Russia demands to convene the UN Security Council because of the Ukrainian provocation in Bucha

Fake news about Russia’s special operation in Ukraine

Russia demanded to convene a meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) because of the Ukrainian fake about the “mass killings” in Bucha. This was stated by Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky.

“In light of the flagrant provocation of Ukrainian radicals in Bucha, Russia demanded the convening of a meeting of the UN Security Council on the afternoon of Monday April 4,” Dmitry Polyansky wrote in his telegram channel. He stated that he intends to bring to light those involved in the spread of this fake: “deceived Ukrainian provocateurs and their Western patrons.”

Russia had previously launched a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the decision to conduct a special operation forced. During the special operation, Ukraine was repeatedly accused of substituting facts and creating fakes. So, for example, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine published footage from the game Arma3 as confirmation of the destruction of Russian helicopters over Kherson. The statement of the Ukrainian side about “mass killings” in the city of Bucha, which was refuted by the Russian Ministry of Defense , was no exception . On the bodies, given out as “victims of the occupation”, identification marks of the Russian military were seen .

  1. Israel has been one of 93 countries to vote that Russia be suspended from the Human Rights Council, even as the Pentagon previously stated they had no information that the Russians had committed the crimes at Bucha. This was a very bad mistake on Israel’s part. Due process is the route by which all are protected, and failing to expect such standards to be adhered to only results in all nations being the next potential pariah targeted by the this evil institution, something that Israel has a long history of experiencing, herself.

I don’t believe the Russians likely committed these crimes, for a host of reasons, but the truth is not known and is not even being pursued, as truth or evidence is quite beyond the interest of an already established commitment of damning the Russians, regardless of their culpability. I do not believe Israel’s vote on this matter will pass without notice by the Russians.

  2. Thanks, Peloni.

    oh, the irony.

I agree. This whole war was deliberately provoked by Joseph R. Biden, to draw attention away from his failed COVAX, Jan. 6, Hunter, Afghanistan and other policies — innocent blood shed to cover HIS ass.

The Russians called for a UNSC meeting yesterday afternoon. The response by US, among others, was to charge that the Russians would continue to use the UN as a vehicle for their presumed disinformation campaign. This morning the Russians charged that Britain, who needs to call the meeting due to procedure, was blocking the Russian demand for a meeting today. A little over an hour later, Britain announced there would be a meeting called, but for tomorrow. Thanks for catching that. It is quite outrageous that they would prohibit the Russians from making their case…almost as if the Russians were to be treated as the censored citizens of the US or UK…oh, the irony.

  4. Peloni,

Bucha massacre – Britain convenes a meeting of the UN Security Council over the crimes of Russians in Ukraine – UNIAN
    April 4, 2022…

This was reported in Twitter Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations Barbara Woodward.

“The United Kingdom is convening a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine tomorrow. We will discuss increasing evidence of war crimes, including from Bucha. We will use our presidency of the Security Council to ensure transparency, accountability and fairness,” the statement said

Someone seems to be skewing the truth here.

  5. “Britain blocks UN Security Council session over Ukraine’s Bucha situation”

The supposed purpose of the UN was to provide a forum for parties to discuss and address conflicting issues before a world body to prevent escalations that could be prevented. Yet, the UK, again once more acting in a very undemocratic fashion, has seen fit to block a conversation which might discuss and reveal a balanced input to the conversation of war crimes by an accused party. Why would Britain prevent Russia from providing what evidence they have to demonstrate their innocence, presuming they have such, and, even presuming that they don’t, why would Britain press Russia to present their case before the world and reinforce the UK position of defending Ukraine. In fact, why would the UK not call for an immediate investigation into the war crimes that were, in fact, committed by one side or the other, each having the possibility of having been guilty of this crime. Autopsies and forensic evidence from the crime scene should be pursued by an approved group of international parties – to demonstrate the involvement of one side or the other.

The fact these matters are not being openly discussed, that the Russians are being blocked from discussing their case such as it might be before the UN, and a lack of any interest in demonstrating a sense of judicious interest in finding some element of truth about these matters, all provide a greater likelihood that this is yet another false flag operation which the UK, at least, is likely aware. This is criminal. The UN should immediately allow a UNSC meeting and pursue a subsequent investigation into this matter. The truth is that these types of crimes have been progressing over the past 8yrs with no outcry by the Ukrainians or the West. By itself, this does not remove the possibility that Russia is involved in these current crimes, but a lack of any interest in allowing them to present their defense seems quite an interesting development, by itself.

  6. This is very good news. Russia must answer these lies. This is what Martin Sherman always advocated. In such situations.
