I think that “Archie” has gone off the deep end! His diatribe sounds like a rehashed version of “Jewish Bankers” being the source of oppression of the downtroden of America.
Conservatism is receiving payback from the left for years of right wing violence against the left. From Cold War street level McCarthyism to hippies and gays getting the crap beat out of them in the 1960’s to the recent past, right wingers got a bit of Karma to answer for. I know you cringe at the word “Karma”, but damn, make your bed and sleep in it.
Republicans, the American GOP used to be progressives – Lincolnsonian Republicans. But the GOP became so corrupted by the Wall St. fat cats after the turn of the century that Teddy Roosevelt splintered into the Bull Moose Party or Progressive Party, the actual name of record. Progressive.
Throughout the Cold War the Rockefeller CIA oligarchs ran the American imperialist war against reform and self determination in the 3rd Word via assassinations and invasions. ANYONE wanting land for the peasants, economic control over their raw materials, democracy, was deemed an enemy. Mind you, answering those wants were part and parcel of 19th century republicanism. Republicanism was in opposition to the plantation breeder slave holder landed aristocracy and their classic British liberal wage slave work house technocrats. ALL revolutions against tyranny, including the USA’s revolution of 1776, up to the time of Marx, were republican revolutions. ALL. That bastard assassinated JFK and there will be some much delayed comeuppance for world conservatism.
So conservatives find themselves with their butts to the wall, an ambience to which they will adapt or die. The forms which that adaptation will take are up for grabs. One form might be the abandonment and repudiation of 19th century “Social Darwinism” and that Malthusian “survival of the fittest” claptrap. It appear that in the present era Mr. Darwin is opting for survival of the smartest, eh? So conservatives get smarter faster or see you in the rearview.
Technology has basically ended the struggle for survival on this planet. Conservative scarcity-based feudal warlordism is obsolete in a world of scientific and technological plenty. We now live in a surplus-based realm of potential. The right can either update and upgrade to this economic cornucopia or see you in the rearview. And yes, I am a Donald Trump conservative, patriot and republican… “progressive conservative”, a new concept for you. I see things that others don’t. Get busy, or the new Darwin will yank yer beard out by the roots.
Candace has come a long way since she made the unfortunate remarks about Hitler. She won’t make that mistake again.
She values education so much that she has hired a tutor in each field she wants to understand better. She said this was to prepare her for higher office, like being President.

PM Harper was a very good leader, his absence from the Canadian govt is a great loss. To go from Harper to Treudeau was quite a blow, and quite a swing to the Left. Treudeau is completely aligned with the globalist agenda and I find his ability to have survived reelection last year, so closely timed to the election fraud in the US, as suspect, if not related. In truth, I do not believe the Canadian public have ventured so Left as to have supported his reelection, even with a minority govt. I have, however, not heard of any such suspicions. Have you heard of any such suspicions?
I was proud to be a Canadian especially when Harper was Prime Minister.
