Ironically, America may be saved by the Chinese people, although not of course by the CCP. which is the mutual enemy of both the Chinese people and the American people.
The entire Chinese people, and not just the Uighurs alone have been cruelly oppressed over the past two years. Constant lockdowns caused by coronamania have been in progress for over a year now. These lockdowns have been far more severe than anything experienced in the U.S. and other Western countries. Sometimes people have been confined to their apartments for months at a time, and not even allowed to shop for food, go to work, or walk the corridors of their own apartment building. Sometimes one province or city is shut down, sometimes another. But all regions have been affected at one time or another. Arrests and imprisonments of alleged curfew violators have been common.
There is a severe food shortage and rising food prices. There are constant exhortations over the radio to save food. Massive floods related to poorly constructed dams have not only destroyed vital food crops, but have displaced several million people. Numerous property development companies have failed, and their failures have placed China’s banks in jeopardy. Many people who invested in real estate have lost their entire savings. There is severe inflation, and wages are not keeping up with prices.
Contrary to what many Westerners believe, the Chinese have repeatedly revolted throughout their history when oppression and poverty have reached extreme lengths. True, the Chinese governments in power at these times, have usually mmanaged to supress these revolts, since they were mainly conducted by illiterate peasants. But the Chinese populace is much better educated now, they have learned something about democracy, and that there are democratic countries with a higher standard of living as well as more personal freedom than China. I don’t think that the CCP regime will be able to handle the next mass revolt, which willl probably take the form of widespread strikes and public protests.
If such a revolt happens, U.S. corporations that have relied on Chinese semi-slave labor may be forced to relocate in the United States and pay fair wages to American workers. “Supply chain disruptions” in the U.S. may cause severe inflation, leading to a popular uprising (hopefully via the ballot box) against the DP here, and also against the Big Tech communications monopolies that provide the Dems with most of their campaign money. These companies may also find that their bottom lines no longer permit them to subsidise fake news. In other words, if the Chinese people manage to free themselves from the oppressive CCP rule, it may enable the American people to free themselves from oppressive, quasi-Marxist DP rule.
