Dyer provides a granular review of the Israeli attack on Yemen and explains that this attack has acted to advance the possibility for the US to quickly end the Houthi reign of terror on international shipping and in Yemen. Israel’s assault on Yemen targeted many of the oil storage farms in the Houthi controlled territory, providing a massive logistical quandry for the terror enclave. Should the US choose to act, it could lead to strangling the Houthis into submission. Since the Israeli attack, the US and Britain have already conducted their own followup attack which was clearly inspired by Israel’s strategic coup d’grace. There is a great deal of valuable details shared in this report which also includes the description of the Houthi’s own on site UN supervisory mission.

Inevitably, emerging events demand comment before moving on to the main story here. The story is worth the telling. And even more so because of the excellent speech PM Netanyahu gave to a joint session of Congress today, and the mobs marauding in the streets of Washington, D.C. outside, pulling down the U.S. flags at Union Station – to replace them with “Palestinian” flags – while shouting “Allahu akbar” and waving the black flag of jihad, or ar-Raya.
The mob actions, which also including vandalizing U.S. public monuments, are a reminder that the war on Israel has already gone global. We’re not waiting for it to get to America’s doorstep. It’s already here.
That’s why it matters to take in the import of the Israeli air strikes on Yemen on 20 July. Israel’s strikes were the first that attempted to genuinely set the Houthis back and so deter them from fresh terrorism. The tale here is of a West pulling its punches and ignoring a serious deteriorating condition (the safety of global shipping); of Houthi terrorists openly assembling, and using, an infrastructure for hybrid warfare; of a UN mission cognizant and even complicit in the Houthi procurement scheme; of a U.S.-led coalition late to the table, but apparently equipped with plenty of intel; and of the catalyst Israel had to deliver to make all this clear and highlight that we could have done better months ago.

An extremely brilliant and thorough report, filled with vast quantities of facts and information about the Houthis petroleum resources and how well concealed they are. I am just not well informed enough about these matters to evaluate the technical aspects of this report, other to note that this author has certainly done his research. The “political” element in the report is highly significant, however, That a Centcom representative urged the Biden administration and senior U.S. military commanders to bomb the Houthis only after conferring with Israel’s military commanders who had directed Israel’s strike at the Houthis is very significant. Shows how much the U.S. military and National Security Council relies on advice and information from Israel to defend the United States and its interests, Further evidence that Israel pays its way for whatever arms and ammunition we get from the U.S.
The article this post links to is some good research. it’s obvious the Democratics know how to contain the Houthis, they just lack the WILL. A 14 yr.old who moved from playing video war games to running the U.S. military could solve this problem.
