Hamas Leader Was Informed of Assassination Plot

T. Belman. How the hell did Qatar Secret Service, hear of this.

JaFaJ INTELLIGENCE   July 31, 2024

1. Summary: Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh- Haniyeh who was assassinated on July 31, 2024 in Tehran, was “warned” by Qatari State Security in late June about an imminent assassination plot. This warning was conveyed by a Qatari Royal family member who hosted him in Doha. Haniyeh was informed that Israel intended to assassinate him, regardless of political or diplomatic repercussions, even if he were in Qatar. Despite reassurances of safety from the Qatari government, Haniyeh travelled to Iran, believing the threat of Iranian retaliation would deter Israel from attacking him there.

2. JaFaJ has learned from Arab Gulf sources, that Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh was already aware of an assassination plot against him. The source confirmed that the Qatari State Security agency warned Haniyeh in late June about the imminent danger.

3. According to sources, the warning was delivered to Haniyeh by a member of the Qatari Royal family. This member hosted him in Doha before his flight to Iran. Haniyeh was briefed that Israel had decided to assassinate him regardless of the political or diplomatic repercussions, even if he were in Qatar. He was assassinated on July 31, 2024.

4. Qatar, a close ally of the United States and host to about 10,000 American troops at Al-Udaid base, has provided sanctuary to Hamas leaders for over two decades. Haniyeh, believing in the security of Qatar, underestimated the potential for an Israeli assassination on Qatari soil, which would lead to a diplomatic crisis with the US. Israel still faces international criticism for the 2008 assassination of Hamas leader Al-Mabhouh in Dubai, which involved the use of fake identities and violation of another country’s sovereignty.

5. Despite reassurances from the Qatari government that he would be safe in Qatar, Haniyeh chose to visit Iran during a heightened State Of Alert, thinking Israel would avoid an attack due to the threat of Iranian retaliation. In April 2024, Iran launched an unprecedented rocket barrage on Israel, providing Haniyeh with confidence about the deterrent effect of Iran’s military response.

6. Haniyeh’s assassination marks a shift in Israel’s policy from limited targeting of Hamas leaders in host countries. This is likely the beginning of a broader strategy, not an isolated incident. In January 2024, JaFaJ reported on Israel’s decision to start targeting Hamas leaders beyond their usual geographic boundaries. 1. @Edar:The first reports of the assassination, originating in Iran, claimed that Haniyah was assassinated by a Stinger missile fired from a drone or helicopter sent by Israel, More recent reports, however, say that he was assassinated with a bomb that was planted in the private hostile where he stayed about two months before his death. But that raises all sorts of other questions. How did wh ever planted the bomb know he would be staying there? How would they know when he would be staying there? It seems to support my “hypothesis” that this Tajikstan anti-Iran terrorist group might have been involved. They almost certainly have more people permanently “on the ground” people”On the ground” that might well have more current information about developments in Iran than even the Mossad does, since many of their agents are permanent residents of Iran and even Iranian citizens. The Mossad undoutedly has its own spies in Iran, put probably not as many as the Tadjikos. But if the Tajiki Sunni Musllims were involved It was almost certainly working with or for Israel. Israel may either have paid them to do the job. Over the years, the Mossad has been willing to work with terrorist groups with whom they have interests or objectives in common. Most of the world’s otherintelligence agencies also lack any scruples about doing this.

Indeed. These operations could not have been deemed to be more sensitive than they were, and yet details were leaked to the enemy, and at least one set of leaks has already been sourced to the Americans, who should have been well expected to do exactly what they did in passing the details to the enemy.

  3. Peloni… the question is, who let the cat out of the bag to inform Hochstein… unless that person didn’t let the entire cat out of the bag?

  4. Any country who hosts terrorists should be ready with body bags. Isreal will continue the extrajudicial executions of these bad actors and anyone standing beside them is how it should be.

You hang with dogs, you get fleas.

  5. So Israel’s successful attacks on both Shukr and Haniyeh were completed even amidst massive security breaches on both attacks, recalling in addition to this report by Jafaj, the report about Hochstein. In fact, this report by Jafaj requires us to consider the likely possibility that Hochstein might have been the source for both security breaches.
