Owens and Carlson Are Trying to Move US Foreign Policy Away From Israel

@AThinksAloud tweeted the following with Lee Smith’s reply below:

Candace and Tucker are targeting Christians with a very consistent, clear message.

Here is the game they’re playing:

Candace expresses views about p-rn that many Christians share, to get them nodding and agreeing with her, so she can then lead them to this conclusion—“And the Jews did this to hurt Christians.”

Tucker will talk about Assad protecting Christians, after previously saying multiple times that Israel and Zionists influence America to wage war on Christians, so you arrive at this same place. “And the Jews did it to hurt Christians.”

They’re not directly saying that last sentence out loud. They’re just leading you down this yellow brick road and then pointing at dots they want you to connect along the way and saying “You tell ME what to make of this! Why aren’t we allowed to talk about this?”

Ask yourself why these two individuals—along with many other influencers posing as Christians—are conducting such a fervent, tireless campaign to get Christians to be suspicious of Jews and even despise them?

I actually don’t know the answer.

But people who are just asking questions need to start asking Candace and Tucker some questions.

  1. Carlson promotes antisemitism through omission – as when he interviewed Kanye West and left out his antisemitic rants – as well as through giving sympathetic interviews to antisemites so he can pretend to be objective.

  2. Never heard Tucker Carlson hate on Jews. Need to be more careful with such accusations. Cannot blame Elon Musk for all the Jew haters or “Pro-Palestinian” tweets on Twitter either. There are a lot of Israel bashers and Jew haters in the medical ‘freedom’ movement. That doesn’t mean they are wrong about the Covid vaxx. Who hurt more Jews; Tucker Carlson’s platform or Israeli MOH (Ministry of Health)? Tucker or Prime Minister Bennett telling family & neighbours to ‘turn each other in’ for not following vaxx mandates? Tucker or upper Israeli military who failed on 7 October 2023 (or worse)? Tucker doesn’t want to keep spending the people’s money in America on wars overseas. Including on Israel. He is short-sighted sometimes, but that is not necessarily anti-semitism. Israel needs to fund its own wars. Israelis need to turn to Hashem & stop attacking each other.

  3. Many thanks,EvRe1, for explaining to me this phrase (p-rn) which confused me. I have a lot to learn about contemporary “internet English,” being a 75-year-old who grew up at a time when American English was quite different, almost a different language from what the English that contemporary “netizens” communicate with each other on the major internet platforms and on social media. Again, many thanks.

  4. @Adam D, I think p-rn means “porn”. Certain words which trigger censorship on various media platforms are now missing letters and/or replacing some of the missing letters with a dash or an asterisk. This is to avoid the Ai censorship that tracks specific words and seeks to censor content based upon those words.

Re: Tucker and Owens, both in their own ways have their own issues with Jews, that they can hide behind by scapegoating Jews.

Scapegoating works because it allows individuals to express hostility in a borderline socially acceptable way. It only becomes socially acceptable if enough people scapegoat the same group of people to bring it to a tipping point at which the society in general thinks it is socially acceptable to look down on Jews, for example.

In America since the Civil Rights Movement, it became socially unacceptable to be openly hostile towards Jews. However, until as late as the 1960’s suburban towns in America often would not sell homes to Jews. So prejudice existed but it was kept as a stealth measure with some degree of plausible deniability.

At this point in America, it is completely unacceptable to discriminate against Jews, Blacks, Asian Americans, Muslims, etc.

What Owens and Tucker are riding is the wave of antisemitism paid for and made to appear legal by billionaires such as George Soros, Pierre Omidyar, and other billionaires with foundations such as the Tides Foundation, the Open Society fund, etc. These billionaires somehow cannot find any better way to spend their money but to attack Jews and Israel and attempt to make Jew hatred socially acceptable.

It is not socially acceptable and should not be allowed to become so.

Every Jew in America really needs to take notice now and begin to take responsibility for responding to this problem. This is how genocide begins. It doesn’t begin with the ovens. It begins with making Jew hatred seem normal and reasonable.

There is no excuse for Tucker Carlson’s animus towards Israel and the same goes for Owens. Both of them have prejudice against Jews that should not be tolerated or supported. If anything they deserve to be boycotted.

  5. Who or what is “p-rn? Spmeone please identify this “entity” (an organization? or an individual?) to those of us not in the know.

  6. One has to assume that Candace and Tucker, having reset their original courses from Jew-loving to Jew-hating, must now be supporters of islam; that seems to be the way it works. Let’s call it “binary”.
So naturally the next question is very simple: What does each of them think of the latest Islamist gem in Germany, or for that matter, the situation in the UK where a stalwart Islamist is on trial for killing three young children?
This is where the “rubber meets the road” as they say. In other words one has to seriously pretend that this whole “lets form a caliphate” situation will not affect either them or their respective families…
Perhaps they would like to reconsider… But it seems that they have thrown out the trust we all originally had of them.
