The Road to Perdition

By Ray DiLorenzo, STAND UP AMERICA

We know communists and fascists began infiltrating our nation in the early twentieth century. We know they declared that our culture must be eradicated and our faith in God broken for a totalitarian socialist state to rise out of the ashes of a free republic. Who opened the door to this contagion and left it wide open? Who caused the plague to spread to a point where it has now infected the whole of our society and our culture, now unrecognizable to anyone over 50 years of age?

Our Constitution was God inspired to men of faith and like Scripture itself was supposed to be timeless, not a living document that changes with the times. God does not change. People don’t change, only societies that give license to people to become corrupt, depraved, and engage in their baser instincts.

in three fateful decisions, the Supreme Court turned the entire nation from a God-fearing, faith-based society into a proverbial secular free for all. A perfect host for a communist/fascist takeover.

Supreme Court Justices, judges and politicians like for us to think that interpreting the Constitution is a task only for the greatly learned in our society. Not true. Almost any question can be answered by the founders of our country who wrote letters to each other in prolific amounts. These letters speak plainly of the original intent of the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. Justices are supposed to decide what the law says, not what it should be. These founders still speak if we are willing to listen.

In Engel v. Vitale – 1962, affirmed in 1992…the decision that ended prayer and Bible reading in schools. This was a complete misinterpretation of the 1st Amendment concerning the establishment of religion. The Amendment was intended to prevent the government from establishing a state religion, like the Church of England. It was never presumed to curtail Christian prayer in public.

While President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson was elected the first president of the Washington, D.C. public school board, which used the Bible as a reading text in the classroom. And Jefferson was considered a liberal.

Public prayer was a constant exercise during our early government. John Quincy Adams said, “The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.” That says much. Christianity was the predominate religion in America and remains so. And for that reason, everyone, regardless of religion or no religion at all is welcome at the table. It was never meant to spread secularism or to preclude Christianity in public life.

In Rowe v. Wade – 1973. Much has been written concerning this abomination of a court decision. What it simply did was reduce the child in a mothers womb to a thing, a choice, a ‘medical condition.’ The preamble to our Constitution states:

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

The justices in their infinite ignorance simply removed the word posterity. That is not interpretation. It is altering.

The majority Justices did not or would not understand the founders’ understanding of the ‘right to life’ as expressed by the jurist William Blackstone of 18th century common law. The very thought of a woman exercising a superior right over the lessor right of a daughter or a son would have been hateful. Reduce the worth of a child and you diminish the worth of all human beings.

In Obergefell v. Hodges – 2015, the Supreme Court decided in favor of same-sex marriage, a further assault on our dignity as a Judeo-Christian nation. It was the elevation of the union between two people of the same sex to the rite of marriage, a sacrament of the Christian Church, a holy union. In other words, devaluing the state of matrimony the church considers holy by couples Scripture considers unrepentant. For millennia it was inseparably linked to procreation, the family, a union in which the state has a societal interest in.

There was no legal ban on homosexual relationships or even legal unions, but it has now come to a point where acceptance is no longer requested, but approval that is now demanded. Chief Justice Roberts said in his dissent, “…the deepest problem with their decision was “the disrespect it shows the democratic process.” Roberts thought it should have been decided by the people. Justice Alito, in his dissent said, “This decision will be used to vilify Americans who are unwilling to assent to the new orthodoxy.” And so it has. Businesses being sued and made bankrupt for not baking a cake. We now have homosexual education being taught to four-year old children and books being read to children by transsexuals.

Ours is a society turned upside down, a redefining of institutions and behavior previously accepted for thousands of years, as if we are gods, knowing good and evil. The Church is in a coma, concerned with pew count, not Biblical substance. We invent new genders, sexualize children, call violent criminals, nothing more than ‘victims of a systemically racist culture’ and, pedophiles? We normalize them, calling them ‘minor attracted persons’. It is becoming a society where no truth can be depended on. No rock to lean on.

True freedom requires responsibility and morality. John Adams said, “The Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Maybe that is the reason we are losing our freedoms as we speak. It was not a giant leap to find respect for law and order diminishing. If the Left would have their way, for traditional Americans to be accepted into their world we would have to deny the existence of God and His law. And with the departure of God goes our natural rights, law and order, as defined in our Constitution. May it never be.

And so, who are these people that have caused what we have feared for so long to now become a blunt reality pounding on our doors? Who has given credence and legitimacy to everything slinking out of Pandora’s box? Who has paved the road to perdition? It is us. We have allowed it.

  1. @ Reader:
I certainly WILL leave you alone. It was YOU, remember who posted to me.

And PLEASE understand….. I DO UNDERSTAND….I DO UNDERSTAND….only a head made of wood would not have seen this Loooong ago. ………..

Poor Reader, I am really sorry that you are so dense, because inherently, you are decent and earnest-even likeable.. You are a stand-alone figure that a person like myself can’t help but make fun of. But if you lightened up, and widened your tunnel vision, It would be an intellectual pleasure to discuss with you. As it is……. Good bye for now.

  2. @ Edgar G.:
All I can see that you didn’t understand or didn’t want to understand anything I wrote.
I don’t like being insulted by you or anybody else, so leave me alone.

  3. Reader Said:

You didn’t read what I wrote carefully enough, otherwise you would have recognized my sarcasm and that this statement was described (among others)

READER-That’s EXACTLY what I meant about you. You can’t see the wood for the trees. Could even YOU not see that I was deliberately saying 50 mill to offset your 150 mill. I was well aware of your EXTREMLY heavy visible thunderstorm “sarcasm” as you call it, and it only goes to show that you have NO sense of either subtle irony or humour, expecially the latter.

I was making fun of you,and even openly TOLD you so…yet you did not see it……..

I really don’t know what to make of you at all..a cardboard dummy…?? maybe, But I think that has too much intellectuality for one like you..Perhaps a foam stuffed item, like,, say, the seat of a settee, where people can sit on (“it”?) and relax whilst watching some comedy on TV….and LAUGH.

You are so unconsciously funny that you could make a fortune on TV as the stooge sidekick of the comedian..all the time scratching your head and wondering what the audience is laughing at……!!!

Why don’t you want to think I deliberately misstated the meaning of your post….???? DO think it…and…..don’t answer this, I already have a pain from laughing.

  4. @ Edgar G.:
“Didn’t know that Stalin murdered 150 mill people”

You didn’t read what I wrote carefully enough, otherwise you would have recognized my sarcasm and that this statement was described (among others) by me not as a fact but as someone’s ignorant fantasy.

    Your response makes no sense.

I don’t want to think that you deliberately misstated the meaning of my post.

  5. @ Reader:
READER-I was wrong about you. I always assumed-incorrectly- that you were a very good, over meticulous poster, a good researcher, etc. But….
I now have come to the considered conclusion that what you post is part fact, a large part is assumption with no evidence, and the rest, pure nonsense….headed by microscopically important nothings.

***Did your word “can” at the beginning of your post, actually mean “can’t”…***?

I’m sorry, because you really DO research, butbetween reading the documentations, and putting them down on paper, they turn cartwheels inside you head, and come out sideways… The conclusions you draw wander far from the facts, and your imputations are pure hyperbolism at it’s worst.

After reading one of your posts about myself, I really don’t recognise “me” at all. And who would know better about ME than ME… Certainly not YOU.

I think you and Clinton should get together ans swap pipulim. His famous “it depends on what the meaning of “is” is..” would take some beating, but “you can do it Charlie my boy, you can do it…!!”

Sorry for making a joke of your stuff, but it’s rreally laughable for the most part. Keep posting as it helps put me in a good humour. Thank you…

P.S. Didn’t know that Stalin murdered 150 mill people, I thought it was only 50 mill. Just shows me how I can be wrong…Again,…thank you.

  6. @ Edgar G.:
Just because someone makes a general statement, doesn’t mean that statement can be completely off the wall.

Maybe I am good at pilpulim but you are really good at reading other people’s minds – incorrectly.

I am not at all enchanted with “the wonders of Communism” but I just don’t like the fantasies about how the Soviets murdered all the peoples that they “conquered”, how Stalin murdered 150 million people, or how the only reason the Soviet army kept fighting the Germans in WWII and got as far as Berlin was that every Soviet soldier had a rifle pointing at his back to make him fight, otherwise he would either desert or surrender to the “civilized” Germans whose only aim was to free the Russian Untermenschen from the evils of Communism (oh, I am sorry, my mistake, Judeo-Bolshevism).

Oh, and how they wanted to exterminate all the Ukrainians in the 30s by starving them to death.

BTW, neither socialism nor communism has ever existed yet anywhere.

What DID exist were rather crude attempts by very backward countries to jump over whole phases of history by “building” the above.

  7. @ stevenl:
    Hi, Steven. You asked,

“In the meantime tell me what is the origin of EVEYTHING? Nothingness?”

Those who say the origin of everything is “nothingness” can easily be called idiots.

The Bible says quite the opposite: The origin of everything is a God, whose name and character is “I AM” — a definite “something”.

You might also note that Genesis 1 describes the origin of the universe along the same lines as the current “Big Bang” theory. Science now accepts this theory as well, but is playing catch-up. Not too many years ago, when science boldly declared that we are on the verge of a new Ice Age, the “Steady State” theory was taught — which emphatically stated that the universe has always been essentially what it is today. The “Big Bang” was called “Catastrophism”, and ridiculed.

  8. @ Reader:
Again with the pilpulim. I made a general statement. You zoomed in -as usual- on one or two aspects and asked ME to parse and examine every letter. Buzz off. Or YOU explan and parse, and show how it vitiates the general statement. You can’t do it.

    You are being just your usual gnat bite. You just can’t resist it. Get wise…..go silent. Or…..;

Give us a megillah telling of the wonders of Communism, and it’s great uplifting of the individual, it’s great superiority to Democracy, and how there were NO Communist infiltrators at the centre of the US Govt. etc.etc Go on, do it….DO IT…!

  9. @ vivarto:
If you’re looking for a “scientific-based” God, then please keep on looking; just don’t expect to find such a being…
You would do well to study Zen; lots of interesting books around. D.T. Suzuki springs to mind. If not… well as I said above, keep on looking…

  10. @ keelie:
McCarthy began his crusade against the Communists when they were, in all actuality, exposed as serving the ranks of our government. He called out the fact that there were little to no safeguards in place to protect our gov’t from being easily infiltrated by Communist agents or supporters and, thus, undermining the safety and security of the country. His tactics were brutish, non-specific and repelling to most Americans and this is where the problem with McCarthy lies. McCarthy’s heavy handed measures, once exposed to the ridicule and the resulting condemnation, single-handedly set the anti-Communist movement to reform the government hiring back to the stone age. For decades, any attempts to call out what were legitimate concerns about foreign(communist) interests invading our gov’t were silenced by uttering that one word…McCarthyism. Using the messenger to silence the message is a common tactic – it works, but it does not erase the truth behind the message. It only makes that truth irrelevantly buried in a shroud of political correctness and rendered us less safe for many decades. Furthermore, it allowed the communists and their sympathizers to marshal a decades-long campaign(which continues to this day) to bolster and propagandize their political philosophy, which gained much support as a consequence of McCarthy’s ignominious fall.

  11. @ Edgar G.:
“the Soviets, and their murderous conquest of all surrounding peoples and territories”?!

    A few real-life examples, please?

Also, there is no one ethnic group named “Soviets”, so who was murderously conquering whom and when?

  12. @ keelie:
“We know communists and fascists began infiltrating our nation” – this is a highly paranoid statement.

BTW, why is it that in the US “communist” and “antifa” are swear words but “Nazi” or “fascist” isn’t?

(Don’t give me the usual “Out of respect for the memory of the murdered Jews” nonsense.)

McCarthy was a fascist who ruined a lot of lives.

  13. @ vivarto:
A “scientific religion” is gournish (goonish)!
The left has already politicized science. It is what they want IT to be!
In the meantime tell me what is the origin of EVEYTHING? Nothingness?

  14. @ keelie:
Joe McCarthy WAS right. It was just his overbearing vengeful manner which rubbed people up the wrong way. But he was right all along. He just went about it in the wrong way. The best way to cure Communism in America would have been to expose the US people to what was actually going on there. The TRUE history of both the revolution and it’s dictatorial aftermath culminating in the Soviets, and their murderous conquest of all surrounding peoples and territories. Also Stalin’s dlaughtering of all opponents, and innocents alike.

They should have listened carefully to Whittaker Chambers who denounced Alger Hiss, but whom they ignored for many years, allowing Hiss to move freely in the highest government circles and jobs. In the end they got him only for perjury, a less than 5 year sentnce. And the tremendous damage he and the many others did, is what we are paying for now

Sorry for duplication, computer glitch. But I want to leave the later one posted as it contains much more .

  16. The problem is that our Mr. God is a myth, and has to be treated as such.
This inevitable victory of the rational mind over mythological mind initially gave us science and the strength to be victorious over barbarians.
On the other hand, the death of Mr. God resulted in a void which was filled with Marxist religion.

Going back to old religions is impossible because they are stupid.
We need a new religion that is 100% scientific and beyond.

You can say goodbye to silly story about God creating the world in 6 days and Eve being made from Adam’s rib without having to buy into Atheism and Marxist belief system.

True religion is not for sheep and cannot be learned from books or holy men.
Neither from Rabbis nor from Gurus, or some other holy assholes.

It has to be discovered in our own hearts. And the discovery is individual not collective.

  17. We know communists and fascists began infiltrating our nation in the early twentieth century. We know they declared that our culture must be eradicated and our faith in God broken for a totalitarian socialist state to rise out of the ashes of a free republic.
So it looks as if Joe McCarthy was dead right. Right now just about everyone still refers to him as a vile person with a vile philosophy… But you can’t have it both ways; he was either right or wrong…
How does he look now to you readers?
