never saved it before, so why should they start now?
rsklaroff Said:
to which “first graph” do you refer, I drew no graphs. Explain the significance and meaning of “negotiation with ones self”. I have no idea what this means and why it means something? point.
Are you referring to my comment regarding BB believing the land is in dispute… if so it would be easier if you had used the highlight and quote tool,… or are you referring to your unfinished inference that my Jewish settlement of YS proposal is in violation of ABC? My dispute comment should have been posted on the “what BB wants” blog. I am interested in why you think my settlement proposal violates ABC (assuming by ABC you are talking about the areas in YS)
Here is the best chance to sink the Iran deal:
@ woolymammoth:
The effort to sink the Iran deal is ongoing, and any deportation would alleviate stress; these are do-able and achievable…and no credible counternarrative has been articulated.
@ bernard ross: Well, if there is going to be a two state solution, this is it. As far as the polemics of those who are committed to our demise, let me put it this way, when a Jewish child walks to school there should be zero risk of terrorism, when a Jewish couple walk to shul, terrorism should be as far removed from their concerns as being struck by a comet. Whatever it takes to achieve the before mentioned, and may I add, not to be put into practice ” incrementally”.
How do you suppose the French are planning to save their country, by incremental deportations, I don’t think so.
@ rsklaroff: I do not think Bennet would find Wooly’s point absurd, at all. He has been played for a fool and he knows it. The point is there lacks any leverage Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria have to demand and receive adequate security for it’s populace. At this point doc, it is along the lines of ask for what you wish, but you will take what you get, would you volunteer to be a sitting duck in such an equation with your wife and children under your wings? It is about time that Jerusalem be put on notice that there is an alternative to the status quo. …And what is so absurd about Judea and Samaria being, “in principle”, an independent 2nd Jewish State. Maybe the Jewish residents of J&S would be more comfortable with a different form of governance and not beholden to the likes of the so called “Combina” .The Israeli Supreme Court, ngo’s and aspects of the present reality that they might find contrary to that of a Jewish society. What I am also suggesting is that prayer alone will not rescue these communities.
Incremental deportations is about as practical as was you scheme to sink the Iran
Nuclear Deal, or are you still lobbying for that? LOL.
bernard ross:
Your first ‘graph constitutes “negotiation with one’s self” and is tangential; concur with deportation-component of your second ‘graph.
if BB beleived the land was in dispute he would not start negotiations with the premise of giving away 95%. He would claim all of C under the premise that the areas was supposed to be reserved under the mandate for Jewish settlement. His lowest postion would be to divide equally the vacant lands of C… I see no logic whereby all of C is considered to be given to the pals as a result of the jordan british invasion of 1948. the typical approach is that jews get where jews live, arabs get where arabs live and the vacant land is equally divided. the starting position of dumb israelis is to accept the starting position of the enemy. they are sensible enough to start by claiming everything unlike fool Jews.
One of the main things I would immediately do now is to enact new, or strengthen old, anti semitism laws which gives severe and harsh punishment for any anti semitic incitement or libels. Deportation would be a common punishment this would get rid of the lying arab mk’s, the inciting imams, the fatah terrorists, etc. Anti terror laws are not enough, in the jewish homeland of escaped jewish slaves from europe, anti semitism must be a taboo requiring mandatory severe punishments. Right now there is more jew abuse and muslim anti semitism in Israel than in france…. this is unacceptable and i blame BB as the pm who allows it to continue, especially at the mount.
rsklaroff Said:
how so?
rsklaroff Said:
NO, whoever controls YS is legally obligated to settle world jewry. the only argument I have heard against settlement is the GC argument being applied to Israelis. In order not to allow this argument one only settles diaspora Jews in the vacant lands of C. In order to mitigate the damages of past occupations of Britain, Jordan and Israel the current administrator(Israel) declares an affirmative action program to settle quickly and massively to account for the past obstruction, but only diaspora jews using the model of the US homestead act of the 1800’s…. free land grants to diaspra jews and bring them in by the hundreds of thousands….
if jews are massively settled then everything becomes moot… this is why BB does not settle jews in new YS settlements… because he expects to give it to the pals and just keep military outposts until the pals confederate with Jordan.
Bernard, wouldn’t your idea violate the Area ABC model?
If BB was pro settler all he need do is proclaim YS open to settlement under the same terms as the mandate whether Israel keeps it or not. all the state lands in YS should be given as land grants to diaspora jews to immigrate to YS. In this way the only argument of the GC would not apply as Israelis would not be settled… only jews as mandated in the original mandate. Israel would be complying with international law regarding jewish settlement without the red herring canard being allowed for settling Israelis. what could anyone argue in that circumstance?
if jews are settled then everything else works out
@ woolymammoth:
if you subtract the major blocks population that everyone knows Israel will keep, what population is left in the rest? I suspect that most of the 400k is in the major blocks.
Wooly’s point is absurd; I return to an effective incremental move [deportation] to facilitate anti-terrorism efforts.
@ bernard ross: The remedy is fraught with insurmountable obstacles yet, under the circumstances, I would encourage THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA, to study ways in which their communities can demand independence and hence the right and the means to defend themselves, I am suggesting a second Jewish State not dependent upon Israel or the USA, unless Israel is prepared to annex these areas and defend all of it’s people up to and including expelling terrorists and securing the territories, just as it did so on The Golan. Of course you all can continue to be victims, I would not put up with it for 5 minutes, no one is going to cannon fodder my family. Use your brains and get off off you fat buttocks, if you want to live, stop being willing victims, we cannot have that or move someplace else, you did not know the reality of living in these lands, wake up.
IS never shot down an Israeli plane or fired hundreds of missiles at Israeli civilians. After all, russia attacked IS first.
debka is the source, so it is questionable
All caused by the irresponsible and libeleous lynch mobbing defamation of settlers by BB, Yaalon, rivlin, and erdan…. they should be held personally responsible for the stabbings, burnings and murders of Jews. Their blame of the settlers without evidence is a standard seen nowhere else in the democratic world. No leaders anywhere would have jumped to blame knowing what their words would cause, especially in Israel…. they know that the standard worldwide is to call for patience and reliance on investigation and law… isnt that what BB now does for the arab terror perps stabbing and burning Jews. Why are they not defaming the arabs like they defamed the Jews in YS and on the Mount? All 4 should be in administrative detention for incitement of murder.
They dont even apologize for their part in the current wave of muslim terror. They continue to hold Jews in order to justify their incompetence, or maybe worse. They are likely seeking the “evidence” with which to frame a settler… how else would such people behave?
Oslo accords? Has anyone been to Oslo lately . Muslims have take over 3 suburbs of Oslo that Fire and Police refuse to ensure there after 6PM ,30 years of left wing Jew hating Israel bashing has put Norway in the same toilet as Sweden ,
So how many Jews are Ya ‘Alon and the supreme court willing to sacrifice?
deportation is vital
The Oslo paradigm is driven by the Israeli bureaucracy and civil society elites who have a vested interest in the status quo.
Like in other Western democracies, there is a sharp divide between elite preference which lean towards the left and public opinion, which has moved towards the right.
I don’t see Israeli policymakers jettisoning Oslo short of an outright catastrophe. It would take an unimaginable bloodbath to force them to revisit their worldview.
As bad as the current Arab pogrom is, the threshold of pain it inflicts on Israeli society is not yet high enough in Israeli elite eyes to overturn what’s been established over the past twenty odd years.
And elites usually lag well behind public opinion on the extent of necessary change that should happen in the situation of their society.
Bottom line: the Oslo status quo has proven to be very durable and overturning it will be no small feat.
