“…no one is allowed to touch those records until the markings are addressed.”

12.8.22While not even president, former President Donald Trump continues to be at the center of Washington, D.C. as the FBI raided his residence at Mar-a-Lago, claiming he possessed classified material. Although the raid was a surprise to many Republicans and the media, it came months after federal investigators removed what they suggested were national security documents from Trump’s property. That was in June. But with new evidence and even a witness, the FBI raided his Florida property, hoping to once again find a treasure trove of classified documents. But according to the Pentagon Chief of Staff for the Trump administration, Kash Patel, they are doing nothing more than wasting time.
Appearing on The Joe Pags Show, with host Joe Pagliarulo, Kash Patel detailed how the FBI will find nothing on Donald Trump. While they might not find any sensitive material, Patel did admit that the raid proved one thing – the death of due process. Not only did Patel admit the FBI will come up empty-handed, he walked viewers through the entire process of how Trump declassified countless documents before he left the White House, believing Americans had a right to know what the government was doing. Take a look.
And while some might believe Kash Patel is only defending Donald Trump, back in May, he told Breitbart News the same thing. “Trump declassified whole sets of materials in anticipation of leaving government that he thought the American public should have the right to read themselves. It’s information that Trump felt spoke to matters regarding everything from Russiagate to the Ukraine impeachment fiasco to major national security matters of great public importance — anything the president felt the American people had a right to know is in there and more,” Patel said then, adding that he was with Trump when the then-president said, “We are declassifying this information.”

On the other side of the aisle, Richard Immerman stated that while the president has the authority to declassify documents, there is a formal process. “He can’t just wave a wand and say it’s declassified. There has to be a formal process. That’s the only way the system can work. I’ve seen thousands of declassified documents. They’re all marked ‘declassified’ with the date they were declassified.” It should be noted that Immerman was the assistant deputy director of national intelligence for former President Barack Obama.
Another critic of Donald Trump, Bradley Moss, who is a lawyer, chimed in, admitting, “That’s not how it works. Trump could say we’re declassifying this until he’s blue in the face, but no one is allowed to touch those records until the markings are addressed.”
@Edgar
Given Navarro’s claims of the role that Kushner played in opposing/undermining the Trump China policy, and the even more egregious role which he played in crippling the US with the Lockdown policy and blocking the election fraud investigation, I find him to have performed a strikingly malignant role, a role that he seems to be trying to still pursue with this latest tell all tale. Dermer and Friedman have both denied the silly stories of Bibi opposing Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as being false, while Navarro and Jeffrey Tucker have testified to and confirmed, respectively, the damaging role to America played by Kushner in Trump’s presidency, particularly in the pivotal year of 2020.
@PELONI_
That guy Kushner must be half- crazy. Now he says that Netanyahu tried many time to prevent Trump from recognising Jerusalem. The “former ambassador” likely Friedman, says that’s not true , totally false.
So Kushner seems to have a hate going on for both his father-in-law and Netanyahu……/ Malignant or maladjusted upbringing…??
@Edgar
Yes, it was sourced from Kushner’s book. They are slow rolling the revelations for maximum effect, though I think they will fail to create much of a change in Trump’s strength in the way that they desire, in any event. The reality is that there is a relationship that has been created between the American people and Trump for which the Deep State and their operatives/supporters have yet to find any useful chink in this relationship to work a meaningful divide. The constant attacks, personal and legal, are not diminishing Trump in the eyes of the public. Rather, I believe, the vicious nature of the attacks along with the unprecedented illegality and personal abuses employed against him are strengthening the bind between Trump and the people as well as broadening his support. As Trump stated, we are at a very dangerous point in history, but that is exactly what the Deep State are wishing to create.

@PELONI-
A question….I saw in today’s Arutz 7 that Kushner most recent revelation is that Trump sought a meeting with Clinton in 2016, after the election.
I assume but don’t know, that they are all from the same source (Kushner’s book) and that the news clowns are squeezing a little at a time out of it to keep themselves in the public (reporting’) eye.
Like a tube of toothpaste.
@Michael
This is a very interesting point, which I would also be quite interested to hear who the culprit might be.
Hi, Peloni.
Crossfire Hurricaine, RussiaRussiaRussia… More and more, it seems like the Feds are busy trying to cover their butts over those malicious capers. The more people become aware of this, the more quickly the whole leaky Dem ship will sink.
I REALLY want to know who the raiders’ contact and “whistleblower” is.

Among other things that Solmon discusses is this:
@Reader
Actually, if you were correct, then the president would not have the authority to declassify anything, he would be a pawn of the administrators who mark the documents. As I say, this was a perfect parable for the war of attrition waged against the only elected member of the executive branch, by a bunch of non-elected beurocrats. The president is the choice of the people, expressly embued with the task of leading the nation as indicated by the consent of the governed as expressed by the votes the governed cast for him. The beurocrats within the executive branch are simply employed to work the will of the people as decided by the president whom they empowered to run the executive branch.
Consequently, the markings only indicate the status of the document, classified or not, as indicated by the will of the president. If the president has expressly changed the classification of a given document, and the document does not reflect that change, which is actually true – the president falsely claimed to have changed the classification status, or that the classification status is falsely documented as unchanged?
The president is not an extension of the administrative state. They are an extension of his policy. He doesn’t serve them, they serve him. He holds and controls the power of the govt office which he was elected to hold, while they are to exercise whatever administrative actions as needed to support his decisions – for them to do anything less than this would lie somewhere between malfeasance and treason.
@peloni
He cannot just say the magic words and make it happen.
If the docs haven’t been properly marked as declassified, it means they were simply stolen (to be held at someone’s personal residence, it looks like).
@Michael Kushner’s autobiography appears to be a hatchet job against Netanyahu and the Trump administration.
Hi, Sebastien.
I noticed this a few hours ago — all of it repeats in the MSM. Might be true, might not. What’s probable, is that this will create a disinformation fog around the Biden malfeasanse in the illegal FBI raid, in Biden’s outright treasonous selling of our oil reserves to PR China, the current economic disaster, war gone sour in the Ukraine, the whole nine yards, re-directing people’s attention toward evil within the Trump family.

Trump: “I’m declassifying it all”
Deep State: “You can’t do that, your just the highest elected official in the nation”
Trump: “It’s done”
Deep State: “Not til WE say it is, it’s not”
This back and forth over the declassification of intelligence speaks directly to the war between the Deep State and the Elected leadership which characterized Trump’s entire presidency, and continues to this day. Is the President the president, or is he something more akin to at best an advisor or at worst a spokesman for the Deep State. The arrogance of the Administrators who rule over the nation have lost their tether to reality and have come first to wage war upon their president and now continue that war by waging it upon the people and the president. The delusional state of these Deep State operatives is such that they act as the infamous Emperor who had no clothes, and expect the people, by intimidation of constant threat to ignore their public nudity. It is a sad fact, but a certain fact, that the Administrative State stands fully exposed, and have still not accepted the reality that the process which they provide is intended to support, not supplant, the will of the people which is enacted thru the exercised judgement of their elected officials, and this includes President Trump.
