I think this is the real enchelada, not Indian propaganda. The CCP is very secretive, as always. I remember the days of the Cultural Revolution, which went on for years as a very serious conflict within the upper echelons of the Party; yet the only news I could find in the MSM were reports of this or that billboard appearing in this or that city.
I suspect that Xi is in deep trouble; it’s a matter of time.

Never heard of the “Shanghai faction” before. It is true that Jiang Dzemin was replaced several years ago as president by Xi-Jinping. This press agency offers no evidence that Putin is deeply involved in China’s internal politics. My guess is that this is just more Indian propaganda, aimed at persuading people in the English speaking countries that Chinese aggression against India can be defeated.
