Biden wants to go ahead with his pro-Palestine move, but Trump is a step ahead

   I can appreciate your wonder, but only briefly. Harris is the quintessential opportunist who made a political career by bouncing from one scandal to another(this is the most polite way to describe it). Her political successes were based upon the whims of the California political machine and the wishes of her very very close friend Willie Brown. Whatever personal opinions or perceptions she holds, she is as controlled as Biden and will wink, blink, nod and attack as she is told. She is a card carrying fop without the fashion sense and more processed than Canola oil, only with less backbone. She couldn’t even attempt to respond to the press when confronted over her performed outrage regarding the Smollet nonsense – just standing there rotating her head back and forth appearing as a lost child desperate for guidance. Like I said, Canola Oil Harris.

2. Though I wonder if Harris is friendlier to Israel than Biden. She visited Israel while running with her Jewish husband and praised Israel’s green innovations and humanitarian efforts in Africa and around the world. Could have just been election-time baby kissing of the sort that Obama did when he ran for the Senate and visited Jerusalem. She does strike me as an opportunist. But, I wonder.

3. Biden packed his administration with Israel-haters. This is really interesting.

   US President Joe Biden’s administration held off Tuesday on using the term “Occupied Territories” in an annual human rights report, a formulation abandoned by staunchly pro-Israel predecessor Donald Trump.

   Under Trump, the State Department’s reports on human rights starting with the edition released in 2018 have listed “Israel, West Bank and Gaza” and not “Israel and the Occupied Territories.”

   For the first report under Biden, which covers events in 2020, the State Department did not revert to earlier language but downplayed the significance.

   “This section of the report covers the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem territories that Israel occupied during the June 1967 war,” it said.

   “Language in this report is not meant to convey a position on any final status issues to be negotiated between the parties to the conflict, including the specific boundaries of Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem, or the borders between Israel and any future Palestinian state.”

   Trump made the landmark move to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and later backed its annexation of the Golan Heights from Syria.

   Former secretary of state Mike Pompeo also said the United States did not agree that Israeli settlements in the West Bank are illegal, a view shared by most of the world.

   Pompeo’s successor under Biden, Antony Blinken, has said that the United States will keep its embassy in Jerusalem but has also called for greater efforts to support the Palestinians, including through humanitarian aid.

   During the call, Harris and Netanyahu also agreed to continue to cooperate on regional security issues, specifically Iran’s nuclear programme and “dangerous” behaviour, the White House statement said.

   Biden’s bid to revive a 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and world powers sets him and Netanyahu on a potential collision course.

   The Israeli prime minister opposed the nuclear deal and applauded former US President Donald Trump’s decision to abandon it in 2018.

   Harris also congratulated Netanyahu on Israel’s coronavirus vaccine programme and they agreed to increase cooperation on the coronavirus, water, green energy and other initiatives, the White House said.”

5. All of TFI’s broadcasts are pro-Indian propaganda. Their principal purpose seems to be to reassure Indians and people of Indian origin living in the English-speaking countries that India is able to defend itself in its conflict with China. In order to do this. TFI tells these expatriate Indians that India has the support of Russia as well as powerful individuals and groups within the United States in its conflict with China, even while admitting that the Biden administration is allied with China and hostile to Indian interests. They also point to Israel’s support for India, which is true. However, it is not true that that Russia supports India over China. On the contrary the Putin government has made it plain that it regards China as an ally. TFI also aeaggerates the power of pro-Indian and anti-Biden forces in the United States. Thus their claims that Biden faces ‘landmines” that will prevent him from fully implementing his pro-China, anti-Indian and anti-Israel agendas are exaggerated.

   On the other hand, TFI is correct that the Biden administration is giving all-out support to the Palestinian terrorist organizations (which include Fatah), and is anti-Israel. They are also correct that Mahmoud Abbas is plotting a wholse series of sinister moves, with the complicity of Biden-Harris.

   This broadcasts also shows that Israel doe have many genuine friends in the indian government and communications media. THat is nice to know.
