We know that Israel wants to continue until Hamas is destroyed, but the question is, ‘can they resist world pressure until the job is done?’. Israel has never been able to resist world/US pressure for very long. The next question is whether or not Israel can keep Gaza clean after their operation is over. This too will be heavily dependent on world pressure, and on Israel’s ability to resist it.
