Speaking to a gathering of his AK party faction in parliament, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says that Israel “can view Hamas as a terrorist organization along with the West. The West owes you a lot. But Turkey does not owe you anything.”

“Hamas is not a terrorist organization, it is a group of mujahideen defending their lands,” he says to a standing ovation.

Erdogan also says he is canceling plans to visit Israel because of its “inhumane” war.

“We had a project to go to Israel, but it was canceled, we will not go,” Erdogan says.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, speaking in Qatar, accuses Israel of “a crime against humanity” in its campaign in Gaza.

“Targeting our Palestinian brothers, including children, patients and the elderly, even in schools, hospitals and mosques, is a crime against humanity,” he says, alongside Qatari FM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

  1. Of course, Erdogan intentionally omits the Map designed in July 1922, so from the time of the existence of the League of Nations [1919-1946]

So, here is the solution for Two States conceived a hundred years ago, but rejected since then, and until today, by ONE of the Two parties…

Does anyone want to inform Mr. President Erdogan about this historical document?
We think it’s a shame that His Excellency knows nothing about this wonderful chance to reach peace in that region…

  2. Erdogan has always looked kindly on the genocide of peoples he dislikes. Ask the Armenians and the Kurds. Israel should have nothing to do with him. He’s a butcher in a suit.

On a related matter, one of the “pundits” thinks Israel and Turkey may come to blows in the near future. Israel clearly can’t match the forces of Turkey, let alone Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas, man-for man. I hope therefore that Israel has been spending its time and money wisely, to improve the quality of it’s military forces. Tanks, even good tanks, such as the Merkava’s are now just rolling targets as we have seen in Ukraine, so Israel can’t depend too much on them anymore. Artillery is not much good either if you don’t have shells, (thanks a lot Joe Biden). I have heard talk of Israel using a laser system for missile defense, but it is not considered fully operational yet. The point is that Israel MUST up its game if it intends to survive, and it better do it fast.

P.S. Erdogan’s maps are hokey distortions of history. Don’t let him get away with that. He has no valid evidence that Eretz Israel is anything but Jewish.
