In the news today, JOe Biden goes to Ukraine. Unbelievable. I would say…. one should be careful arguing from an apocalyptic and eschatology perspective. It might happened…. but probably not all at once nor in our lifetime.
@Michael
Remember that I told you so.
Fairly noted. I still believe you are as wrong as rain falling upwards, but time will tell.
I do question the how of it, though. Since Ukraine is only able to seize territories which are either abandoned or lightly guarded, as took place in this past fall, and Russia has more men than Ukraine has people, and that woud also include the potential for Ukrainians drafting down to their 12yr olds. I know you thing that the US and Europe have deep pockets, but they do not have the manufacturing means to follow thru without turning their economies into a war footing, which they will not do in the midst of an expanding recession. The have certainly not done so thus far, to be sure, though Russia certainly has. Money can’t buy you love, and it can’t buy you producing factories overnight either. These things take time, and Ukraine is back to incrementally failing again, much as she did all last spring and summer. So, just curious how you think the West will find the means to fight this war when they couldn’t even find the tanks they already promised to send, which were a pittance of the hundreds of tanks which the Ukrainians stated they needed to keep them from being destroyed. Still, war is a terrible thing, and while you know what you put into it, you never know for sure what will come out of it, so we will see, but I do wonder where the armaments are coming from which Ukraine needs, not next year, next fall, or next week…they need them now, and they aren’t getting them.
Scott Ritter, and your whole choir here, listen to me:
Russia will be crushed. China will be crushed. Iran will be crushed. The Vatican and its Church will be crushed. All the world will say, “Who is like (some great one — Biden? It doesn’t matter)! ISRAEL WILL BE OCCUPIED, LOOTED AND RAPED, then America and its allies will be crushed…
…and there’s not a thing you will be able to do about it.
Remember that I told you so.

I quite agree with everything you state, except for the notion that Russia will eliminate the gremlin in the green T-shirt. Indeed, the elimination of someone so obviously captured as the tool of others would actually make his removal counterproductive to Russia’s interests. In fact, I would suggest that his elimination would actually come to prolong the conflict rather than end it. Such an unforced error would only serve to endear Zelensky’s fan club to his martyred goal of sending more arms if not troops to further this fight which can not be won at any cost. Indeed, I am struck by the humor of his next demand being that the US and her allies must begin turning over their aircraft carriers to Ukraine to grant them some new advantage which they can not wield against a force which they can not defeat. As silly a notion as this stands today, it might only be the end of the week before this buffoon presents such demands to the relevant nations.
On a more serious point, I would argue that it is actually Ukraine, or more specifically the War Hawk drama queens in the US Deep State, which stand more to gain by the removal of this nearly useless cheerleader-against-arms-control as he may well be able to give a greater performance from the grave than he ever did while soiling the halls of Congress with his pleas to feed his war against the Russian people.
In any event, however, Russia could have no purpose in offering this rube the role of playing the martyr. They will, I believe, choose the wiser path as they have in most aspects of this conflict, and leave his assassination for either the Nazis or the CIA to accomplish without them. Following this, no doubt, the involved party will come to blame the deed on the Russians, even if the assassin is caught on live video wearing an Azov sweater and waving a sign stating ‘death to Putin’.
Look, listen to the video. We and NATO have run out if ammunition. We have no more to give them by this Summer. Weal link is artillery. It’s public info that the Pentagon has said out loud that Ukraine is wasting ammunition. We produce 100,000 rounds a month and Ukraine uses 110,000 shells a week. We are asking Israel for help.
IT IS OVER. Biden has to let Zelensky sue for peace – NOW – if he wants any country left. Period. But the Democrats are insane and think they will defeat Putin. Biden/Obama are ignorant and evil.

Zelensky like Putin will sacrifice every man in his country. Russia has more men. It is over.
Zelensky will sue for peace this year or Russia will have him taken out. This is a crushing defeat for the Biden/Obama Administration.

Michael you support Ukraine.
Have you an opinion…what will be the position of Jews there if this Bandera philosophy is victorious?

From Sec. Gen Stoltenberg: THE WAR STARTED IN 2014!
The other thing I would say is that the war didn’t start in February last year. The war started in 2014 and since 2014, NATO allies have provided support to Ukraine with training with equipment, so the Ukrainian armed forces were much stronger in 2022 than they were in 2014.
When I first heard of this report, I suspected rather strongly that the comments were taken out of context, or that Stoltenberg mispoke and was quoted correctly but without clarification. I have since watched the video, and Stoltenberg could not have been more clear and more specific in his assertion. Of course, this will not be very revealing to many. It may however be instructive for those who disbelieved that this war began back in 2014 that the head of NATO, himself, has acknowledged this is indeed the case. In fact, this might be Stoltenberg’s only positive contribution as leader of NATO, but in admitting what I would suggest should really have been an obvious fact to everyone, he has at least provided us with this clarification which should serve to finally end the debate as to the relevance or purpose of the outbreak of violence which began back in 2014 upon the current crisis between Russia and Ukraine.
