Clalit survey of 1.2 million Israelis, half of them immunized, finds that shots drive down symptomatic COVID by 94%

A massive study by Israel’s largest health provider indicates that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is 94 percent effective in preventing symptomatic COVID-19, and 92% effective in averting serious cases of the disease.
The survey by the Clalit Health Services HMO compared 600,000 fully vaccinated individuals — 170,000 over 60 and 430,000 between the ages of 16 and 59 — with 600,000 unprotected Israelis. Believed to represent the largest such study in the world to date, it found the vaccine to be highly protective from both symptomatic infections and serious symptoms, shoring up previous studies on the shots.
“The previous studies dealt with infections, but not with symptoms and therefore can’t be compared to Pfizer’s clinical research,” said Dr. Ran Balicer, an epidemiologist who directs health policy planning at Clalit, in an interview with Channel 12. “Now, for the first time, we are comparing the vaccinated group with a control group with similar characteristics to see if the vaccine works ‘by the book.’”
After accounting for factors such as age, “we can state clearly: The vaccine prevents serious illness also among those 70 and older, for whom there wasn’t enough data in Pfizer’s study,” said Balicer, who analyzed the data along with several Israeli researchers and a team from Harvard University.
Starting from a week after the second shot, the vaccine is 91%-99% effective in preventing serious COVID-19 cases, the study found. Those figures will likely be narrowed down further as time goes by and additional immunized Israelis arrive at that mark. The data indicated the shots’ effectiveness could grow even further from two weeks after the second shot, said Balicer, though he said additional analysis would be needed in the coming weeks.
Last week, another Israeli healthcare provider that has vaccinated half a million people with both doses of the Pfizer vaccine said that only 544 people — or 0.1% — have been subsequently diagnosed with the coronavirus, there have been four severe cases, and no people have died. That means the effectiveness rate stands at 93%, Maccabi Healthcare Services announced on Thursday, after comparing its immunized members to a “diverse” control group of unvaccinated members.
As of Sunday night, over 3.8 million Israelis have received the first dose of the vaccine, and 2.5 million received both vaccines.

The vaccination is being given INCORRECTLY by poorly trained staff. The person on the receiving end is receiving a subcutaneous injection NOT an INTRAMUSCULAR vaccination !!
There must be NO pinching of the arm .
Also by giving the vaccination from a stand POV the angle of insertion here is totally incorrect – the ‘nurse’ is injecting into the SIDE of the pinched raised skin instead of the deltoid muscle .
IMO this lady HAS NOT BEEN VACCINATED!!

Netanyahu promised Pfizer that the whole population of Iisrael will be vaccinated and all the patient records will be made available to Pfizer.
This is the only whole country study.
Several very important Israeli rabbis are all for it, including punishments for the “vaccine refusers”.
Netanyahu also wishes for Pfizer and Moderna to establish vaccine factories in Israel for easy access.

Globalists are experimenting on a global scale. We are now found ourselves in Orwellian “1984” world. See what is going on in Europe. Merkel said that vaccination would be mandatory or else. Greece is totally under globalist control. Covid-19 (strange name isn’t it) has 99.9% survival rate (less then during influenza), proven treatment protocols… Common sense tells that there is no need for a vaccine (and as of today this virus has not been isolated), why people do not realize it? This is the way to global tyranny and Israel is participating… There is a Rabbinical call not to get vaccinated…
BTW, my brother in law, who is 78 yo, got vaccinated in Paris 2 weeks ago. Now he is paralyzed.

This is an infomercial, and one of the most disingenuous articles I have read to date. First, these injections are treatments for Covid illness, they are NOT vaccines. Vaccines PREVENT illness, treatments help reduce the symptoms of illness. “Driving down symptoms” is NOT the same as preventing illness. “Works by the book????” Whose book? If we are going “by the book” then Pfizer should stop calling its injections for symptom reduction, vaccines!
92% effective….Not good enough. 8% fail rate is far too high when failure means death. I likembetter that new cure which with a small number of very seriously ill patients (30) they were all cured. within 5 days. Now all at home, cured. Dr. Gamzu is in charge, and the mdication is breathed in directly to the lungs where it is NEEDED, a completely innovatibe method. .I look forard to this being the REAL cure and used everywhere.

However I don’t unfortunately trust Clalit health services.
They are pushing this experimental vaccine on young people who don’t necessarily need it at 99.98% recovery without any treatment.
There are options for treatment.
Who funds Clalit?
Does Pfizer pay for the study?
