Peloni: A year too late and an impeachment too short… Quite typical of the Congressional Republicans. If the Republicans ever accomplished anything useful, it would certainly be a momentous event. Two years after taking the House, they have finally resolved that Biden has committed impeachable offenses as detailed in their “long-awaited report”, just one months after he announced the end of his political career. No doubt the Republicans will hold fundraisers to celebrate their empty handed gesture of success, even as it will lead to no substantive changes or consequences in the halls of power in the US. One hand washes the other, just as it also watches out for the other.

Never to be accused of doing anything timely for the American people, the republicans on the House Oversight, Judiciary and Ways and Means committees just released a 291-page report today [full pdf here], highlighting the evidence of Joe Biden’s corruption in office.
The Republicans couldn’t wait to send money to Ukraine. The same Republicans rushed a FISA reauthorization bill. The Republicans also fast-tracked a Green New Deal bill under the guise of an Inflation Reduction Act, and they delivered a fake border security bill. However, it took them three years to outline Biden’s pay-to-play schemes. Go figure.
Joe Biden is heading to the exit, his cohort Kamala now represents the face of the administration, and here comes the Chaff and Countermeasures committee members with their outrage and shock.
First and foremost, overwhelming evidence demonstrates that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family. Among other aspects of this conspiracy, the Biden family and their business associates received tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests by leading those interests to believe that such payments would provide them access to and influence with President Biden. As Vice President, President Biden actively participated in this conspiracy by, among other things, attending dinners with his family’s foreign business partners and speaking to them by phone, often when being placed on speakerphone by Hunter Biden. For example, in 2014, Vice President Biden attended a dinner for Hunter Biden with Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina.4 Following the dinner, Baturina wired $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton, a firm associated with Hunter Biden.5 Then, months later, as Hunter Biden and his business associates continued to solicit more money from Baturina, Vice President Biden participated in a phone call with Baturina and Hunter Biden where Vice President Biden told Baturina, “you be good to my boy.”6 Moreover, President Biden knowingly participated in this conspiracy. Based on the totality of the evidence, it is inconceivable that President Biden did not understand that he was taking part in an effort to enrich his family by abusing his office of public trust.
As noted by Politico, “House Republican investigators accused President Joe Biden of engaging in “impeachable conduct” as part of a long-awaited report. It’s unlikely to change a reality the party has faced for months: They don’t have the votes to impeach him.” (more)

Then follow up with charges of treason for knowingly allowing this to go on until this presidency is finished. If there is anything else that can be done to save the situation, please do it!
