Rubio and the $64,000 Question

Peloni:  While I don’t agree with Sundance’s ambivalence about who Trump’s running mate might be, I do agree with his preference of Ben Carson for the role.  In any event, Rubio must be avoided as a choice for running mate, if for no other reason than the support which he gave to the Russia Hoax, but there are more reasons than even this.

Treeper Question:

ICTHEMATRIX – […] “Related to the topic of discerning alignment via a question, I would like to sincerely ask you your thoughts on a very real possibility:

What are we to make of President Trump’s possible choice of Marco Rubio as his VP?

In many columns and pages, you have chronicled the multiple failure points of Senator Rubio…his service within the corrupted Intelligence committee, and his non-MAGA compromises. I fear this could become another massive moment of fatally poor judgement.”

The direct issue of the Vice-Presidential pick of Donald Trump is a fun topic often discussed because it can easily engage everyone.  The issue of Rubio or ‘fill_in_the_blank‘ is not really that important to me; and before your jaw opens, I’ll explain why.

My personal preference is Dr. Ben Carson for all the reasons I have previously mentioned {GO DEEP}.  In this election, GOOD is going head-to-head against EVIL.

When I say GOOD -vs- EVIL, let me give context.  These are the stakes. Given the nature of potential nuclear weapon use, three simultaneous global conflicts (likely 4 with Taiwan), a looming World War III, hundreds of thousands (perhaps millions) of slaughtered people, the likely elimination of the dollar as the global reserve currency for around half the world, a dollar-based central bank digital currency created by the United States Treasury if Biden wins; the catastrophic consequences in the lives of ordinary Americans, and essentially the end of projected USA power and the economic security that goes with it; there may not be a familiar tomorrow if the election goes the wrong way.   With that in mind, the lowest possible consideration in my mind is 2028.

Next up, put this thinking cream into your coffee as we sip through the thought processes.

They crossed the Rubicon in 2020 with 51 high ranking Gov Intel members purposefully and specifically lying to the public.  Does everyone realize the scale of that, and what it meant when they took that position on such an openly visible lie right to our faces, using our highest-ranking government intelligence members?  They don’t exactly come back from that; it was an all-in position…. and they did it.  What does that stuff in 2020 tell you about 2024?

What they will do, based on what they have already done, is the stuff we should be thinking about.

Look at what they have done.

This doesn’t even touch on the forced vaccination and COVID madness where people literally stood outside of buildings while their husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, grandparents and children died alone, ALONE, because government people – the type who torture beagles for a living – said that isolation was what we needed to do…. because that was part of the predicate for manipulating an election.

Lawfare?  Heck, that’s the least dangerous poison arrow in their death to the republic quiver.

That’s the 2024 context.

So back to the VP possibility and Marco Rubio.

I don’t have any idea who President Donald Trump will select.  However, I can see him liking Senator Rubio because Rubio is articulate, clean, relatively young, bilingual, has a family, is polite and well mannered, is cultured, is seemingly not in trouble and he gives a good impression when he walks into the room and engages the guests.   Rubio outwardly checks boxes that make him appear like a safe legacy consideration.

The downside is that Rubio is a manipulative liar, untrustworthy, speaks with forked tongue, fulfills the role of Brutus or the “scorpion” perfectly, and seemingly has done stuff early on in his life that may have created the origination compromise.  Beyond all that, the cherry on the corruption cake is his relationship with the Intelligence Community.  Any SSCI Vice-Chair who can sit with SSCI Chairman Mark Warner as a “friend across the aisle,” can never, not for a single moment, be trusted.  It’s just the reality of it.

That said, I genuinely don’t care who Trump selects as Vice-President.  I have my preference (Carson), but I’m situationally ambivalent to the issue because I view my preference for Trump’s mission as something totally different than most.

WE THE PEOPLE need to take back the power from our government.  I want President Trump to operate every lever from the limited office of the presidency to give us the tools to take back that power.  WE need to be the vice-president, and WE need to be the force in 2028 that determines how the deconstruction of our oppression continues.

President Donald J Trump is our weapon, our wrecking ball, to start this MAGA process.  We the People are the entities who need to support Trump, while keeping him fueled and fearless as he does it.   Depending on how much deconstruction demolition Trump is able to achieve, the next phase of operational leadership will need a different skillset.

Last point – I don’t believe that President Donald Trump has “massively failed” at anything.  I’m not going to backbite, judge or criticize the man in the arena because he wears a different sandal or chooses a different weapon to fight the enemy.  Look around, he’s all alone.

Go back to what I wrote in July, 2015, about Donald Trump. “Why I Support Donald Trump“… Long before anyone thought he had a chance; I explained the reason I would support him in 2015. [Part 2]

I said in 2015 if Donald Trump showed up to the August Fox debate in five-inch heels, a Carmen Miranda hat and started twerking the podium of Jeb Bush, I would vote for him even harder. …. Because Trump was the only one different than the set of characters organized to help Jeb.

President Trump isn’t the cause of the GOP problems, President Trump the result of the GOP problems. President Trump is our weapon. From that perspective, there is no alternative. And yes, he is the ONLY alternative. Whether he makes mistakes or not is a moot point against the reality of him being the only alternative to a completely corrupt system. Think about it.

There are quite enough high-horse riders and keyboard warriors who do not understand the DC system criticizing Trump. They don’t need my help. I cheer our glorious bastard every day because every ounce of his thinking and effort comes from a place of good intention. I do not doubt this fallible, flawed and simultaneously decent, strong, purposeful and resilient man.

Beyond 2024, good is going to have to battle Evil, and at the same time our nation will need stability, optimism and a resurgence of faith.  In short, no one is winning this political war without putting God, righteousness and prayer at the forefront as the DC tables are overturned.

When it gets ugly, and it will get extremely ugly, something just inherently tells me, we will need Ben Carson.

  1. I think we can rely on President Trump to make a wise choice for his running mate. No need to speculate or even advise him.

  2. Tom Cotton for a short while was listed a potential VP candidate but this is gone now I believe. He would make a good POTUS but I do not believe would expand the voter base for Trump, which is one of the criteria in picking a VP candidate after making sure they are qualified to be POTUS.

  3. @peloni – Sorry but I make my own judgements and as you have worldview that I do not understand you badmouthing and name calling Rubio has no influence. Thanks anyway but my guess is you were not trying to influence me but slam Rubio.

Trump’s base will vote for Trump whether some Trump supporters like you do not approve of Rubio or not. Expanding the voter base for Trump should be an objective of Trump and his close advisor’s making the call on the VP choice.

Are they calling you this Peloni, what do you think? They are not calling me either.

Rubio is a venerate Neocon, which may not disgust you, but it should concern you. As a member of the Gang of Eight, Rubio was well aware of the fraud being perpetrated against the American people in its support of the Russia Hoax. He was personally responsible for supporting the Intel driven narrative which permitted the Mueller probe and all the claptrap that went with it. He is a bad guy, a bad choice, a venerate liar, and a part of the problem which Trump is suppose to solve with his return to the White House.

Would you support someone who supported the Russia Hoax? I would not, and I would argue nor should Trump.

We will see what Trump decides, but choosing Rubio would be a great challenge for his base to accept.

Good points, all. My preference for Carson is that he specifically embodies the MAGA movement, an essential characteristic for any VP choice, IMO. While you are correct that Trump needs no electoral ally in beating Biden, he is not running against Biden but rather the public-private-Intel cooperative behind the election fraud which masked Trump’s victory back in 2020 and also transformed the Red Tsunami of 2022 into a Red Puddle. The question is whether Trump should defy the RINOs and see the country left in the hands of Biden, or should he partner up with them once again as he did with the Pence pick back in 2016 which was most unfortunate.

While there are consequences and threats aplenty from choosing RINO vs MAGA as a running mate, this choice will likely decide many aspects of what we will see coming into the fall. I count myself among the many who see a RINO pick as a road we have traveled once before, a road which led us to the captured status in which we find ourselves today, and yes, a road I hope is not once more travelled as we move forward.

Left to my own desires, I am not sure who might be the proper choice to choose, but as you noted I really would prefer someone not on that list, while I think Carson is still the best of the bunch and a fair choice at that, with your observations duly noted. Hopefully, Trump will surprise us all as you suspect. That was not how it went in 2016 as I recall, however, but of course, in 2016 Trump did not have the past 8yrs as a reference for choosing poorly as he did at that time.

  6. There is lots to agree with in this article. However, I am not so sure Mr. Carson has the strength to do what needs to be done. We need a man who is a warrior like Trump. A man who has the emotional fortitude and mental capacity to fight to the death. A Brave heart if you will. I personally like Carson, and there is much to admire about the man. I just see him as to meek and mild to be able to handle the job that lays ahead for Trump and his V.P. A friend had personal dealings with Carson. I ask what was he like? Just as he appears in public, a very meek, mild, kind, gentle soul. A man who treats his patients as if they part of his own family.

The short list of names for V.P. being floated about, I personally don’t think any of them will be chosen, nor do I think they have what I’m looking for. But due to not personally knowing any of them and spending time with them. I might be pleasantly surprised. My personal belief at this time is Trump is doing the rope-a-dope, and when he makes a choice, it will be somebody outside of politics. Most men running for President need a V.P. that can help pull them across the finish line. Trump needs no one to help him across. Biden, has already paved the road to the White House for Trump.
