Sorry. My repetition of “for years” in my above comment must have been because I was thinking of the long length of these anti-Jewish campaigns, but it did not represent good grammar.
I am pounding the table to say I see no reason why Israel should give some of the tiny territory legally allotted for the Jewish homeland (i.e., Western Palestine) to people who have been trying for years to terrorize and kill Jews and Israelis for years. Naturally, I do not include all Palestinian Arabs in this. But their leaders have always incited violence against the Jews, who are legally in Israel, including the so-called West Bank (Judea and Samaria). I like Martin Sherman’s idea of incentivizing Palestinian Arabs to go elsewhere, though I know that at present King Abdullah doesn’t want more of them in Jordan.
