American Officials: Ukraine Peace Talks Unlikely This Year

T. Belman. This article makes it sound like Zelensky is in charge. Wrong, the US is calling all the shots.

The US isn’t ready to make a deal any time soon. The US does not want to agree to anything. It would rather maintain the conflict rather then end it on terms favourable to Russia. The result of such a stance will be to compel Russia to take over all the land west of the Dnipro River plus Odessa and Kiev. And thus Ukraine will cease to exist.

DEEP STATE TRIBUNAL

American intelligence officials do not believe there will be negotiations to end the war between Russia and Ukraine this year, according to the trove of recently-released Pentagon documents.

Despite a stalemate throughout much of the country and a pitched battle over the eastern city of Bakhmut, neither Russia nor Ukraine will likely come to the table soon, according to assessments in the leaked documents.

Should the war continue, American officials believe Ukraine will likely mobilize its remaining population.

The Pentagon also believes that Ukraine may launch more strikes in Russian territory. One leaked document described an effort by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to launch strikes in Russia and nearby Belarus.

The leaked documents appear to show that Russia has suffered fewer casualties than reported in the media.

Some powers, including China, have called for peace negotiations to try to end the war. Chinese President Xi Jinping called for negotiations “as soon as possible.”

No plans for negotiations have been released.

The investigation surrounding the leaked documents led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira this week.

Teixeira is accused of releasing the documents on Discord, which then spread to other online forums. It is estimated that more than 100 sensitive documents were leaked.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who recently announced a 2024 bid for the White House, called the leak a “massive, catastrophic occurrence that should never have happened.”

Former President Donald Trump has called for negotiations between each side in the war, warning that the conflict could spiral out of control.

Some Republicans have also called for a full accounting of American soldiers in Ukraine, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). The leaked documents revealed that there are several dozen U.S. forces in that country.

Taylor Greene said that “many are calling Jake Teixeira a hero” on Twitter this week for “pulling back the flimsy transparent curtain and revealing what we suspected all along.”
