  1. I have GERD, too. 😀

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a common condition in which the stomach contents move up into the esophagus. Reflux becomes a disease when it causes frequent or severe symptoms or injury. Reflux may damage the esophagus, pharynx or respiratory tract.

  2. This will bring to a head two matters – population control despite religious conservatism – on which a start and a little progress has been made but a lot more is necessary.
Second taking water conservation seriously as in Israel: drip irrigation; cutting thirsty crops like cotton for staples like wheat. waste water recuperation in towns for irrigating market garden agriculture and orchards next to towns.
Solar powered desalination so as to increase or even start the coastal agricultural belt preferably with (greenhouse) cash crops.
Finally going up Nille for anything is not militarily easy ref Aida, Fashoda and Col Hicks. Historically as in Mesopotamia the up river powers have the advantage so Egypt will need some careful consistennt diplomacy.
