An infamous case of mob rule and a judicial lynching. Because of the riots preceding the trial, in which large parts of the Minneapolis area burned down, the calling up of 16,000 national guardsmen before the trial by the governor, who obvious feared massive riots if there was an acquittal, the open threats of violence by BLM-Antifa, the constant incitement by senior politicals and the media, the jury would have been risking their lives and putting all the people of Minneapolis-St. Paul at rik if they had acquitted Chauvin.
The consequences of making it a crime for a police officer to enforce the law will cause a complete breakdown of order and physical security in the U.S. Police will babe retiring and quitting in droves. Those who remain will be extremely reluctant to use force, even when a suspect is armed and violent. Whites will flee any city or town with a significant black population, knowing that they will be unable to rely either on police protection or on self-defense if assaulted by a black. Middle-class blacks will flee the cities too, making them ghost towns.
