Blinken Joins Hamas Ally in Calling for ‘Ceasefire’

T. Belman. Biden should be asking what Israel wants to do rather than ignoring what she wants and once again imposing the US on Israel

Despicable even for this administration.

It didn’t take long.

On October 8th, Secretary of State Blinken tweeted that, “Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and I spoke further on Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel. I encouraged Türkiye’s advocacy for a cease-fire and the release of all hostages held by Hamas immediately.”

As FDD’s Jonathan Schanzer, a former terror finance analyst at the Treasury Department pointed out, “Hakan Fidan was the intelligence chief who presided over the establishment of a Hamas headquarters in Turkey that included an active terrorist commander directing attacks in the West Bank, Saleh al-Arouri.”

Turkey’s Islamist dictator, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is an open supporter of Islamic terrorism who had previously tweeted that, “Hamas is not a terrorist organization and Palestinians are not terrorists. It is a resistance movement that defends the Palestinian homeland against an occupying power. The world stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine against their oppressors.”

Fidan has welcomed and met with Hamas terrorist leaders.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met on Saturday with a large delegation of Hamas leadership, including the extremist group’s leader Ismail Haniyeh and deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri, both of whom have a $5 mln bounty on their heads after being designated as terrorists by the US.

Erdogan also received the chairman of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh alongside the accompanying delegation at Istanbul’s Vahdettin Palace, according to state broadcaster TRT.

Hamas partly operates out of Turkey.

Several senior leaders of Hamas and their families now live permanently in Turkey, and some have received Turkish passports. In addition to engaging in terrorism, the Hamas officials have also established their own businesses. Ismail Haniyeh’s son, Hazem, moved his family from Gaza to Turkey, meaning that the Hamas head has transferred almost his entire family from Qatar and Gaza to Turkey.

Endorsing calls for a cease fire by a Hamas ally in the aftermath of the mass murder of Israelis is despicable even for this administration.

  1. They butcher our people with steady ease and a sense of impunity, leaving death and destruction of thousands in their wake, collect our women as their sexual trophies, and pen our children like livestock. This inhuman pestilence is nothing with which we might negotiate, but rather they must be erased from the ranks of the living. Their complete annihilation must be the limit of our tolerance, and it should so too be the limit of any terms of negotiations. War is the only conversation to be had at this time, and it must be terrible in its effect and savage in its goal. This goes beyond any consideration of politics or diplomacy. The survival of the state requires these motivations to be our only path, and there can be no diversions which might distract us from the resolve in traversing it with speed and determination.

  2. I agree, it is despicable. Blinken, on one of the Sunday talk shows:

    https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/10/08/sunday-talks-shameless-anthony-blinken-says-u-s-not-sure-of-american-casualties-or-hostages-says-administration-does-not-know-hamas-motive/

showed his shamelessness by pretending not to know Hamas’s motive for their attack. In addition, he spoke in long rambling sentences with a lot of words that had little meaning.

It was as if he knows full well that he participated in causing this war, and felt it was better to babble meaninglessly than admit his responsibility for the carnage and destruction he, Biden, and Obama caused.

Of course the pretenders will pretend to want peace, and pressure Israel to stand down.

Israel cannot and must not until the enemy is defeated.

Naturally the current US administration is afraid of war with Iran. But they brought this on, so they will have to live with the consequences.

The world has so far condemned Hamas and Iran in words. I understand people from around the world are coming to Israel to help fight.

This attack on the Israeli people was 12X greater than the attack on 9/11.

The world needs to understand this to get it in perspective.

Israel and the Jewish people will overcome and defeat the soulless murderers who attacked innocent babies, women, the elderly, and whole families.
