    He agrees with my understanding that in order to understand Islam one must understand pre-Islamic ME cultures. Islam incorporated those cultures and changed little.

  8. Been finishing up my firewood. That’s taken up a lot of my time. Been trying to read more when I’m so busy, thereby sacrificing my comment time on Israpundit. I miss you too, Mr. Ross. And I miss Yamit and Dove and Phoenix and Honeybee. May have a letter published in the National Post in the next few days. Will post it here. A lot happening with JDL Canada right now. Membership is growing by leaps and bounds. I’ve been reading Efraim Karsh. My niece’s boyfriend’s father is a personal friend of Prof. Karsh. As I’m reading (‘Islamic Imperialism’) I’m wondering if you and Yamit have read his books. He’s amazing. Hits the nail on the head about Islam. I’ve ordered another of his books, ‘Palestine Betrayed’, which has been opposed and excoriated by Benny Morris (before his turn around) and others. I highly recommend his books, Mr. Ross. I would love to hear what Yamit thinks of his work. He always sees things I seem to overlook.

The long-distance range of my thinking cap tells me the day may well come when Israel and the Jewish nation shall find they are allied with one or more of these neighboring or nearby Islamic local powers in the civil wars that are the most distinctive and predictable characteristic of Islamic civilization.

    ISIS is one such Islamic power center. They chop off heads of their hostages. So what, as long as the head-removals threaten the Jewish state or the Jewish nation?
