With all these changes in all our neighboring countries, what consequences do we expect? Will the new governments be friendly to Israel or will they live up to expectations and try a repeat of the 6-day war?
We have heard over the past few months that Jordan will be friendly, but can Mudar change the ingrained philosophy of the population? To be honest, our Bible tells us differently.
We have been hearing for decades now that we have a cold peace with Egypt and Jordan and no peace at all with Syria, Lebanon or even Saudi Arabia, although they seem to prefer a seat in the audience for now. Other countries with no common border are a mixed pack led by Iran, whom we would very much prefer to have as a friend rather than destroy them. The permanent members of the UNSC are also difficult to deal with. All of them want Israeli innovation, but at every turn, they are against us, sometimes with the unwilling cooperation of the USA to deflect some of the nonsensical resolutions handed down.
