  1. Apparently, there is a difference of opinion as to whether UNSC CH VI resolutions are binding. For purpose of argument, let us assume they are. If Israel chooses to not be bound by it she can be expelled pursuant toArticle 6 of the Charter.

    Article 6 of the Charter reads as follows: “A Member of the United Nations which has persistently violated the Principles contained in the present Charter may be expelled from the Organization by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council.”

    When there is a CH VII resolution, the UN can authorize force. But the UN has no army. But if it is passed, others can use their armies on behalf of the UN.
