Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland is attempting to put a chill in the air over states deciding to audit the 2020 elections.
Speaking on Friday regarding what the left misleadingly terms “voting rights” (all eligible adult U.S. citizens already have voting rights), Garland issued a not-so-subtle threat to states that are doing election audits.

The Department of Justice’s threat is a red flag to states that the federal government is poised to intervene if states conduct election audits. This should be prompting Republican-led legislatures to begin doing election audits immediately and passing voter integrity laws. The Democratic Party is obviously greatly concerned that elections in the U.S. scrutinize the eligibility of voters to cast ballots in state elections.
“We are scrutinizing new laws that seek to curb voter access and where we see violations we will not hesitate to act,” he said. “We are also scrutinizing current laws and practices in order to determine whether they discredit against black voters and other voters of color. Particularly concerning with in this regard are several studies showing that in some jurisdictions nonwhite voters must wait in line substantially longer than white voters to cast their ballots.”
“The Department of Justice will apply the same scrutiny to postelection audits, according to Garland, to make sure the election reviews fall in line with federal laws meant to protect records and guard against voter intimidation,” the Epoch Times reported.
“Garland referenced the audit taking place in Maricopa County, Arizona, on the orders of the Republican-controlled Senate in the state, noting that the Department of Justice previously sent a letter to Arizona Senate President Karen Fann expressing concern about the review,” the report continued. “Fann said in a response letter that the audit was secure and that a previous plan to canvass some voters was on hold indefinitely. The attempted intervention lacked constitutional authority, experts told The Epoch Times.”
There are absolutely no laws that will “restrict” access for those who can prove they have a right to vote in U.S. elections. A major study conducted by the National Bureau of Economic Research based on ten-years of voting data in the United States from 2008-2018 found that voter ID laws “have no negative effect on registration or turnout, overall or for any group defined by race, gender, age, or party affiliation.” The study was conducted by Enrico Cantoni at the University of Bologna and Vincent Pons at Harvard Business School and was published in February 2019.
This international study has been supported by additional research on the issue. “This latest [NBER] study echoes the conclusion of others, including a landmark report by The Heritage Foundation in 2007 finding that voter ID laws don’t reduce voter turnout, including among African-Americans and Hispanics,” the Heritage Foundation noted. “These voters were just as likely to vote in states requiring photo identification as in those that don’t.” Even left-leaning Vox News conceded that voter ID laws don’t reduce election turnout.
The Department of Justice is thus threatening states based on outright lies about voter integrity laws. This should be spurring red states to mobilize and pass the laws as soon as possible.

Two updates breaking from GA
Fulton County Election Official Admits Chain of Custody Documents Missing for 2020 Absentee Ballots Deposited in Drop Boxes
GA Election Fraud Case Attorneys Subpoena Fulton Election Officials For Deposition
Patrick Byrne released this message a couple of hours ago.
Here is Patrick Byrne’s statement
It should be recalled that I shared an article last week where the NASS and NASED(defined in the Byrnes statement below) arranged a meeting with certain global elements even while the US was in the very first few months of the US lockdown to setup ‘preparations’ for the ‘observation’ of the US 2020 election. These global elements included Facebook, the UN, Smartmatic, among many others. Here is that article citatation for any who missed it – it is all relevant to the Byrne’s statement above.

Very concerning information on the machines has come to light and is discussed in the article below. If you are familiar with SQL queries(searches), this short explanation will be useless for you, and you should skip to the article below. If anyone isn’t familar with SQL queries, this might help, I hope:
I heard about this being a likely possible issue with the electn machines from an associate who is knowledgeable of computer programing. Looks like his guess might have been accurate.
For those who are unaware, SQL software is used to interact with an existing database, such as the election rolls.
SQL is used to maintain or modify databases of often very large number of records such as, say, Walmart’s venders list or transactions credit card transactions or… It is very useful way to search/modify a large body of records.
It can be used to search, edit or delete sections of a database or an entire database.
You can think of the SQL being a way to search or access or modify a given section of a database(or the entire database) using a command.
This command will sort the thousands or millions of records contained in the database based upon some distinguishing characteristic which specifies the target of the command.
Like going to a library and pulling up all the books on cooking or just the ones depicting Chinese cooking or just the ones….you get the idea. Those records could be accessed, copied, deleted….again, you get the idea.
Hope this doesn’t make the story more confusing.
The implications are pretty significant as SQL is intended to make use of a database towards some purpose. The election rolls would reasonably be concluded to be the database in question and a legitimate purpose of the queries on this database are open to speculation.

@peloni1986 Thanks. Your writing/observations is/are more enjoyable than my short question.
@Ted Belman
It would seem these alphabet agencies would like people to accept that they are hiding nothing as they are simultaneously going to illegal measures of hiding everything.
Further than this, they have actually taken part in at least one case of willful destruction of evidence, in GA and that was while Trump was still in office.
The DOJ/FBI remain a partisan activist group, much as it was under Trump, only under Trump they worked at odds with the administration rather than for the administration.
DEPERNO: “A source tells me Merrick Garland and the DOJ are weighing two options: 1) shut down the AZ audit by seizing everything now or 2) allowing the results to be published. They are debating the anger of 72 million voters vs. the potential decertification of multiple states.”
@greenrobot
Greenrobot, I congratulate you upon your superior rebuke to Reader’s suspicions in one line as compared to my more lengthy response.
I will remember this for some time to come. Such poetry is clearly beyond my abilities, so thank you for sharing your keen wit and sharp abilities in such a perfect riposte to such an outrageous claim.
@Reader
Fraud can be pursued by any interested party, consequently, you are wise to suspect it from any corner or political persuasion.
Those who would call for allowing a measure of trust in such matters as sensitive as elections should be considered most likely as being untrustworthy. Reagan is often quoted as having said “Trust but verify”, but the only part of that statement that warrants any trust is the word ‘verify’.
The audit in AZ is being live streamed and recorded from 60 angles rather than being conducted behind locked doors with security to keep all observers out and using cardboard boxes to shutter even observation thru windows as was utilized by the Democrats during the fraudulent counting schemes.
Observers are on site in AZ to review the process and offer any critiques or controversy as should be accepted in a fair review, which was missing on every level in Nov.
Beyond this, you are also correct in your suggestion that the Republicans should be doing some soul searching, as the election was clearly stolen and they played a pivotal role in ignoring the reality of it in a timely manner and still oppose accepting it even today some 8 months later when only 1 state of 50 are looking at the fraud.
The fraud, it should be assumed, was likely not only conducted by the Democrats, recall the AZ audit is opposed by a bipartisan group still to this day.
If it were left to political parties alone, the AZ audit would still not have been conducted. It is the will of the people that brought this project forward and has included thousands of man-hours that are entirely being conducted by volunteers.
The public are aware of the dozens of not, questionable but obvious fraud schemes that led to this theft-ed process and rejected it as acceptable.
This is the reality of the political nature behind the audit – it’s not politically based, but has been opposed by a bipartisan opposition from the beginning.
But we won’t know if we don’t look. And if we don’t look or can’t look at these ballots, why are many thousands of dollars being spent throughout the US on housing and protecting the ballots that can never be reviewed?
It’s ridiculous to accept these matters as too certain to check. The Dems have hired over 100 high-priced attorneys to make certain their victory is not confirmed in a race where their victory was based on historic levels of support.
It’s beyond absurd to suspect they are so certain of the falsity of fraud suspicions that they have spent millions of dollars in legal fees just to oppose the confirmation of their certain victory.
Such logic is only sustainable in a partisan perspective.
It is also unhelpful to suspect fraud from any angle where true daylight has been shown as completely as in the AZ audit.
But there was no daylight behind the cardboard boxes that parted all trust from an open process of oversight in Nov, as it was the only way such massive fraud conducted on multiple levels by thousands of players acting on behalf and in coordination with many foreign nations, not the least of which were such friendly groups as China and Iran.
We will see what comes from this audit, but you are beyond ridiculous to suggest that it is a wild political foray base upon a misguided purpose.
Proof that opposing Garland’s appointment to the Supreme Court was wise.
Does Reader work at the DOJ ?
Where is the guarantee that the audits will not be conducted fraudulently?
Maybe it’s time the Republicans did some soul searching instead of accusing everybody and his grandmother of fraud?
@Peloni you are correct, opposing by the AG of States auditing that voting was done correctly is not just ironic but reprehensible.
The irony is overwhelming here. The gov’t agencies, whose only purpose is to provide for the proper support of the enforcement of law, ignored the matters related to the election fraud and, on occasion, actually destroyed evidence and undermined honest investigations of the fraud. These same agencies later selectively pursued legal persecution of specific members of the public(conservatives) following Jan. 6.
And now they intend to usurp the State’s right to recognize the fraud and pursue legal remedy for the very same fraud that these agencies have first ignored and later aided in obscuring in the past many months. No reasonable person can entrust these watchdogs of election fraud to represent a fair arbiter of justice. These gov’t agencies have badly betrayed the public’s trust in them. Their further use in usurping the public’s will and the State’s process of review is intolerable.
Some might pronounce such steps as tyranny.
