A harsh indictment of America, I realize, but one much deserved. I have watched, aghast and pained, as US citizens have caved in large numbers to what is essentially a Marxist ideology designed to take America down.
Recently I watched an excellent Webinar by Americans for Peace and Tolerance, chaired by Charles Jacobs, on the subject of the failure of many Jewish American organizations – most notably ADL – to stand up against anti-Semitism.
Two-thirds of American Jews, we were told, have become WOKE: They have bought into the radical position on race and more. And there is little chance of changing their minds. The most productive approach is to work with the remaining one-third, providing them with strength.

Yet even those Jews who are still fighting against anti-Semitism do not always get the full picture. In California, many Jews fought against a horrendous curriculum being proposed that contained anti-Semitic content. When that content was removed, they celebrated, but Jonathan S. Tobin, editor of Jewish News Syndicate (and a major participant in the webinar I alluded to above), points out that this is not sufficient.
Tobin cites Tyler Gregory, executive director of the San Francisco Jewish Community Relations Council, which has withdrawn all objections to the curriculum. Said Gregory in a press release: “…we need ethnic studies now. Ethnic studies give marginalized communities the agency to define and share their own stories, cultures and histories. As Jewish Americans, we relate to this urgent need.” (Emphasis added) But Tobin is clear-eyed as to what is actually going on: “The idea of ethnic studies sounds like an anodyne concept that everyone should embrace. It’s actually a terrible idea tainted by what even the liberal-leaning American Jewish Committee rightly termed ‘a rigid ideological worldview.’ “For all of the talk about ethnic studies empowering marginalized minority populations and giving children positive role models, the concept at the core of this effort is critical race theory. That’s an idea that views all Americans solely as members of racial and ethnic groups, not as individuals. As with other permutations of this toxic idea, the goal of the curriculum isn’t so much to fight racism as it is to enshrine race consciousness at the heart of every discussion and topic. “The Critical Ethnic Studies Association, which was the original driving force behind this program, isn’t really interested in celebrating diversity and adding the stories of different groups to the accepted narrative of American history. What they want is to replace the old story of America as born in a fight for liberty and seeking, despite problems and the sin of slavery and racial discrimination, to progress towards freedom for all with one that views it as an irredeemably racist nation. “The point of the curriculum they inspired, even in its revised form, is not one of inclusion of minorities in the story of America, but rather, to indoctrinate all students in the idea of ‘translating historical lessons and critical race theory into direct action for social justice.’ Its purpose is to reinforce a leftist worldview that sees what earlier generations celebrated as the ‘American creed’ of opportunity, meritocracy and liberty as merely a ‘dominant narrative’ that serves white privilege and racism.” (All emphasis added) ~~~~~~~~~~ The quote from Tyler Gregory – “as Jewish Americans we relate to this urgent need” – provides insight as to what is motiving many Jews in America. Very likely liberal in their political perspective from the get-go, they are now moved to identify with those they perceive as suffering, or victims. I saw it with the issue of illegal immigrants coming in from Mexico. “Our families came as immigrants,” went the cry, “so we must support their right to come too.” But this is a naïve and simplistic viewpoint devoid of historical perspective. Never, ever, were the gates of America simply open to Jews seeking to come. They had to qualify in a variety of ways, and many were the stories of people who arrived at Ellis Island only to be examined by a doctor and turned back. But this is forgotten now, as vast numbers with Covid have paraded into America. ~~~~~~~~~~ The issue of illegal immigration is just one very small portion of all that is happening in America today, of course. And those who have bought into a new way of thinking – who are “WOKE” [“enlightened”] – are hardly all Jews. I do not know the percentage of all Americans that has absorbed that destructive perspective. But what I do know is that we are witnessing the destruction of a once great country. ~~~~~~~~~~ Linda Goudsmit is the author of The Book of Humanitarian Hoaxes: Killing America with ‘Kindness’, which “exposes fifty of the most sinister leftist, Islamist, globalist interconnecting attacks on America deceitfully disguised as altruism.” In “Fomenting Race Wars,” she examines the roots of Critical Race Theory (emphasis added): “Critical Race Theory (CRT) is a binary theoretical framework rooted in Marxism that defines individuals as either oppressed or oppressors based on their skin color. Critical Race Theory insists that white people are oppressors and people of color are oppressed. CRT is an obscene and entirely unAmerican doctrine because it views every individual through the prism of race, rather than the prism of merit… “The entire narrative of CRT is racist. So, why is racist CRT being taught in American schools? Why is racist CRT considered woke [enlightened]? “…The goal of Critical Race Theory devotees and their cancel-culture campaign is to foment race riots and a race war in the United States. “…How is CRT and its racist white privilege narrative designed to foment a race war?? Saul Alinsky [who was a hard-left progressive community organizer] provides the answer in his infamous tactical primer, Rules for Radicals. Alinsky instructs radicals to, ‘Rub raw the resentments of the people…’ “Race is the simplest division to exploit because it is visible. Fomenting racial hostility is a very effective strategy for dividing and conquering a nation. Well firstly…we are NOT arguing, we are discussing, and, from your perspective, different points of view. I maintain that we are really talking about the same thing. The concept is very simple and has been used since time immemorial. One comes across it in very ancient historical data, actually chiselled into stone steles.

It works bcause of the utter stupidity of humankind in general. The lack of logical thinking is universal, and things are made worse by an over abundance of protective cunning, and self preservation al all costs.

That is the whole point, I think I assessed correctly, and the same way as you, but you seem to take a different path towards saying the same thing.
You mention “the common fight against exploitation and injustice”…WEeell, who causes the exploitation and injustice??? Only the
bosses. And it is the workers who are exploited. Any bosses exploited by their workers go bankrupt eventually.
And the “elites” you mention, they are also the one and same as the bosses.
So WE ARE SAYING THE SAME THING. At least, I see it as so.
The divide and Rule axiom is when the bosses, the elites, the rulers, cause division and dissention amongst the lower, labouring, artan and professional classes. It prevents them from getting together to overthrow the elites.
it’s a very simple concept. Look at the Israeli elections today. The narcissistic leaders, for thei own wounded pride, cause the voters to see their enemy their way, and make dissention, thus preventing a sufficient group of sensible voters from getting together and elect the RIGHT person.

Divide-and-rule is NOT the situation where you have a a worker and his boss which is a normal, everyday situation, and the boss may be liked or disliked by the workers.
And no country can expect to function without a government despite all the anarchists’ dreams.

Divide-and-rule is the ages-old technique which the top rulers (in any society) use to artificially divide their subjects (including the colonial ones) into groups which blame, hate, and fight against each other instead of presenting their grievances to the government or fighting against their colonizers.
The only ones to benefit from it are the elites who promote the divisions by playing up the differences and often financially supporting the warring factions so the fight can go on and then presenting themselves as the impartial arbiter – it is like selling weapons to all the warring countries to prolong the fight and to make money and then “winning” the war.
This has always worked beautifully because the subjects always go for it with gusto; in a way, in this case, it does take two to tango.
Maybe this is an indestructible human trait, just like the perennial human need to look for a mighty fuehrer who is made into a Superman and an idol by the public imagination.

The explanation is simple. You just posted it. IF the workers UNITE they are uniting against their bosses. This is a given. Thus, a minimum of TWO classes is formed. The workers, since they are the producers, are the new bosses , DIVIDED against the former bosses-and even antagonistic to the other sub-classes.. So all becomes WELL divided, and crying out for RULERS
Is this not Divide and Rule…? Of course there will be multiple sub, and side classes, but they will be subservient to the new bosses.
In reality the new bosses , becoming the rulers, do less and less work or produce. They make the former bosses do the work and produce, thus they become the workers. And some time in the future THEY will UNITE and overthrow their bosses…..and so on… History works the same way.
Empires rise and fall, only to be replaced by other empires…..and so on..!
I read the contents of those so-called scientific articles when I was a kid, and not in any scientific article, They were often described in common ot garden volels, since at least the 16th century. I read mine in mid 19th cent, or/and early 20th cent books.

There is no knowledge competition.
I’ve seen scientific articles (American, not Chinese) which argued that “overeducation” is harmful because if there are too many people with too much education, at least some of them will have to take lower level jobs and they will feel “dissatisfied”. which is supposedly very bad.
So, in their opinion, it’s better for the society to have fewer educated people or more people with lower levels of education – make of this what you will.

It is really ironic that all these unending ATTEMPTS FROM ABOVE TO DIVIDE AND RULE are labeled Marxist!
The most famous and basic Marxist slogan is “Workers of the world – unite!”
This presupposes ignoring the racial, national, ethnic and other differences in the common fight against exploitation and injustice.
Of course, the grass-roots Marxists also tended to go to extremes in their own way by trying to level the differences but it is a hell of a lot closer (at least in theory) to the MLK’s ideal than “Critical Race Theory” or “ethnomathematics”.
In my opinion, the worst thing that has ever happened to blacks in this country, aside from slavery, was affirmative action.
On top of being insulting (because it presupposes the lack of ability to succeed), it seems to have been purposely designed to be another weapon in the divide-and-rule armory and “to keep blacks in their place” by not letting them to engage in fair competition because their achievements were judged “good enough” by the lower standards (which, in fact, gave them substandard education and left them unable to compete).
The newest “woke” inventions are the fresher additions to affirmative action, and the newer divide-and-rule weapons of the elite.
I wish people finally learned to see through these machinations and quit attacking each other using the weapons put in their hands by the VERY RICH (Marx hating, BTW) elite – but it looks like they can’t.
